portsim is a small city in the south. it was established as a town in 1752, and the current population is 97,915. it's full of history and has a lot of culture. with increasing poverty rates, gang violence, and a drug epidemic, crime is at an all time high. will the city’s new mayor be able to make portsim a safer place?

4 months in the making and it’s finally here! huge thank you to everyone that’s been following me through the process. ♡ y’all are so kind and supportive and i really appreciate all the love. this was originally going to be a personal save, it’s inspired by my hometown (portsmouth, virginia) most builds are based off real places around me, and some households are based off my friends and family. this is very much still personal to me!

willow creek, newcrest, and magnolia promenade have been rebuilt, repopulated, and transformed into one large town

i own all packs and kits, if you don't you can still play this save but build and cas objects will be missing

21 residential lots / 19 community lots - please read community lot descriptions because most are multi functional! i also left some empty commercial spaces that are “for lease” so i can add things as new packs come out

added new holidays - i changed names to be more realistic and added a few (spring cleaning day, easter, independence day, halloween, christmas eve)

added 5 new clubs (city officials, a gang, a cult, a record label, painting classes by a townie)

i’ve never made a save file before, and this is just the first version. please let me know if you run into any issues. i want to eventually add more households, and i also want to add + rebuild other worlds

i highly suggest turning the eco lifestyle ep’s eco foot print + npc voting off, unless you want the town to look apocalyptic and the trinity church community space to be set to the winter version during summer etc

i turned neighborhood stories off, but sims were still adopting babies and divorcing each other so i kept them all in the my households tab, you don’t have to keep them there!

shoutout to @cowplant-snacks and @nightlioness for letting me use some of their sims as background townies so there's not as many ugly npcs

Medieval Save 2.0 (with CC)

Welcome to my Medieval save for The Sims 4.

I've dedicated a considerable amount of time and effort into crafting it, and the work will continue with more worlds to come. As an enthusiast of this kind of Sims 4 world, I've created something that I myself would eagerly enjoy playing. I wish you a wonderful gaming experience with this save. Don't forget to familiarize yourself with the instructions.

Main Information:

The Love Letter Save by Prxnce (V.1)

after 8 long months, i can finally share the first version of my save file, a true love letter to my childhood.

V.1 Information!

the goal with version 1 was to complete the 3 basegame worlds first! i touched every town and filled the save with familiar faces from previous sims games. there are very complex family trees. sims have skills, relationships, and careers! i wanted to get one version out before growing together was released. so although not every world is perfect, they are certainly playable.

Roadmap

100% complete: willow creek, oasis springs. newcrest, san myshuno, strangerville, tartosa, moonwood mill (doesn’t mean i wont come back to these towns but im not worried about them after this version)

75% complete: windenburg, brindleton bay, evergreen harbor, henford-on-bagley, mt. komorebi, copperdale

50% complete: del sol valley

needs TLC: magnolia promenade, forgotten hollow, sulani, glimmerbrook, brightchester

*im only human! if a household or lot is missing some love or attention let me know in my asks box! i will also take suggestions for townies or lots for future versions of the save*

why?

if you are a long time sims player, you know the sims 4 lacks a lot of depth and personality. i found myself wanting sims 2 and sims 3 sims in my game often, so i met in the middle and combined the storylines of sims 2-4. in this save it is still an alternate timeline (iykyk) but a timeline that is more similar to the ones from previous games. bella goth is missing! the caliente sisters are still up to no good! and the pleasant family should still seek family counseling. i want to give a special thanks to LifeSimmer, who permitted me to use the Fenderson family in this save. i have been playing the sims since i was 9 years old and now 11 years later that family is just as special to my inner sims child as the goth family.

Chrissie’s Corner Save File V1.0

Welcome to version 1.0 of my new Sims 4 save file that’s been in the works for 4+ years now where I’m rebuilding/renovating every single lot & world in the game, as well as adding hundreds of new Sims & giving makeovers to all of the EA townies as well!

So why is this Version 1.0?

Basically, this save has been in the works for over 4 years, since before I even had my YouTube channel! Because of that, I’ve decided to split releases up into “versions” because I keep having to go back & update old Sims, homes & lots as we get new packs. I also tend to “hop around” a lot between worlds & as a result of that, there are a couple of lots/households done in each world already - & with each new version, I’ll update it with 1-2 new worlds that are completely done! With Version 1.0 however, I’ve decided to focus on Willow Creek & Oasis Springs!

What does Version 1.0 include exactly?

Other than a bunch of “random” builds/households done in other worlds, Version 1.0 has Willow Creek & Oasis Springs completely done! That means all new community lots, new/renovated houses for EA townies & a bunch of new Sims that I’ve created & built homes for! There are literally hundreds of NEW Sims throughout the whole save file, & you can see a more detailed breakdown of what’s included in Willow Creek & Oasis Springs down below, as well as some more pictures of each world! I’ve also done a OVERVIEW VIDEO you can watch if you’d like!

How to download & install saves:

Once you’ve downloaded the “Corner Save File” from the link below, follow these steps, or check out this great VIDEO (starting at 15:03) that OshinSims made with instructions!

Make a backup of your Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Saves folder

Download the file, unzip, and place files in Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Saves.

I’ve tried to make sure the save file slot name is pretty high, but if it says you already have a file of that name, change the slot number. You should probably choose something higher. Just make sure you don’t have that slot number already. (Example: change Slot_00000055.save to Slot_00000099.save)

Open your game and enter the save. It's named “Corner Save 1.0”. You’ll see it pop up with my SimSelf as the preview family.

Once you’ve got the save opened, make sure you “save as” and create a new file for your own gameplay. This way you can use the save again without having to redownload.

Now you can play with the Sims I’ve created, or add your own & have fun!

Disclaimers + Optional Mods:

I built this save with the intention of integrating all of the different packs we have, & since I own all of the packs, I’ve used them all. So if you don’t own all of them, you might find that you’re missing some things & I don’t know how well it would work in that case.

I’ve also used a couple of mods! Now these aren’t “necessary” but I would highly recommend them to add a bit more customization & useful gameplay. They’re really small mods too!

Mods I’ve used:

More Selectable Icons mod by @zerbu​ (To add the custom icons that I’ve used for the clubs I created as well as a couple of the holidays I added. These icons can also be used for SimTuber Avatars & Lifestyle Brand logos too!

Venue Changes mod by @zerbu​ (This mod unlocks a lot of the “specialty lots” that came with packs - like the Chalet, Myshuno Gardens, etc - but I used it to allow students to have club gatherings on the High School lot! So a couple of the teen clubs have the High School as their club hangout.)

Another mod I’d HIGHLY recommend is MC Command Center by deaderpool & I used it a lot to do the setup for my save - but it’s not necessary to have it if you want to play with the save!

10 years later - basegame savefile

hello everyone,

today i am sharing something a bit different than usual.

my first savefile using only basegame & no cc.

i have been building on this savefile for over 2 years now. sometimes more, sometimes less frequently. so it's kind of a work in progress still because i don't believe i will ever be 100% happy with it. but i decided to share it with you anyways because there is already a lot to discover and play with in here. many families have backstories and relationships to get you started with some interesting gameplay.

as the title predicts, the stories in this savefile are my imagination of what happens in the lifes of our known townies (and a few new ones) after 10 years. i just realized i could have said 8 years because of how old the sims 4 is by now, but i don't want to go back and change that now.

to make this savefile more fun i decided that everyone can renovate or expand this to their liking and upload their own version as well so we can all get most out of this. if you decide to share your version please use the hashtag #10yearslatersave or tag me so i can check it out.

you can also upload the builds to the gallery if you renovated them. actually do whatever you like with it i just hope you like it and have fun 😊

if you find typos, builds that are not working, relationship settings that i missed or anything like that, please let me know so i can update the savefile in the future. i also want to update the savefile with more worlds from other packs and maybe take some better preview screenshots for this post some day!

anyways, i am happy that i can finally share this with you and really hope you enjoy playing with it, renovate the builds or whatever you like to do!

to install the savefile you only need to unzip the download file and put the .save file in to your saves folder. if you use windows you can probably find that folder here: \Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\saves make sure that no other file in your 'saves' folder has the same name so you don't overwrite any of you existing ones.

Evergreen Save (pt. 1)

This is a minimal CC save file. Part one consists only of townie makeovers. I will also be slowly releasing families one at a time on the gallery, but this will serve as a place to download them all at once. I'm also working on two other versions with builds and extra sims.

All worlds (except Batuu) are included! Everyone has pronouns, likes, dislikes, family dynamics (when applicable) and sexualities! Obviously all of this was my personal opinion and you don't need to agree with anything.

IMPORTANT: I have all packs (except batuu and the pool kit) and most sims use MANY packs. I got most of mine ... 'second hand' though so maybe look into that if you want. Also I'm pretty sure horse ranch was only used for the horse ranch townies so you don't super need that one either.

Most CC included is skin details and other genetic things but there are a few exceptions (in the 'etc' folder). Not everything in the folder is used but the most important ones are the eyelashes the skin blends and the skin tones.

Sapphire: A Collaborative Community Save File

For the longest time I've been wanting to make my own save file. However, I’m a terrible builder and honestly I got bored and overwhelmed trying to make one by myself. I’ve realized I need some help. A lot  of it. So I figured, why not make this a community project?I want to make a fun community save with the help and talents of as many simmers as possible! However, I also have a few other ambitions.

The majority of the time, when people make custom saves, they aren’t very accessible to a large number of simmers. Specifically, those who don’t have just about every pack in the entire game. Oftentimes, people mix packs when redesigning their saves. As a result, those who aren't as fortunate to have every single pack either cannot download them or have to deal with a bunch of naked or half-naked sims walking around their worlds and partially-empty lots. I want this save to be similar to Emily or Baembee’s saves. As a result, there are some rules for lots and households for this save. 

I encourage you all to please submit your amazing creations (I’ll explain below how to do so) so I can compile this save! I’m so excited to look at all your stuff! And everyone whose submissions are included in the save will be credited. I think this can be such a fun project for the community! Even if you’re not interested in submitting, I would appreciate it if you reblogged/reposted it so as many people will participate as possible! 

Rules/Important Info:

Upload your lots/households to the gallery with the hashtag #sapphiresave so I can easily find them. 

No CC. Unfortunately, in order for this save to be at all possible, CC cannot be included. It just would not be feasible. 

As stated previously, similar to Emily and Baembee’s saves, households and lots will be pack-specific. Meaning, Please only use 1 expansion/game pack + base game. For example, if you want your household or lot to be placed in Windenburg, please only use Get Together + base game. The only exception to this rule is hot and cold weather outfits. For those, you may use seasons, base game, + 1 expansion. 

No kits or stuff packs. This rule kind of sucks, especially for building, but stuff packs and kits don’t come with respective worlds. So, there really is no place for them in the context of this save. 

You may upload as many submissions as you like and of any type.  Additionally, if you make a household and build a specific home for that household, please say that in the bio of both so I know to check your profile for the corresponding submission. 

You will be credited if your submission is included in the save. I will include your gallery ID at the end of the description of your lot/household (or you can include it yourself. It will not be taken out). 

I will not be editing your submissions. They will be placed in the save exactly as you made them. The only thing I may do is add backstories/descriptions to households if you do not include your own. This is just for storytelling purposes to make the world as lively as possible. I also may include a lot trait to lots without any. 

Be creative! It is not required, but feel free to include storylines and backstories to your submissions. If you want to upload your sims with skills and careers, feel free to do so! Just keep in mind the pack restrictions. 

I’ll be going through the submissions and choosing lots/households live on my Twitch!

Of course, feel free to post your submissions anywhere you want. Tag/@ me if you do (I only have Tumblr and Youtube though)! This is not a requirement, of course (you don’t have to tag me lol, but I’d appreciate it!)

I know there are a lot of rules and I understand if you choose not to participate as a result. However, I greatly appreciate those who accept the challenge!
