before modern surgical and chemical abortion methods were pioneered, one older method of abortion was sticking a foreign object (such as bark) into the vaginal cavity and leaving it there until it caused an infection that hopefully aborted the pregnancy. this often resolute in complications such as sepsis, permanent reproductive harm and death for the individual seeking the abortion. that is why people saying things like “well, they had abortion back then too” on my post about historical infanticide is irritating me. they did. the abortion methods were often horrendously dangerous or ineffective. limiting abortion access only limits safe abortions.

The fact that Bob's first priority is always to protect others but it almost got beat out of him by his parents. His first instinct was to protect his mother from his father but he was told he was making things worse 😭

It's why he wanted to go for the serum in the first place - to prove that he was something more. He tells Yelena that the serum was supposed to make him better which means he could help her and he tries to help throughout the whole escape from the vault. It's why he sacrifices himself for the others to get away.

Even after he's finally told he can do anything by Valentina (ughhhhh) he still tells the group that he doesn't want to hurt them and chooses to not kill any of them even when ordered to do so. He only fights when they attack him, he literally stands in one spot because he doesn't want to fight them. He just throws them to the side and lets them all leave.

In the Void, he tries to protect Yelena, he stands up to the Void when he sees Yelena get hurt and even the Void mocks him for trying to be "Robert the hero"...

Do you still want Alexei headcanons? I'm gonna give you one anyway. When Alexei gets pulled over (and it happens too often despite him being an actually good driver during important situations) he would pull out the David Harbour voice to get himself out if trouble (and it works 95% of the time so he keeps doing it). It freaks out everyone in the car with him (except Yelena) because he does it so casually and switches back like it was nothing.

Alexei has a shockingly convincing american accent, and he has a stronger russian accent when he’s speaking in russian, but when he’s speaking english it’s kind of a middle ground. he had to fake that accent for three years so it kinda seemed into his dialogue

This came to be out of nowhere (so it's kinda a headcanon) but if Alexei and John ever came across a lost kid they would inadvertently become lost kids themselves, suddenly not sure where they are and where they were going and probably panicking. At least until one of them remembers that they're full grown adults with cellphones. They swore each other to secrecy because even they know this is a dumb thing to lose their minds over.

The lost kid would also be so entertained by their stupidity that he's now a big fan (simply because I say so) especially when they do eventually help him find his parents

Alexei has no sense of direction. He could get lost in a grocery store parking lot.
