Ruggie who thinks Leona doesn't really care for him but sees him as more of a pawn to use to get to his goals. But he doesn't question it, because as much as he hates to admit it he cares for Leona

He doesn't question the fact that once he graduated from NRC Leona gave him an opportunity to be his right hand man and manages his schedule or his boring paper work

He doesn't question it when Leona asked him to be his best man for his wedding, he even prepared a corny speech to tease Leona

He doesn't question it when Leona and his wife sat him down in their room and requested that he would be their future child's guardian. Protecting them from harm and teaching them whatever he knows

It was only when Leona requested him-- Not his brother. to hold his first born child. The tiny babe's eye tightly shut, asleep-- Ruggie wonder where they got that trait from. Their tiny hand gripping Ruggie's finger with all the strength it could muster. And for the first time Ruggie saw a genuine smile on Leona's face, he patted his back. Praising him for how quickly his child took a liking to him.

That was the moment Ruggie realized how important he was to Leona.

What is this about the tumblr staff wanting to sell art data to midjourney?

An ex-colleague of mine mentioned yesterday that there may be contacts between Automattic and midjourney in that direction, but nothing is public yet and I don't have any more info. They probably won't have anything specific to share either, since they left the company weeks ago too. That being said:

I have no reason to doubt my ex-coworker word, they are a trustworthy person.

Tumblr's CEO has been absurdly enthusiastic (comically, even) about AI, and is a big fan of LLMs and 'AI' companies.

A deal with midjourney could solve tumblr financial issues (not the same company, but openAi is paying up to 5 million/year to news companies to use their content as training data... tumblr generates several orders of magnitude more content than any newspaper or any media company and it only would need a 20 to 30 million per year deal to be profitable)

So I don't have any extra info yet, but I'm keeping my ears open.

i do not remember where i saw this but i really love the idea of moving from "sex work is work" to "sex workers are workers" as the latter makes it clearer that the point is that sex workers are exploited in the same ways we are all exploited & that sex workers need solidarity with other workers, rather than potentially implying that "work" under capitalism is a neutral or even good category of activity and that what sex workers need is to have their exploitation more normalized rather than liberated along non-sex workers whose exploitation is already normal

Twisted Wonderland Theory

There aren't seven major villains, there are eight. Yuu is one of them, she was sent to spy on Crowley by the other seven but something went wrong with the spell and wiped her memory. Their power comes from overblots/blot creatures, which is why the seven keep sending them. They think that if Yuu gets ahold of a blackened sorcerer stone the spell will reverse, which frustrates them further when Grimm keeps eating them.

The only question then, is who is Yuu meant to represent?

okok i can't find the post anymore so im literally going to kms bc it was such a a GOOD IDEA but basically it was this fic idea where Yuu was actually sent by the supervillains, the Seven (+ 1 more, the one Yuu represents) to go and investigate Crowley but the trip there somehow gave them memory loss and now Yuu doesn't remember anything!! and apparently Yuu gets their power from overblot stones so the Seven keep sending overblots to give Yuu the chance to regain their power and memory but unfortunately Grimm keeps eating the stones and pisses them off lol. IT WAS SUCH A GOOD IDEA and then the post ended with: the only question is, who does Yuu represent?

And I was like, oh Chernabog obvi.

like think abt it, that villain is literally THE MOST POWERFUL Disney villain plus nothing can defeat him except church bells and sunlight. since Yuu is a mere vessel, i imagine sunlight and church bells won't have an effect on them, thereby making them literally the most powerful villain vessel out there... they just don't remember shit.

honestly when i first played Twisted Wonderland i was genuinely surprised that Chernabog wasn't one of the big Seven... like he's the most powerful villain ever why not put him in there????

those of u who don't know who Chernabog is... i fear there is no saving u. as for how I know Chernabog exists??? let's just say I read a Disney series as a teenager and some girl was kidnapped by him which led me down a rabbit hole.

also also SOMEONE HELP ME FIND THE POST PLSSSS I WANTED TO GIVE CREDIT BUT I CAN'T REMEMBER THE USER OF WHO POSTED IT

oh also boycott Disney, it's fueling the Palestinian genocide. haven't touched Twisted Wonderland in months due to learning that + I uninstalled it anyway lol.
