Hey, Jewel is the default skin I've used since I started playing in 2020 (I checked out a dozen or so in CAS and liked it the best!), so I'm super glad to see it updated for infants. Two questions, though (2nd will be in another ask). First, they updated newborns to use true skin colors also and I'm not super fond of how they look. Would you consider adding Jewel to newborns also? If you're not sure how to find out whether it's possible and how to do it, I can look into that for you.

Hi there! First off, thanks for using my skinblend! I'm glad to hear people are still enjoying it even after all this time.

I'd be happy to release a newborn version of Jewel. I'd just need to look into how to actually go about making it. The infant update was the first time I'd opened up S4S in around 3 years, so to say I'm rusty is an understatement! I'm not a big fan of the vanilla newborn skin either, and I currently use this replacement by purplebex.

Regarding your second question, I do still have the original textures so updating the t-e skins to the LRLE format is certainly possible. Again, I'd just need to look into it and figure out how.

My Jewel default skinblend is now available for infants!

As with the original, it comes in three different flavours:

“No Shine” - just the base skin, with a nice matte nose!

“Shine” + “Glow Shine” - additional nose shine variants.

Good news! I ✨may✨ have managed to fix my skin default for infants! 🙌

I say this with some trepidation as it’s been 3+ years since I even so much as glanced at S4S and I’m extremely rusty. I’ve been fiddling around with the textures and it seems to be working okay. Currently testing.
