just finished my last class of the term! my junior year isn't officially over until monday, but it feels like a milestone nonetheless.

i dug up these photos from early 2021 (my junior year of high school, if you can believe it), back before i even had this account – it's been 4 years since i last thought about that APUSH textbook but my penchant for aesthetic study photos and iced coffee hasn't changed.

The weather is completely fucking me over today. It’s a little cooler but super humid and windy and no matter what I wear, it‘s wrong in some way, I changed five times before leaving the house. I was going to go to my class at uni today but it’s just literally impossible, I was on my way but had to turn back because I was so overwhelmed. Summer really is hell for my brain. Now I need at least an hour and a half to calm my super overloaded nervous system before I can even think about starting my day properly.

20.06. The joy of seeing the tutor wrote a compliment on his correction of our weekly electromagnetism problems. I‘ve had a really good day today despite waking up a little hungover (my best friend is in town for a couple days and visited last night). I didn’t study today but caught up on some housework, exercised and showered. Badflower released their new album today and it’s been a joy to listen to on repeat this afternoon. Now all that’s left to do is making dinner (which has become a part of my daily routine that I actually enjoy, which is wild considering how I used to hate cooking) and afterwards I have a chill hang out with my islamic collective. Great start to the weekend.
