Hi friends! It feels like I haven't put out a Save in ages even though it hasn't been that long. I've always liked the idea of making Windenburg over but was overwhelmed by it, this world is beautiful and has so many things to it (like, many many many lots - big ones!) and such a unique style.

It was challenging for sure but overall incredibly fun and I learned that I actually quite love the Tudors and building them!

There's not a lot of new sims on this save, you'll find three households that I hope you love as much as I do (make sure to read their little stories!) and a very much needed and nice refresh of the previous pre-made sims that we know and learned to love.

This to me is the best save file I've ever made and I truly hope you guys love it as much as I do; with no further ado, here’s how to get it, enjoy! Love you guys.

To get the save file click me, download the file (please make sure you don’t have a save file with the same name) and drop it into your ‘saves’ folder. You can access this folder inside the Electronic Arts > The Sims 4 > Saves.

V.1: Silent Pines, 1998 Special Credit: Silent Pines is heavily inspired by and uses a very similar style to the stunning @windbrook savefile by @folkling, the gorgeous portsim savefile by @florwal, and the amazing builds by @moonwoodmillz. Thank you all for your hard work, I take a lot of inspiration from you all. Silent Pines is a base-game only save file inspired by Life is Strange with 3 major worlds, a whole new set of townies, and a complete mystery to solve.

I used S4Studio to rename all the worlds, and I've decorated all the neighbourhoods with T.O.O.L. As I said before, Silent Pines is completely base-game friendly, absolutely no packs or kits are used. There is some custom CC, mainly posters that add to the story. The CC is one package file and adds nothing other than some customisation to the story. It is not required.

For example the missing poster of Cleo Emerson, a girl who disappeared under mysterious circumstances;

The Neighborhood is a CC-free save file that explores the concept of home. V1 celebrates the vibrant communities of the U.S. Gulf Coast. ❤️

The wonderful Ly family in Willow Creek was lovingly created for the save by @cowplant-snacks. All other neighbors were made by me, you can meet all of them here! Pets are from Pugowned, misc. townies from @cowplant-snacks and @simsontherope on the gallery.

There's lots of little details and things to explore, both around the world and relationship wise, so I'm excited to see what y'all uncover. Please feel free to @theneighborhoodsave in your posts or tag #theneighborhoodsave. I'd love to see what your sims are up to!

The save is 100% CC free! Please note that I do have all expansions, packs, and kits (except for Castle Estate, Goth Galore + Crystal Creations.) For any items you don't own the game will try to auto find replacements for those items. The file is mostly blank this time around but does include the original EA builds in university and vacation type worlds (sans Granite Falls.)

Included is a folder of completely optional skin details/eyelashes for the neighbor sims. Thank you to @faaeish, @pyxiidis, @tamo-sim, and @landgraabbed! There are 4 pieces of CC I cannot include in the folder due to creator TOU. Please check the included "Read Me" file for more information.

If you've never used a save file and need help installing it, I highly recommend this tutorial by @leeleebsimming.

⚠️ A couple of disclaimers here due to some existing EA bugs. EDIT 4/25: Included in that link are directions on how to avoid TOOL'd items from disappearing. If you want to keep powerlines and such please check this out! ⚠️

Everything was tested to work around these, but I wanted to put them out there as an FYI.

TOU: Please don't reupload my save/builds/sims, claim as your own, and absolutely do not paywall them. Other than that feel free to build your own Neighborhood stories however you'd like!

To give more context, this save utilizes ALL EPs, GPs, and SPs (except My First Pets) as well as ALL KITS (except Bust The Dust and Poolside Splash) While you may not own every pack or kit that I used, the save file is still playable. Antiquated Brindleton

An 1890s Decades Challenge Save File

This save has been almost a year in the making, but it's finally here! It includes a completely rebuilt Brindleton Bay inspired by historic New England towns and set in the 1890s. This save uses a light amount of historical cc and most of the packs.

Includes:

Eight new residential lots

Seven new community lots

Six new households

Builds and households are all located in Brindleton Bay. The world is intended to be historically accurate to about 1890, though some liberties for functionality have been taken.

Builds in other worlds have been deleted. The necessary buildings, like dorms, active career lots, and the high school, have all been left in place.

Townies have been evicted, but not deleted, as I prefer EA townies to fully randomized townies.

If you’d like more period appropriate townies to add, the lovely @jewishsimming has some great historical ones to download and @cowplant-snacks has an amazing tutorial on how to manage your townies with MCCC.

REQUIREMENTS: I have all the packs except Batuu and some of the kits. I didn’t limit myself when building. I don’t have everything listed out here, but I will be uploading all the lots and households to my gallery, so if you’d like to know specific pack usage you’ll be able to check there. If you load in and things are replaced or missing and you think it looks obvious feel free to message me, I’m always happy to try to help you find something else that fits! This save includes historical CC, some is included in my download in folders and some you will need to download from the creators directly. The CC required is listed and linked below, you need to download these linked pieces in ADDITION to the included cc folders.

DOWNLOAD: There are five zipped folders to download, four of which contain included cc, and one which includes the save itself.

Download the "AB_SaveFile" folder, unzip it and simply move the file inside to your saves folder inside your Sims 4 folder (where your mods folder is located).

The included cc is in four folders (to allow for easier upload/download) for build, buy, clothing, and hair. Simply download the folders, unzip them, and place them in your mods folder.

After this you should be good to load up your game and get playing, let me know if you run into any issues, I'm happy to try to troubleshoot. Clubs: Over 20 new clubs available! Some are very punny, I made myself laugh. anyway...

**There are over 150 townies in the 'other households' tab. If your game CANNOT handle so many townies, simply delete some of them, preferably the homeless ones so that all your homes aren't empty.**

foundry cove neighborhood 🍃

at the very beginning of my account, I had shared a first version of the foundry cove neighborhood. nevertheless, I thought a lot about the style i wanted for my save and decided to redo everything. this neighborhood and willow creek central park are the most "swampy" parts of the city, unlike the other neighborhoods where you can find exotic plants. foundry cove is also the poorest part of the city, and it's also very poorly maintained, which is why it's polluted by a lot of garbage on the street.

Folking Save File WIP - Bowling Alley (Oasis Springs)

I spent 4 days moving walls around, trying to get an "appropriate" configuration, and another 3 days trying to get the right 90's feel going. There's a lot of CC, but please don't fret - I can count the amount of CC creators I used on two fingers (and barely that).

And yes, all the cc is in Simlish.

I just thought I'd mention as well that I'm VERY aware about the amount of CC I'm using, and where it comes from (it's written down in a Word document). When it comes time to release this save file, it'll be a very organized event.
