Hyperfixations a thing, and I’m so guilty of it lol.

Currently my new obsession has been sewing. What better way to scratch the itch thank get into it: watch a bunch of tutorials, buy a machine, than start off making a bag.

First project and it’s not only a lot of pockets, but outer materials ultra thin and sorta on the silky side, decided to try something that also includes a zipper and a button. Towards the very end I decided to add a wrist band.

If you’re gunna go out, might as well attempt all out haha. Overall I think it turned out decent considering I don’t have an iron to press seams. 🙈

Whooooo. Got my art area semi-set up from the move and found some time to digitalize my sushi art. I really liked seeing the series come together. Do you have a favorite one from the series? I like the tempura one best I think.

Flown to Ga.

Driven over 10+ hours to IL, M0, and Fl.

Been packing for a move that’s on Sunday.

Busy is an understatement. Sadly I’ve not had time for rendering anything past sketches.

I decided to start learning Japanese. And of course, hyper fixation is such a real thing lol! Just now I have got around to adding color to my bouquet piece. Even Rocketman demands my attention. = ^ ^ =

Might not seam active but I’ve actually been super busy working on some fun botanical/bouquet and Hawaii art.

Not rly finalized coloring yet but I’ve been working a new approach to improve my line art by sketching complete drawings first. I think it’s helped to speed my digitalizing ink process too, so I might keep trying this. Normally I used to do everything off the tablet, including sketches.

What do y’all think? I changed up my flowers accordingly here and there but overall comp I feel still heavily shows sketch. 😄

Got super busy w life events and now my arts been on hold. I’ve only had time to make sketches from the trip since I’ve been back - hoping next week I’ll be able to get around to digitalizing some of them, maaaaybe.

Let’s just say, a tree unexpectedly fell on my house and dealing w insurance and repairs. 😬🫣🥹 >.>.

Back from Hawaii, family trip! I’m looking fwd to drawing inspired art from the beach trip soon, but until then, I’ll be posting some side art I had worked on right before the trip. First up, a short butterfly series I did that I hope to make into stickers someday.

Strawberry cake , #5 in the series. Had fun coloring the swirl and strawberries.✨🍓 5/6

Another lemon dessert, #4 in the series. I had worked hard to make the filling look appetizing and tried to give it that bouncy jello like look. The lemon zest was a last minute add on and pulled from my earlier first piece. I think including it really helps highlight the aesthetic and quite glad I did. Struggled at first w figuring out how to color the light inner white area, but decided on subtle shadow splotches. I also I think I like how this rendering turned out compared to the first lemon one, maybe bc it’s got some more in the design contrast✨🍋 4/6

Sooooo I just learned you can create shortcuts on your phone for apps and custom add images…. Excuse me while I doodle custom art for the next week to turn my phone pastel XD

Been feeling under the weather lately. I wish I could materialize my cookies, I’m sure that would make me feel better. I realized my initial line art was too flat when a friend asked it it was supposed to be a box of stickers too hah 😜 but all is fixed now lol, especially once I added color to the work.
