I don't really talk about fae in knightformers very much, HOWEVER in my mind bumblebee is an absolute fairy magnet. hes very popular with them, he's even learned some of their language, though he can't speak it. He understands a bit though!

I am absolutely eating up the asks for the au, I would love to hear a little about swindle with fairies👀.

I'm happy to deliver! I feel like Swindle doesn't deal in fairies too much, mainly because they're hard to catch, hard to keep, and hard to find buyers for in this day in age. However, fairies also have a proclivity for finding and enchanting artifacts and weapons, which is something Swindle is always in the market for.

So rather than dealing with the stress of capturing, managing, and eventually finding buyers for multiple fae, Swindle instead focuses his attention on striking a mutually-beneficial deal with a single pixie, offering room, board, and protection in exchange for using their magical attunement to help him track down pricey artifacts. It certainly helps that most fairies don't have the best understanding of equivalent value, as they usually just barter and trade between each other to satisfy their desires.

"Not bad, not bad at all!" He croons, turning the dagger over a couple times in his hands as his fairy stares up at him in anticipation, fluttering their creased and injured wings. It glinted in his hands despite the age, mythril filigree along the handle thrumming with unidentified magic. "Now, what does my sweet pet want in return for a job well done?"

The fairy beams, scampering over to one of the books open on Swindle's work table and pointing frantically at one of the drawings of plants within. Swindle drags the book across the desk to himself, fairy perched eagerly upon the page.

"You want a pomegranate? A whole one, to yourself?"

The fairy nods, even more furiously. A wicked grin creeps its way across Swindle's face.

"You drive a hard bargain, sweetheart! But... I suppose that can be arranged."

I know this is a little strayed from the Mtmte knightformers but if the Jet twins were to meet a fairy how would they act?

Oh they'd be such little menaces. Sentinel would constantly be telling them to stay away from the fairies, that they're purely trouble and the best thing you could do for your own safety is keep them at a distance. But the boys are just too curious for their own good! The loves the faes' penchant for pranks, and their tiny forms and thin, papery wings are just so cute! They definitely try to find fairies whenever Sentinel isn't breathing down their necks.

I think Jetfire is just a teeny bit more nervous about actually interacting with them than Jetstorm is, but he'd fall in love the moment one finally decided to land in his palms. Jetstorm, meanwhile, likes to chatter along to the fairies like he can actually understand their language (he can't) and will often insist upon what a fairy is trying to convey to him and his brother (he's wrong) to hilarious effect.

ok that earthspark Megatron ask got me thinking (not nicki Minaj related LOL). So I know knightformers is more idw inspired but I just can’t help but think about earthspark knightformers Megatron…. I just need an old retired Scottish knight to gently interact with a fairy despite his rough, weathered hands PLEASE

Aww, Earthspark Megatron would be so sweet with the fae! I love ES Megs' and Optimus's dynamic so much, they'd be really cute in Knightformers-verse. I think it'd be especially funny if the fairies preferred Elita over both Megs and Oppy, flocking all around her and tucking flowers in her hair.

"You're both just too gentle with 'em!" She laughs, Optimus and Megatron wearing shared, frustrated grimaces as their outstretched hands are once again ignored in favor of the little fairies flocking around Elita, jingling and tugging on her clothes. "Yeah, they're small, but they're not gonna break. They can tell you're anxious, so they're messing with you."

"Are you suggesting we snatch them from the air like insects, then? " Megatron snarks back. Meanwhile a particular fairy has invented a new game with Optimus, waiting until his hands get closer and closer each time before darting away, bubbling with laughter all the while.

"You just gotta relax and let them come to you. It's not that hard."

"An easy claim when they already favor you, Elita." Optimus added, still struggling with the playful pixie who was actively teasing him. Elita nudged Megatron with her elbow, subtly pointing out that while Optimus was so distracted, there was a fairy who had made themselves comfortable perched atop his head, nestled into his hair. He seemed completely oblivious to the fact, at least until Megatron stifled a snort. "....What is so funny?"

Imagine if Knightformers Megatron found a little fairy napping in his helmet, so he has to wait for them to wake up and leave or gently scoop them into his hands and deposit them into a cushion that can be used as a bed. First Aid would probably experience it with his hat, too.

(I have 8 cats so this scenario is painfully relatable for me. There's literally a cat on my bed right now 💀)

CUUUUUUUUUUUTE!!!! I can see Megatron storing his helmet away up on a shelf when he's not using it, only to take it down one day and find a shower of acorns and dried flowers and cotton fluff pulled straight from the plant. All this time he thought his helm was just sitting there gathering dust, meanwhile it had been turned into a pixie hollow without him even noticing. Very cute, but he does still need his helmet. He knows he shouldn't feel guilty, it's his, after all, but his little companion just look so... so crushed.

So the next day he marches into the woods and comes back with a hunk of firewood, a cross-section of an old tree. He spends the next few days carefully whittling away the inside through a borehole until it's the suitable size and shape for a pixie hideaway, grumbling and scowling the whole while as if this is some monumentally frustrating task and not something he's actively choosing to do. And sure, he may have to find another shelf to store his helm on now, but as he's placing it up on the shelf and the little fairy is just beaming, chirping and cooing and moving in all their precious acorns, he remembers how long it's been since he has done something solely for the benefit of someone else. It feels... Nice.

Aww, thank you! The Jettwins are REALLY fun to write. They have a very specific speech-pattern that's easy to overdo, so it's good to hear that y'all like reading it!

I LOVE the idea of Transformers fancams. If you have THAT much in-universe merchandising there's no way you're escaping without a fancam or two (or a thousand.) I mean, how weird is a fancam, really, when you've got action figures and toys of you out here already?

As for "other" types of toys, hehehehe, I don't think any company would be so bold as to slap the actual Cybertronian's name on any products. But there would certainly be some inspired pieces with very particular color palettes. You can't really get away with naming your sex toy after an actual guy without expecting repercussions, but anyone who's already out there looking for robot-themed toys knows what the deal is with your yellow-and-black dildo with the name 'Stinger.' It basically writes itself, anyway.

OH OKAY that makes so much sense.... Do you think she still wrote that song in the Earthspark universe? Since Transformers are still technically a cultural phenomenon there, but a much more concrete one. I suppose people write songs about real people all the time, or mentioning other celebrities by name.

...Is Megatron a celebrity? Does he count? Do Cybertronians in Earthspark's universe get invited to stuff? Or asked to act in movies? "Hi Jazz I'm such a huge fan of your work (punching big robots) please come to my movie premiere?" Do they get fanmail? I hope they get fanmail.

I have had this dumb and unoriginal take living in my brain. But I am obsessed with Earthspark Megatron. I love evil bad guy turning into awkward uncle so much. Imagine if you just started calling him Nicki and he’s just like 🧐🤨 “how tf do you get Nicki from Megatron??” And you just greet him every time he enters a room like “how was your telethon?” Only for maybe Dot to begrudgingly show him Nicki Minaj and he just feels his spark leave his body.

Him later: “Computer how do i murder a human and make it look like an accident. Fastest route, no traffic.”

This ask actually arrives at the perfect time because I do not FOR THE LIFE OF ME know where the joke of comparing Megatron to Nicki Minaj came from.

And the inverse goes for me as well! I'm super excited to talk about /reader stuff, but the canon character shipping is definitely more Archie's domain!

Sometimes I consult with Archie about "lore", but it's pretty fast and loose and it's mainly so we can just geek out about medieval settings. If you've got /reader ideas I'll gladly chomp 'em up, and any canon shipping you can send over Archie's way!

Regarding the knightformers au:

You guys can do whatever you like with it- I don’t want to lay out a set canon for it, the designs are out there for you guys to work with (WITH CREDIT) however I personally won’t be working much with /reader or fae stuff as that is pink’s wheelhouse and I prefer working with the canon characters.

All this to say, if you ask me stuff pertaining to fae in knightformers, you may get a different answer than you would from pink, because I am not as invested in that side of the au as she is :)

I rather like your take on Megatron and the Fae, to share a thought for all the people who want him to have his own little fairy I think a really cute idea for him getting a fairy friend might be like.

There's a little fairy in the garden who was made? Born? there and hasn't known any place else, so hasn't left even after they've grown but because their particular family group moved in back when the castle was abandoned and completely in ruin they're still very much learning to live with all the noise and sudden influx of Knights now living there and wanting to get to know the very shy fairy.

Rodimus in particular they avoid like the plague because of his grabby hands and one day well running from said knight they end up taking shelter on a bigger knights shoulder they hadn't properly gotten a good look at and instead are using him basically like a big tree.

Megatron is stunned to be used as a sanctuary of all things, Rodimus is shocked to be avoided to this extent but decides he can use this to his advantage to try and 'save' the fairy who he expects to freak out as soon as they notice who they're hiding on.

But instead gets a tirade of little bell chimes from the fairy still really not liking being touched or held without express permission. This then prompts Megatron to shoo off and tell off Rodimus for grabbing at the fae AGAIN and that if he keeps this up he's going to end up with a nasty hex he can't just wait out or have Ratchet fix.

Rodimus leave pouty and Megatron expects the fairy to bolt if they haven't already but he finds them just sitting there cautious but curious before leaving him with a light blessing in thanks for the help before quickly flying off.

He'll see that fairy plenty more as it's the only one that ever stays within his visual range and eventually will get so confident it starts leaving him pretty little nature gifts like tiny flowers and snail shells until eventually he has a tiny desk buddy who keeps him company well he works.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH That's such a cute idea! Megatron protecting a fairy just by circumstance only for them to end up getting attached to him is so sweet.

"Careful now." Megatron's hand comes up to catch the fairy as they're pushing his inkwell across the table, closer to his hand. The pot teeters dangerously but doesn't spill as he scoops the small pixie out of harm's way. They pout, arms folded, face scrunched in frustration, and Megatron can't help the small smile that sneaks onto his face. "Thank you. Much easier to reach."

Immediately the fairy beams, shooting up from his hand to fly a few circles around his head before alighting on his shoulder, legs dangling as they start brushing their fingers through the hair tucked behind his ear. He can hear their absentminded humming in between the skritch-skritch of his quill against parchment, and for just a moment, Megatron feels at peace.
