WAIT i also want a polin au where the featherington sisters have a close relationship, maybe because they all understand what it means to be all daughters of a less than popular barony. With a neglectful dad and a mom putting pressure on all of them, they turn to each other to confide their worries and stuff. It’s just an overall sweet relationship. They don’t show affection in public, since their Mama tells them it was unbecoming to show affection in public. Portia loves her daughters very much, she just has some issues regarding showing affection.

They all probably figured out that Pen is LW, with their relationship being so close, it was easy to figure out who LW is. They didn’t confront or stop her, mostly because they saw how much pride and fun Pen is having with it.

Prudence and Philippa, as the two oldest, dotes on and are protective of Pen (Felicity too if we wanted), because they understand that Pen loves deeply. They can see it through her actions, her kindness and her people pleasing (i.e. her relationship with Eloise). That’s why they’re so concerned when they noticed how much Pen adores Colin, and subtly discourage her from holding those feelings. They know the Bridgertons are bad news to them. They all might be part of the Ton, but they’re different compared to their families.

Prudence always watches Pen and Colin like a hawk, which is kind of why she’s not really married yet. She wants to make sure that Colin doesn’t do any funny business to Pen. So when Pen confesses about what she heard Colin say at their ball and (and also confesses about Eloise and the LW business), Prudence was livid. Was about to march into Bridgerton house and everything. But Philippa, the voice of reason, points out that they don’t have any power compared to the Bridgertons. So Prudence doesn’t and instead starts scheming on how to best protect their little sister.

They also say little lies to Portia, just so Pen can finally wear what she likes. Portia finally gives their opinions some value, since they’re married women at this point. They know Pen hates her clothes, and finally not being under their mother’s thumb, they can finally help Pen in some way.

Anyway, the next season, Pru and Pip finally decides to show just how close they are. Finally married (and recruiting their husbands into being protective of Pen), they do everything they can to run interference whenever Pen is about to have some time with Eloise and Colin.

What they don’t realize, is that Pen is also greatly adored by the Bridgertons, and so clearly wished and expected Pen to join them soon (once Colin pulls his head out of ass LMAO) so they also try to interfere when Pru and Pip tries to take Pen out of talking with Colin.

Honestly, i just want a Prudence and Anthony stand off as both the eldest Featherington sibling and the eldest Bridgerton sibling. I think it would be funny.

I’m obsessed with Korean RomFan manwhas so have a Polin Isekai AU where 21st girlboss but also a bit of a girlfailure Penelope gets reincarnated into the last cheesy romance novel series she read as the sneaky and villainous Lady Whistledown, the biggest Gossip Monger of the “Ton”

Now she has to figure out ways how not to die in the hands of the queen, making money to get out of her Isekai Mother’s thumb, and avoiding the famous Bridgerton family, the main characters of the series, Lady Whistledown’s biggest source of entertainment and now, Penelope’s biggest challenge into living a peaceful and quiet life.

But why the heck was the third Bridgerton son not leaving her alone?

More show canon than book canon lol.

Anyway, I’m changing the Bridgertons into a Marquess Family, because that has more power lol.

Pen is still childhood friends with the Bridgertons, despite her family literally a dying Baroncy. Her Isekai dad is dead, her mother is still overspending, and her sisters are still kinda airheads.

OG! Pen still likes Colin, and 21st Century Pen also did declare that Colin is her fictional Boyfriend, so she does still have feelings for him but because she knows how the story goes, she will try to ignore those feelings to be able to live long enough and escape to the country, where she’ll live peacefully with Whistledown Money.

Since the book series in this AU is written from the POVs of Bridgertons, part of Eloise’s story is that she discovers OG! Pen as Whistledown, and as the protag, of course Eloise “will do the right thing” and that’s how El tells the Queen that OG! Pen is LW. That’s how OG! Pen dies and El’s story is framed as a proponent of Women’s rights to their decisions. 21st century Pen really liked El’s story, but after discovering stuff about OG! Pen, she realizes that there’s more to her than she knew.

El probably told the Bridgertons about Whistledown, so they start scheming on how to bring her down. Colin is probs one of the most involved because he had a grudge on LW for something she wrote about him (idk maybe the Marina scandal and how he was humiliated by her). Maybe in his story, he and Marina got back together after OG! Pen’s death, and him and his heroics and grand declaration of love made 21st century Pen have affection for him.

But now, with everything she knows, 21st century Pen wants to get as far away from the Bridgertons as possible.

She does didn’t consider how attached Eloise is with OG! Pen, and that El mostly treated OG! Pen as a side kick. She also never considered that Colin and Pen were actually quite close, so close that OG! Pen’s feelings were deeper than a crush. And that Colin is one persistent motherfucker, who before the whole Marina debacle, seemed to have a protective (and kinda possessive) streak over Pen.

The plot twist to this: OG! Pen and 21st Century Pen are the same people, and this life is actually her third life where she tries to live “correctly”

Anyways, if this ever gets turned into a fanfic, this will be mostly a romance-comedy, not necessarily a romcom, with bits of angst mostly because of OG! Pen’s real life that we weren’t privy to because the series was told from the Bridgertons POV.

Now that I've gotten a view of Colin's physique I now want to see him pick Penelope up at some point.

Ideally when they're getting handsy. Colin wants to move Penelope to the bedroom or a comfortable surface but also doesn't want to stop kissing her so he doesn't. Instead he picks her up and begins carrying her. Penelope is shocked and tries telling Colin to put her down she's too heavy! Colin doesn't care he just wants to keep kissing his wife and he's not struggling to carry her?

Colin's response is to pout while she's talking, still carrying her, and then gets a mischevious idea. He starts nibbling along Penelope's breasts. Leaving love marks behind and smirking as Penelope's words die down into moans. See Pen he can multitask, carrying and pleasuring you at the same time is no hardship.
