goodbye. for your muse to hold mine as they lay dying in their arms.
All good things must come to an end, don't they?
Even if the doesn't want it to. The book is still being written; he doesn't want it to end.
Alas, he is running out of ink.
Running out of time.
He doesn't recall much from the last very moments. It was a fight, gunshots, explosions and— now Vortex is holding tight on him, shouting, pleading to him.
Stay with me.
Stay. With. Me.
Just a little longer, right?
But there won't be any longer.
Unless... Unless he goes against the rules. Against the unwritten rules of the universe.
What strength he has left allows him to pry open Vortex's chest panels. There it is. It glows and flutters and that light is calling to him.
Blaze's chest panels snap open and with the final embrace, the sparks merge.
He will always, always be with you.

Would he prefer warm servos? Rodimus is quick good at massaging and he’s always pleasant heated.
"You know..."
"Me and you? We share similarities. Like literally living up to our names — or your paintjob, in your case."

They did say some prefer a HOT stone massage, and Beastie has two in each servo from cooking them in fire. "Warm, chicken up."
"Well, that's new."
He stretches and flattens some more.
"You could lay coal around me and that would be just perfect."

No massage. Only ice cold servos on the small of his back. :)
Add "HHRAAGHGAHAGH" to the soundboard of Blaze noises.

Blaze gives me the "Squirrel horded enough in a pole to actually kill the internet" vibe. But instead of a pole it's his back..
Most of the time those things find in his back by complete chance.
He kills his back by lifting things several times his weight, more or less...
#the trophy case#asks#anonymous#blaze vc i can and will suplex folks who are twice my height or weight

Proceeds to knead Blaze's back with his claws.
All of his back panels flare open for better access.
... And to maybe dig out some bullet shells.

Said gray face pops on to Blazes back and begins to knead like a cat. Throwing out the scrap casings and other unwanted items in his back.
Just try not to throw them out.
Some trinkets still have value.

✏ [I've always wanted to see Blaze as a merc and actually /managing/ to capture Megatron. Bonus Points if they reach this weird equilibrium with each other.]
// I'd be so down for that. And you know merc Blaze would be utterly bamboozled how he's managed to catch Megatron of all people

Ow.
Aw. Wow.
He got his aft handed at the fight club this morning — that was just sparring.
It's been a while since he's ever felt this stiff, sore and barely making his way through the streets back to his ship.

Don't get him wrong.
Blaze likes the silence. He likes not having to check every notification, every news pop-up, every message—
It's simply nice to turn off once every now and then and only allow those small moments to be his company. The subtle hum of Voyager's internals, the backlog of movies and music to listen to, the sound of tinkering with some archaic radio...
It's therapeutic.
But this has its downfalls.
He misses on events. Small or big, life-changing or downright devastating to the whole species. Oh, he still remembers the day he discovered Cybertron quite literally in flames.
This time? It's personal.
Too personal.
From the messages, that had been sent days ago, he has pieced together a tale, not unlike one straight from some horror thriller. Except this is real, real as the air around him, real as the growing urgency to do something about it.
It's his duty now.
His entire lifetime of being a bloodhound of valuables sneaking into places where he shouldn't be could never come at a better place. Voyager left behind in the orbit, Blaze slips through the cracks like the black shadow he is. Security all around isn't any brighter by his intrusion.
The window cracks open for him to enter the top floor of the clinic. The ward is pristine, and yet—
—it reeks of death.
