something i love about stobotnik is that im actually so okay with it not being like. romantic in canon. while i am very partial to romantic and/or sexual stobotnik, what really matters to me is that they care about each other. i do not care if theyre friends or boyfriends or something else entirely, they care about each other more than anyone or anything else in the world and separating them is the worst thing ever. their relationship, whatever it may be, saved the world and the evidence of that is gonna be right there in the sky for the world to see for a long time.

i unironically think that the resurgence of mustache culture has brought about a male slut era that is in many ways still in its infancy but is growing day by day. hemlines are getting shorter, chest hair is growing back, tops are cropped. gone are the dark, dark days when the sluttiest thing a man could do was roll up the sleeves of his button up office shirt. we are returning to the light of mustache rides and teeny tiny swim shorts. amen.

Thunderbolts hasn’t made NEAR the amount as what some of these other films have made and it’s because people expect it to be shit when in reality it’s actually very well made and uses a lot more practical effects.

what nobody tells you about transition is the totality of it. once you dig into gender and start expressing the way you want, you'll start to find the marks of discomfort littered around the rest of your life. you'll notice how you were never living for yourself, just following the guidelines laid out for you.

as soon as you disengage that autopilot, you're on your own. you have to decide what is actually best for you. you have to question every decision you've ever made because they were all made by someone trying to play by the rules, rules whose application will kill you.

in the year-and-change since starting my transition, I have completely changed everything about my presentation, I changed how I talk, how I carry myself, how I interact with people. I changed the company I keep, I moved cities, I abandoned a career path I had been pursuing my entire life. I lost friends, made new ones, started engaging with types of media I had never been interested in before.

there's a life on the other side of transition, and you have to claw it back piece by piece. I will never stop transitioning into who I'm supposed to be because every time I get closer, I realize there's more I still need to change.
