okay i don't really have a sneak for pirate remus at the moment

After looking at a “tragedy tier list” on reddit, I’ve come to the realization that Kokushibo and Kaigaku are actually very similar characters.

Kokushibo envies Yoriichi and wants to surpass him in all ways. Kaigaku envies Zenitsu and wants to surpass him in all ways. They both are jealous over Zenitsu’s and Yoriichi’s assumed closer bonds to a parental figure (Yoriichi being the mother’s favorite and aiding her as her health failed, and Zenitsu with Jigoro). They both want to be the best.

Both are terrified of death and of losing. Kaigaku is willing to steal and drink muddy water and eat questionable things just so he won’t have to die. He (presumably) snuffs out the incense at the temple because the demon would have targeted him instead. Kokushibo abandons his family at the mere chance of catching up to Yoriichi, and then so he can escape death he willingly becomes a demon.

I think the biggest difference is that Kokushibo actually cared about Yoriichi. He let his bitterness and jealousy get the better of him, but even all those years later he still loved Yoriichi deep down. Kaigaku does not seem to hold any warm feelings for Zenitsu at all---perhaps because they weren’t actual brothers, or because Kaigaku’s upbringing led him to viciously try to suppress such things.

So now looking at Kokushibo being the one to change Kaigaku (with Muzan’s permission, but still) it just feels right. Kaigaku is a slightly different version of Kokushibo, and maybe he sees some of that. If nothing else, he sees what he admires: someone who doesn’t easily give up and that does their best.

Sorry for double posting but APPARENTLY those commission scammers have showed up on Tumblr at least for the first time for me.

For those who don’t know what I am talking about, there were/are commission scams going on in Instagram and even places like Artstation where people would pretend to be interested in your work and try to commission a pet or portrait for the sake of trying to get your bank details. Here’s how to (somewhat) sniff them out:

1- They don’t seem to be an average customer/ person that would be involved in your fandom, or has a blank template for an account or don’t even follow you.

2- They ask you to draw a portrait or a pet picture either for themselves or their children/family.

3- They promise to overpay you (in the hundreds) and do not listen to you even if you firmly state the price is cheaper.

4- They are constantly asking for your email name, or private details regarding things like banking details or passwords or other private information others should not know.

5- They try and over reassure you they mean no harm, try to guilt you into giving them the info, or become aggressive over you not giving them what they want.

What should you do if you come across one of these guys? My best advice is to block and report. Sadly these people jump account to account so there isn’t really much to do other than spread this info to prevent artists from being scammed.

A few years ago I would’ve thought you’re full of shit, but I’ve come to realize you’re 100% right. Coming from an American background, “anti white” sounds like a dogwhistle but I’ve seen w my own eyes what it does. The hatred they have for white women, claiming they can’t go through misogyny. Hating on white ppl, making tweets about how they will “never change their racist ways” and then having a white partner 9 times outta 10. Refusing to condemn Muslims or extremist Islamic ideology, or even criticize Muslims/black people. Calling black people who disagree with their anti white narrative sellouts. And more and more. I have stories and stories. A lot of ppl use racism as a clutch and it’s starting to come out more and more. I always used to tell people European issues are different from our American issues with race but was always dismissed with “they’re all the same evil white people”. Even to the point where as a black person you’re being insulted, simply by disagreeing with their bullshit narrative. The times are much different and we’re no longer in a racist Jim Crow/slavery era, but w some ppl it’s like the plantation never left. More black ppl kill each other daily, looting stores galore, they’ve shut down so many stores in Chicago and a black woman went viral for crying about it and saying y’all black ppl did this. It’s time for wake tf and stop blaming white ppl for every problem.

If a black person like yourself can see through the antiwhite narrative that plagues western countries, it’s proof the antiwhite propaganda has cranked up to insane levels.
