This is from a very old fic I wrote about Wilbur. It was originally intended to be a story for The Playground, but it was scrapped. I still have the story, and I don't know if I'll ever publicize it, as it would need to be fixed and revised HEAVILY. Still, I wanted to draw this in tribute. You can even ask me about it, if you'd like.

I dunno I just needed an excuse to throw shit on a canvas and play around with the colors.

I was listening to the entirety of Vylet Pony's album "Monarch of Monsters" while drawing this, so now I can't not associate Neil with those songs (particularly "Pest" and "PLAY DEAD! PLAY DEAD!"). As if my characterization of Neil couldn't get any more depressing lol.

I'm not gonna link the album because it's genuinely devastating and even disturbing, and it deals with VERY heavy themes. Look it up only if you're of sound mind. (I believe it's on YouTube, Bandcamp, and Spotify.)
