Heyo! This comic idea is really cool! Would it be ok if I drew Holly? (I really like her design!)

Heyyo! It's completely fine tah' draw Holly~! And i m thank yah' fer yer feelings about the comic, I wish I can say "wow I've been working so hard on it!" But, life is sadly a huge jerk and ive been stuck in limbo due to drama and interests aligneing somewhere else. Maybe one day i'll finally get my bareings back with this comic! I do enjoy seein folks like the characters at least! 🥺❤❤

After struggling with my Pillz project i feel like such a failure! I know I shouldn't but i do. I know i'll get this out, but right now im very much struggling. Maybe one day i'll be as good as others who have progressed in their own creative endeavors. But for me, my depression seems to enjoy sucking me down into a pit where Im unable to create and be happy with what i make!!! I see others and i think "they are so far ahead, i want to be there!"

Then i look to this empty blog as i work day in and out, every. Single day on pillz with what feels like the smallest baby steps despite working all day until i wake up until i leave the table around midnight! Oh how the irony grows about this comic's themes being that of the importance of mental health and my experiences. You'd think it would make it easier..!

Extreamly rough outline to a scene. It's not how the outlines will be by the end since its paper, and i just wanna fit em on there-...but i think, maybe, just maybe...this can be funny--

I asked my friend Ash (@Ashthedoodlest on twitter for credit) for help on how they do poses for their characters and in shots. They express they havn't done comics really, but that they can help with trying to redline some poses in shots. And they gave me some advice on pushing the "Line Of Action" in a character, like this instance of Thomas!

Showing this because I think it's very neat to see what a difference this sorta change makes. If yall are ever stuck in a pinch of a character pose, strengthen that line of action! Go do some studys on it in yer' free time! Because I certainly will be~!

Guess who got intensely into weirdcore/dreamcore? It's me, because im hot like that

anyway Im making a lil group of characters where a man who is so obsurdly "normal" and bland that it's ironically weird. And he's like stanley parable levels of "my life is my office job and thats all I think about". Until he slips, clipping into another reality where the bounds of reality are broken and and on the edge. He soon meets a group of wackos that end up being his closest family and friends! It seems he fits in this world much more than his old one 👀❤

Each of these characters are based on an aspect of the dream/weirdcore communitys.

The story of Pills is seen through the eyes of a man named Thomas Jones, an average office drone with an ordinary life. Going Day to day on a certain schedule, working at his Office Supply Company; where he happily counts paper clips and typing away at his desk for his day. Then at the end of the day coming back home to his cat and starting the whole thing all over again the next day.

But after a string of strange incidents begins to halt the man's life right on it's head, his cat Oscar goes missing. Thomas in a mission to search for his trusty feline and figure out what is happening, finds himself clipping through the threads of reality. Into a world not like his own, but also at the same time, is.

Memories distorted, Thomas will have to navigate his way through not only a new world, but also through self discovery along side a group of strange beings...
