The Ascendant

Now, as Lorenzo is the older twin to Camila, and Camila's placements have been analysed, we want to focus more on degree theory, than placements.

Lorenzo is ten minutes older than Camila, there are not many differences in their birth charts. In fact, there are only three; the degrees for the Ascendant, Sun and Moon.

This means that Lorenzo and Camila are going to have different flares in their personality, due to the degree their Ascendant, Sun and Moon is placed at.

Scorpio Ascendant

Let's quickly break down what a Scorpio Ascendant is characterised by.

Scorpio is water in element, Lorenzo will have deep emotional intelligence. He will be intuitive and all knowing, however will come across as cold and intimidating. He will have strong aura that will attract and dispel people, either coming across as magnetising or formidable.

Trust is a deep rooted issue within Scorpio, as is jealousy and grudges. Lorenzo will not trust easily and this will show in his first impressions, trying to learn the other party before giving away his personal identity. This, takes time, and if you fuck it up once, you can expect to never hear from Lorenzo again.

I find Scorpio similar to the earth signs of Taurus and Capricorn, however with a higher emotional understanding. They are cold, straight forward and monotone, although Scorpio can read emotional behaviours like a book, and will be the first in the room to sense a change in atmosphere.

Physically (depending on degree), Lorenzo is likely to be slim, tall, with dark features (Eyes, hair, clothing, skin to a degree (more based off genetics)). His cheek bones and jawline will be sharp, and his eyes, though hooded, will pierce through like a thousand knives at once.

Despite seeming so formidable, Lorenzo will have a softness, thanks to his emotional intelligence. He will likely be scared to show his vulnerability and will likely search for people that understand how slow he is to trust and why he is so secretive and withdrawn. Scorpio's are just misunderstood racoons, I promise.

Ascendant at 15°

The fifteenth degree is a Gemini Degree.

Camila's Ascendant is on the sixteenth degree, a Cancer Degree.

Lorenzo's Ascendent is therefore influenced by Scorpio/Pluto (Placement/Chart Ruler) and Gemini/Mercury (Degree).

A typical Scorpio Ascendant will be tall and lanky, with hooded eyes and a sleek jawline/cheekbones. They can be intimidating in both a threatening and arousing sense, it really depends on how a person reads their aura. These signs are the most common of a Scorpio Ascendant and are intensified if the Ascendant is in a Scorpio Degree (8°, 19°).

However, Lorenzo has Gemini influences. He will likely be slender with a slim build, talks with his hands, oval or diamond face structure with a pointy chin, or look youthful, energetic and bouncy.

It also invites the playful side of Gemini to show in first impression. Lorenzo will likely have the intimidating and magnetising aura, but might open his mouth and sound like a golden retriever and relax the intensity of his formidable vibes.

Mercury will play a part here (especially if aspecting the ascendant), Lorenzo might act aloof in his communication when first meeting someone, although will still have an aura that makes you question if he being entirely truthful.

Lorenzo will still be secretive and mysterious, it just won't be as prominent with funny and over-the-top Gemini giving energy. However, Gemini also has flaws, Ren might be viewed as flaky and two-faced, not appearing to be the same person with each person he interacts with.

Lorenzo might also harbour Gemini characteristics in his identity. He will have an enthusiasm for information and communication, but could be cunning and sly in his approach. He will likely have a sense for adventure and won't enjoy anything mundane or boring.

As with all placements, aspects are crucial. What I think is important to look for in Lorenzo's chart is how he is processing his emotions, being that reading emotional characteristics is part of his identity.

The Moon and Mars is important with this, as it will determine whether Lorenzo bottles up his emotions, or feels them. I say this, because I have noticed that Scorpio Ascendants have the tendency to bottle their emotions if aspected negatively.

Gemini won't aid this if aspected negatively. Being air in nature, Gemini is nervous and has the tendency to overthink and stress about minor situations.

4H Capricorn

The fourth house controls home, ancestry and traditions.

Empty houses in a birth chart do not mean anything bad, it just means that particular house is not a big focus in the natives charts. On average, people will have 3-5 empty houses, Draco has five!

The best way to read an empty house, is to look to the house ruler. We'll get to that shortly.

With Capricorn over the fourth house, Draco is likely to have a deep level of patience and discipline that can lead to long-lasting relationships, whether emotional; or familial. He will be dedicated and committed to the bonds he forms with others, and his practical approach to his health will lead to good physical well-being.

Although, Draco might have the tendency to focus too much on the future, and not enough on the present. Capricorn future-orientated and prepared, this can lead to a lack of enjoyment in the present moment, with the proneness to struggle with allowing emotional expression.

As mentioned in an earlier post, Capricorn, in the nicest way possible, is the boss bitch of the astrological system, and they want shit done. Capricorn has a no bullshit policy and will stand their ground. This, will also apply in the fourth house.

It is likely that Draco comes from a family/home that holds very high expectations and ideals, that Draco needs to uphold. Capricorn is strict, focused and wants results, Draco might find that his family and expectations are hard to manage or fulfil, taking into consideration of his moon placement (This will come in the next part).

Draco is someone that needs support to allow his mental health to function properly. A strict and demanding home-life doesn't support this, it forces Draco to be someone he is not or adhere to the pressures set by his family. And while Draco might understand these expectations to begin with, it is likely he will realise sooner rather than later that he struggles to uphold the standards set within the family.

Where is Saturn?

Therefore, Mx Karma Boss Bitch Saturn is the Lord of the fourth, as it is the ruler of Capricorn, however resides in the eleventh house. So what does this mean?

With Saturn bringing energy into the fourth, I am inclined to believe there could be generational family traditions and curses that Draco needs to break, and he needs to use the guidance and help of his friendship and connections to community.

We all know that Draco comes from a pretty harsh home environment, and that he does manage to change his morals and belief system. But I ask you, how, does he do this?

The fourth house is empty, leaving Saturn with a lot of control over the house. Saturn wants Draco to break cycle and be disciplined with his boundaries regarding his family, traditions and emotions, and as it resides in the eleventh, the best way for Draco to do this is to rely on his peers.

Out-source information away from the family and gain a different perspective by creating meaningful connections. Allow himself to be emotionally vulnerable with those he trusts outside of the family. To indulge in community that might differ from his family traditions.

If Draco doesn't release himself from the negative karmic chains of the fourth house, it will affect his mental health negatively, as well as his friendships, hopes and connections to the community. Draco must be able to set boundaries with his emotions and family, as he will likely only receive negative karma to this aspect of his life.

3H Sagittarius

The third house controls communication, siblings and mental processing.

Draco is one optimistic kid.

Sagittarius is adventurous, optimist and life-long students, Draco is going to love finding new information, and providing/spreading information. He is adaptable and will likely excel in areas that require communication, learning and adaptability such as marketing or teaching.

It is probable that Draco is going to be on a long-life search for answers, wanting to broaden his horizons and perspective. Sagittarius brings philosophical energy, open-mindedness, and the ability to see the big-picture, allowing Draco to create connections between contrasting information, leading to innovative solutions and insights.

Yet, as with all placements, there are some negatives. Draco might find routine mundane and soul-draining, desiring his thirst for knowledge and adventure over the qualms of everyday life. He might struggle with completing tasks that require meticulous planning and attention to detail, as he prefer to focus on the big picture. It is important Draco learns to balance his desire for freedom and adventure with a practical approach to life.

Draco, is going to have a knack for making friends.

This isn't the case when trying to befriend Harry, but as mentioned, Draco can be overly blunt, and to stick on theme, Draco was incredibly blunt when meeting Harry. Harry, clearly didn't appreciate this.

In another perspective though, Draco's adventurous and fun-loving approach to life will likely aid him in creating connections, and Jupiter's energies from the eleventh will only enhance this. It's probable that Draco is going to be a popular kid and will be generally liked by his peers, but his blunt communication might be his downfall.

3H Sagittarius Neptune

The second house represents self-worth, assets, finances and materialistic possessions.

With Scorpio over the second, Draco is likely to build a robust sense of self worth and financial security, by using the intense and deep qualities Scorpio provides. The emotional depth of Scorpio can aid Draco in discovering deeply-held personal values, which will lead him into gaining profound self-understanding and self-resilience.

Alongside this, Scorpio's transformative energy can convert material wealth Draco has, into a building block for personal evolution. Although, Draco might struggle with obsessiveness or over-analysis of finances, personal values and material assets. The desire for deeper probing might result in unnecessary complications regarding financial matters.

Another problem arises with the fact that the second house needs to operate with logic and practically, however under emotional Scorpio, Draco might struggle with deciding between emotional wants to practical needs.

The second house control finances, self-worth and materialistic possessions, while Pluto, being the dawrf planet of transformations sits with the first house of identity.

This brings a positive outlook on money, Scorpio and Pluto in constant communication to establish self-worth and financial security. Draco's identity might be linked to his financial situation.

This also suggests that Draco's finances and material assets are interchangeable and go through regular transformative cycles. This can be good and bad for the second house, depending how Draco goes with decision making regarding money.

Within astrology, there is a belief that 18° and 22° are the 'evil' degrees. To kill, or to be killed? That is the question.

Though there is so much yelling about how bad the 22° is, it is not all bad. I argue that the fifteenth degree (assassinations and killings) is just as bad - the only difference is that it is not a critical degree like the twenty-second.

The twenty second degree can indicate the loss of loved ones with life-long grief, this is seen in Prince Harry's natal chart with his Virgo Sun at 22°. It is also noted that is degree is present in multiple celebrity death transit charts.

But it does not inherently mean you will be killed or that you will kill.

How I read this for Draco, is that he could be connected to a death, that is part of a revolution, which might directly effect his self-worth, values and finances.

We know the above to be somewhat true, Draco is connected to a high profile "assassination" (bro was already dying) where the victim was the leader of the opposition. What we don't know in canon, is whether this affected his self-worth and finances.

Brining in the Capricorn energy, Draco is likely to be more serious in his approach for radical societal change, the earth energy helping settle the emotional water energy.

Capricorn, in the nicest way possible, is the boss bitch of the astrological system, and they want shit done. Capricorn has a no bullshit policy and will stand their ground, this energy allowing Draco to demand change with a bit of an edge.

The second house will enjoy this energy coming from the degree, as Capricorn thinks logically, rather than emotionally like Scorpio. This might aid Draco in making the correct decision regarding financial and self-value aspects.

Uranus in Retrograde (Rx)

When a planet is in retrograde in natal chart, it's energies are expressed inwardly, rather than outwardly.

One thing to remember is that Uranus is a very slow moving planet, and can take just under six months to complete a retrograde cycle. There are many people born with Uranus in retrograde, so looking at degrees, house placement and aspects is incredibly important.

Being a generational planet and not a personal planet, the effects of a natal retrograde is not as strong of that a personal planet, like Mercury. If Uranus is aspecting a personal planet in Draco's chart (it is), then the retrograde effects will be felt.

Draco will likely have a deep rooted desire for freedom, whether this is away from the shackles of his finances, or the expectations he has set for himself through his self-worth and values. Draco might not be trapped by things in reality, however the responsibility of maintaining his financial reputation or his self-worth might eclipses what is actually happening.

Uranus wants Draco to find a way to express himself and break away from conforming to the connections he has through money. If positively aspected, Draco will find he will have high levels of self-individualisation, and can break away from conforming to the things that time him down.

However, if negatively aspected, it is likely Draco will encounter anger induced outbursts of brilliance, but will fail to find a way to prosper this expression in material reality. It is probable that Draco needs to spend considerable amount of time and energy, coming to terms with his need for individuality and freedom.

1H Libra Ascendant

The ascendant is very important in astrology, as it determines how the houses are set on the natal chart. This is determined by your time and place of birth.

The Ascendant is your physical appearance, your first impression on people and your identity (not to be confused with personality).

I mentioned earlier in Draco's master list, that I found a time/ascendant that I believe fits Draco most. I feel Libra matches him well, he is perceived as charming, vain and intelligent, to the general school public anyway.

With a Libra Ascendant, Draco is very charming from first impression. He is seen as knowledgable, intelligent, well mannered and a little restless.

Venus is the ruler of Libra which greatly aids Draco's appearance. As Venus is the planet of love and beauty, most would agree that he is handsome, charismatic, attractive and has a great sense of style.

Draco's facial structure will likely be symmetrical with full cheeks, almond shaped eyes, an attractive smile and great hair. His aura will be enticing and depending aspects and other placements, his overall personality could aid to his appearance.

Remember, depending the degree of the Ascendant, Draco may have differing physical appearances from the above.

Harry wasn't fazed by Draco's charming exterior, he could see past that and actually listen to and watch how Draco speaks and behaves. This would come down to aspects to the ascendant and Draco's Mercury placement.

Draco will likely be tall with strength, clean shaven always neatly dressed. He knows he's attractive and he's owning it. This can come across as being vain and egotistical, and may turn people off.

Under Libra, Draco will have a focus on law, justice and truth. He will search for peace and look to bring justice and vindication for those who mean most to him. He is loyal to those who are loyal to him.

He cares deeply about people and wants the best for everyone, however can have selfish tendencies. We see this during the aftermath of Katie Bell being cursed where Draco begins to show signs of empathy, guilt and sadness.

Where is Venus?

Venus is in the 9H. Why do we need to know this?

Each house has a Lord, depending the sign that is over the house. It doesn't matter if there are any planets within the house, the house Lord essentially communicates from the house they are in and brings energy across from their house.

Therefore, Love Bug Venus is the Lord of the First, as it is the ruler of Libra, however, is in the 9H. So, what does this mean?

With Libra in the first house of representing self, appearance and impressions and Venus the planet of love and beauty in the 9H of travel, higher education, foreign affairs and spirituality, Draco will have a heavy focus on international travel and affairs, as well as education.

The Ascendant is your identity, with Venus communicating to Libra from the 9H, Draco is going to heavily identify with foreign cultures, religion/spirituality and education.

This indicates that Draco may even study or live abroad, finding that discovering different cultures and knowledge will help him find peace.

Chart Ruler

As Libra is the Ascendant, this means Venus is the chart ruler. Where Venus is placed and its aspects will have a greater impact on Draco's life than other placements.

While the Chart Ruler is a prominent factor in a chart, you must always acknowledge and consider your dominant planet as well. In example, Pluto is the ruler of my Chart, however I am Uranus Dominant, meaning Uranus has more impact on my chart than Pluto. This can be checked on astro.com.

What makes this easy, is that Venus is so, influential in Draco's chart, it is the Chart Ruler and the Dominant Planet of his chart. We will go through Venus a bit later, but for now remember, anything Venus is connected to on Draco's chart, is being heavily influenced. This will be prominent when we go through aspects.

Placements

1H Libra Pluto

This placement... Hits close to home. It's not an easy placement by any means, but it can also be beautiful and soul renewing.

Pluto, represents destruction (death), transformations and rebirth (renewal).

Being a generational dwarf planet, the characteristics of the overhead sign is seen in many people, as Pluto can take 10-20 years to transit through a sign. The degree, house placement and aspects is what you should be looking for in terms of a personal scale, while using the corresponding natal sign to direct you.

With Pluto in Libra, Draco will be driven by a deep desire for balance and harmony, which will play a part in his transformation processes. With Libra overhead, Pluto wants Draco to learn to balance his desire for peace, to create personal authenticity.

Pluto in Libra suggests that the native is here to bring harmony and unity, removing injustices from the world. Draco might be sensitive global injustice, and as Pluto resides in the first, he can be seen as proactive protester that can understand each sides perspective.

However, Libra is airy, indecisive and flaky. Unlike its air counterpart Aquarius, Pluto Libra needs to do things independently. Being able to see all sides to a situation, Draco is likely to handle things independently, although will have the tendency to take his time coming to a solution, unable to choose which answer is the best option.

Having Pluto in the first house is not an easy placement. As someone with this placement, the easiest way I can describe it, is that it feels like a constant mindset of "death to self" - but not in a mental health aspect.

You are constantly rebranding yourself, which makes it hard to have a sense of identity. Draco is likely going to face challenges of reaffirming his identity and allowing himself to transformation when necessary. The old Draco is not same person as the present Draco, nor is the future Draco. They can be wildly different persons or they can be similar with a few changes.

Aspects to Pluto are very important (in any sense), as this will only amplify to the transformation of one's self. If Draco has negative aspects, he will likely find it difficult to transform and rebrand himself, especially with picky Libra overhead. If positive, Draco may have an easier time understanding his identity.

Because there is a constant confusion on identity and the consistent transformation cycles a native will go through, there is a likelihood that this brings on anxiety, depression, identity crisis's and fear of public judgement.

As Pluto sits in the first, we can also expect minor Scorpio characteristics in his appearance. This can range from the tall, slim posture, defined cheekbones and piercing hooded eyes that cremate your soul, or the dark coloured accents that scream Scorpio (hair, eyes, clothing, voice).

The aura of Scorpio may also come through, people may perceive Draco as intimidating, magnetic and intense. He might have the tendency to draw people in with this aura (especially if his Venusy Libra qualities are hardcore (they are)), or the opposite will happen and he will scare people with intimidation.

Degrees

Ascendant at 15°

Along this journey, you are going to realise very quickly, that Draco's chart is very Air heavy.

The fifteenth degree is a Gemini degree.

This means that the Ascendant has influences from Libra/Venus (Placement/Chart Ruler) and Gemini/Mercury (Degree).

My mans is going to look like an aloof jock in first impressions.

There is a lot of Libra/Venus energy already, but adding more air into the mix with Gemini only adds more spice. Libra being charming, knowledgeable and charismatic, will be aided by Gemini's fun-loving, information seeking and not stop talking characteristics.

Draco is likely to be viewed as someone who is charming and intelligent, but an everyday person that just wants to have fun and a bit of a laugh.

Inviting Gemini qualities in, Draco might be slender with a slim build, talking with hands, oval or diamond face structure with a pointy chin, or youthful, energetic and bouncy.

Now, what I find curious, is that the fifteenth degree indicates assassinations or killings. Being that this is the first house, Draco might be known for being tied to killing/assassinating someone, or being assassinated.

What I find ironic with the above, is that we know this to be true, Draco being ordered to assassinate Albus Dumbledore at the start of the sixth years.

Pluto at 19°

The nineteenth degree is a Virgo degree

This means Pluto has influences from Libra/Venus (House Ruler/Placement) and Virgo/Mercury (Degree).

As there is so much Libra energy coming through, it's likely the Virgo energy will be suffocated. Alas, Virgo is stubborn and demands to be included.

With Virgo energy coming through the degree, Draco might expect his plans for peace and unity to run perfectly, with absolutely no flaws. Virgo, in the nicest way possible, hates being wrong and must right at all times, and won't settle for anything less than perfect.

This isn't all bad. Draco might put more care in his approach to solving injustice or reaffirming his identity, ensuring that all steps he takes are done correctly and that he as all the information that is going to prepare him for such endeavours.

However, it can open up some problems. When Draco eventually makes a decision on what solution to use, if it doesn't go according to plan, things can be catastrophic. Libra is resilient, each failure means a new, harder protest. Virgo is... Pretentious and smug, a failure means looking bad and faulting a reputation.

Pluto in Retrograde

Honestly, rough home boy.

When a planet enters Retrograde, its energies are expressed inwardly, rather than outwardly.

During a Pluto Retrograde transit, Draco is likely to feel that people ar trying to bring him down. When in transit while in retrograde is most likely when natives will feel the effect, which will bring dead ends and fresh starts.

This can mean things that Draco holds on to most suddenly disappear, or he will be forced to let them go. This goes hand in hand with the Karma Pluto provides; If you haven't made amends for your wrongdoings, Pluto retrograde will make you feel the payback, hardcore.

To bring the above into the story, Pluto was in Retrograde from March 8th 1997, to August 13th 1997. Katie Bell was cursed by Draco in October 1996, however Draco isn't reprimanded for this until May 1997, when Harry uses Sectumsempra on Draco in Myrtle's bathroom.

After payback from Pluto, you usually force yourself to make change. Being that we are in the first house, it is likely Draco decided to change something within himself after losing the duel to Harry, likely learning his from wrongdoings quickly after the fact.

Abuse of power is common with those with Pluto in Retrograde on their natal charts, a characteristic we know is prominent in Draco's behaviours (My father, will be hearing about this). We can see this with Draco's relationship with Snape early on, using the teacher/student connection to worsen Harry's day. This is also seen when Draco threatens Buckbeak, and uses his father to take it to the Ministry.

As this effects Draco's identity, he is likely to be very secretive and mysterious (The Scorpio affect we mentioned earlier). He likely won't trust easily, and while he will be changing internally and transforming his morals and beliefs internally, this likely won't be seen by his surrounding peers. However, just because it is not seen (Golden trio's perspective), doesn't mean it is not occurring.

Well, what a start this has been. We have already been able to link things that we know for certain about Draco, to his birth chart.

I decided to make my days harder.

Sooooo, along the journey of writing a Harry Potter fan fiction with the added lore of Camila, I need to make said lore. I needed her family, ancestry, their values, tradition, bloody everything, you name it.

I decided to make a whole freaking family tree of relevant characters to make this shit work in the actual Harry Potter universe. However, I'm not huge on the "I'm a single child and my parents are dead" trope (No offence, Harry), as I think it tends to make a Mary-Sue.

We don't want that.

To counter this, I created Lorenzo Reinherz - Camila's, twin brother. Born ten minutes earlier, the two have almost the exact same chart, however there are some key differences.

Every placement besides the Ascendant, Sun and Moon are the same degree, however the three aforementioned placements are an integral part of a birth chart.

For this reason, we will only be dissecting Lorenzo's Ascendant, Sun and Moon placements and aspects, as he will have different influences over head compared to Camila.

For short, let's call Lorenzo, Ren.

Welcome, mates, to my Draco Malfoy Birth Chart Interpretation master post.

As I always mention, I'm no professional at this. If I'm incorrect about something, please, please, let me know. I don't want to spread misinformation.

Essentially, those who have followed along (like 3 people, but I appreciated those 3 sm) will now understand how my OC, Camila Reinherz, will fit into the HP Universe.

If ya new here, I am writing a Harry Potter based fanfiction, written in Draco Malfoy's perspective. All seven stories in Draco's perspective. I am trying my damn hardest to keep it to canon, but with not a lot given by JKR about Draco's perspective, I went crazy and made some lore.

The lore, is tied to a character/family I created, allowing Draco to have other connections away from school. You can read about the added character, here.

Writing a Draco Malfoy fanfic that is as close to canon that it can be, with added lore, is incredibly difficult when there's not a whole lot of deep information about Draco's personal life. We only see him through Harry's eyes, which is a negative perspective because of bad first impressions.

So, we analyse Draco's birth chart, instead.

Luckily, we do have Draco's birthdate; 5th June, 1980. Solid, right?

I had to go searching for information, and I wasn't confident I would find I good sauce, especially considering that this decision changes everything, in a birth chart.

I believe a Libra Ascendant matches Draco most, and you will find out why when we discuss his first house.

For those who can't read a birth chart, don't worry about the above chart - I'll be going through this for a reason.

Why am I doing this? Because I refuse to enter this challenge writing the same old, tired, over-used, bad-boy character that everyone seems to have pinned him as. I want him to have proper character arc and character growth. You cannot convince me that ending up with Astoria Greengrass, a half-blood from the sacred twenty-eight, is character growth (she DIES anyway!!!).

I won't be using any photos of movie Draco throughout this series. With books, you are only given a visual through words, and that's how it will stay.

Can you believe it? We've made it to the 12H

12H Scorpio

The twelfth house represent the Devine, the subconscious mind, intuition, instinct and secrets.

Homie, if you thought the eighth house was full of taboo, you clearly haven't met the twelfth.

With Scorpio hanging on for dear fucking life to claim the twelfth house (Cusp is at 0°19), this brings a lot of energy. Camila will likely be drawn to trying to understand the mysteries to life and death, or seeking the deeper truths to existence.

But this, brings on the need for control. Camila wants to know everything so she can be prepared for the worst, digging to find all answers she can on the future and what it may bring. Meticulously planning her days to ensure she is not set backwards by a problem.

The twelfth house is a very karmic house, it is the ending of all cycles. Mila needs to let go of her need for control and trust the process of the natural flow in life

We can't forget how emotional Scorpio is (as much as they deny it). Scorpio has incredible emotional depth, and over the twelfth house of the subconscious mind, this can make things messy. Mila might have an overwhelming emotional intensity, which could lead her to feeling out of place and misunderstood.

Waddling through the waist high water of Scorpio in the depth of the subconscious can also bring repressed emotions and traumas, pushing Camila into becoming courageous with high emotional resilience.

Where is Pluto?

Pluto is in the 11H. Why do we need to know this?

Each house has a Lord, depending the sign that is over the house. It doesn't matter if there are any planets within the house, the house Lord essentially communicates from the house they are in and brings energy across from their house.

Therefore, Grouchy Pluto is the Lord of the twelfth, as it is the modern ruler of Scorpio, however, is in the 11H. So what does this mean?

The twelfth house handles the subconscious, dreams, imagination and the Devine, and Pluto the planet of death, rebirth and transformation sits within the eleventh house of friendships, connections and hope.

A lot of Camila's transformation cycle will happen subconsciously. Her motivation for change in the societal realm is connected to her dream patterns and intuition, allowing her to trust her gut when coming to decision regarding advocacy for community needs, and her own.

With no placements in the twelfth house, Pluto has the control here. As Scorpio is literally just over the twelfth house (0°19, to be exact), Pluto is going to feel comfortable communicating to Scorpio and will find intrusive ways to do so.

This ↑, will show in Camila's dreams. Pluto will communicate the change it wants to Camila through Scorpio on the twelfth, invading her subconscious and dreams. Her intuition will be driven by Pluto, almost being able to expect the unexpected with Scorpio giving direction overhead.

And just like that, we have covered all the placements in Camila's natal chart. What a journey 🥹

We will probably take a break from Camila now and move on to the placements of the canon Harry Potter Character. We will come back to aspects on a later date, as aspects become messy with attempting to interpret the whole chart.

11H Libra

The Eleventh house represents friendships, community, hopes and desires, and associations.

This is where we come to when we look at what a native wants to achieve in the grand scheme of life. Under Libra, Camila will have a focus of bring injustices forward across her community, friendships and international access.

Her beliefs and morals will go hand in hand with acieving global needs; it's a great dynamic. Traditionally, the eleventh house is ruled by Aquarius, a sign known to demand change, rebellion and unity acroos the world. Libra, can emphasise this, being able to see both sides of the coin, as well as a publicl advocator for human rights.

Although, challenges arise when trying to balance fairness across conflicts within diverse perspectives and interests within a group. An over focus on peace and fairness might lead Camila to being indecisive or hesitnt to take decisive action when necessary.

Another problem lies in loss of personal identity, when in the pursuit of collective objectives. The focus on group dynamics or community associations may eclipse Camila's focus on her personal goals and achievements.

Linking herself to a collective on a constant basis might set Camila back, even if she isn't intending it. Mila will need to learn to blance her self needs and community needs, in order to be successful in her endeavour for peace and fairness.

Where is Venus?

Venus is in the 7H. Why do we need to know this?

Therefore, Mx Love bug Venus is the Lord of the eleventh, as it is the ruler of Libra, however is place in the seventh house. So what does this mean?

The eleventh house handles friendships, connections, idealism and relationship to the collective, and Venus the planet of love and relationships sits within the seventh house of relationships, both personal and business alike.

While not under its preferred sign, Venus sits very happy under the seventh house and will find it easy to communicate to Libra, albeit the nervous Gemini energy doesn't disrupt this flow.

Venus loves this.

Let's break this down; Over in the seventh house of relationships (intimate/professional), Venus is placed under Gemini, however the house is ruled by Taurus, it's second preferred sign. Libra, Venus's other preferred sign, is on the eleventh house cusp, the house of friendships and community.

Camila is going to love networking and increasing her social circle. She will likely have a large friendship circle that will be interchangable, as Pluto demands transformation and sacrifice.

Her friendships will likely include those who share the same goals and aspirations, interests and hobbies, allowing Camila to grow in her community. Libra is charming and charismatic, in the community she will likely be seen as leader and Venus will greatly aid this.

If Pluto and Venus are aspecting, then this will get super interesting.

Placements

11H Libra Pluto

Pluto is the dwarf planet of destruction (death), transformations, and rebirth (renewal)

Being a generational dwarf planet, the characteristics of the overhead sign is seen in many people, as Pluto can take 10-20 years to transit through a sign. The degree, house placement and aspects is what you should be looking for in terms of a personal scale, while using the corresponding natal sign to direct you.

With this placement, I would expect Camila to be popular. As Pluto is ruled by Scorpio (Modern, Western Astrology), the magnetising aura it traditionally brings would still have minimal effect under Libra, which could go one of two ways;

1: Camila's aura is charming yet intmidating, gravitating people towards her.

2: Camila's aura is charming but too intmidating, pushing people away.

I am inclined to say it will go the first way, as Libra, being ruled by Venus, means Camila will be very charismatic and knowledgable, and this will be seen by her peers and community.

Pluto is about making change, transforming something for the better and discarding the old for a new, progressed way of living.

Yet, much like what was mentioned earlier with Libra over the eleventh, with Pluto in the eleventh, the focus on group dynamics or community associations may eclipse Camila's focus on her personal goals and achievements.

This placement of Pluto suggests that the native is here to influence societal changes and promote a better world. Camila needs to be active in her community and be and advocate for what her community needs, but balance this with her personal goals and attributes.

However, Camila might struggle to let go of old patterns, traditions or fears. Pluto is encouraging Camila to do away with this behaviour to allow for liberation and change, although the process can be intimidating. The more Mila is willing to face her fears and let go, the smoother her transformation journey will be.

Pluto at 20°

The twentieth degree is a Scorpio degree.

This means, Pluto is influenced by Libra/Venus (Placement), Scorpio (Chart Ruler) and Scorpio (Degree).

Pluto, is loving this Scorpio energy.

The Scorpio aura will definitely be added to Camila's life (helps when it's her ascendant), she will likely gravitate many people to her, wanting to establish friendships and connections.

Venus loves this ↑, because it is providing energy from it's natural position in the seventh house, allowing Camila to grow her netiworks seemlessly. Camila will likely be a very popular little bee, that just wants the best for everyone.

This will likely be in a community setting (or international, depending 9H placements/aspects), although Scorpio brings the extra edge Pluto Libra needs in decision making and adcovacy.

Although Scorpio is the ruler of Pluto, that doesn't mean all is swell. Scorpio brings jealousy and possessiveness, Camila might find herself in seas of envy if her advocacy and protesting isn't as succesful as another's.

Even harder, Mila might be subject to jealousy and obsessiveness in her community, bringing in whatt we mentioned earlier about Camila facing her fears. Mila might need to let go of her grudges to progress forward in her societal endeavours, otherwise they will hold her back from making any real, positive change in the world.

Pluto in Retrograde (Rx)

We finally come to our last retrograde planet, going through four already (big yikes).

When a planet enters retrograde, its energies are expressed inwardly rather than outwardly.

Now, Pluto is a generational planet and is usually in retrograde for about six months, so this applies to many people.

During a Pluto Retrograde transit, Camila is likely to feel that people are trying to bring her down. When in transit while in retrograde is most likely when natives will feel the effect, which will bring dead ends and fresh starts.

This can mean things that Camila holds on to most suddenly disappear, or she will be forced to let them go. This goes hand in hand with the Karma Pluto provides; If you haven't made amends for your wrongdoings, Pluto retrograde will make you feel the payback, hardcore.

Pluto in retrograde was actually very easy to write, as the canon HP character I am basing Mila's story off has Pluto Retrograde in Libra as well, just in the first house. Having already written theirs, copy and paste works wonders.

After the chaotic and long ninth house, lets settle down at the 10H

10H Virgo

The tenth house represents your career and public persona.

Now, to add to debate, I like to believe that the tenth house has a part in your first impressions, as it is how the public views you. In example, Camila being a Scorpio ascendant might come across as dark and standoffish, but the way she acts in public is much more that of a Virgo, who is very compassionate about social and community needs, yet very straight to the point and factual.

Having Virgo on the tenth house cusp, Camila will do well finding working with the community service roles.

Now, we need to remember that Camila is in the Harry Potter Universe; She's a witch. This means, she will gravitate to careers such as Healing, Beast Protection, Law Enforcement, Teaching and Childhood carers.

In the muggle realm, this translates to paramedicine, nursing, teaching, psychology, firefighting, volunteering and law enforcement.

Virgo expects perfectionism and clear, precise information. Camila is likely to expect nothing but the best results in regards to her work, striving to be perfect.

This will be seen and portrayed in the public eye, and around her colleagues. Camila will likely be known for her compassionate and giving nature to the community, but with harsh and strict expectations and standards.

Where is Mercury?

Mercury is in the 4H. Why do we need to know this?

Therefore, Chatty Mercury is the Lord of the tenth, as it is the ruler of Virgo, however, is in the 4H. So what does this mean?

The tenth house handles career, public persona and reputation, and Mercury the planet of communication and intellect sits within the fourth house of family, home and traditions.

It is likely that her career and public persona will connect with her home and ancestry. Camila's family could be in the public realm as well, and could be known for either their communication standards (public speaking) or service to community.

With Saturn hanging around in the tenth house, this can also indicates there are karmic lessons regarding her family and the public opinion or their influence of the public.

With Mercury bringing energy from the fourth, Camila will likely have a high intellect with high standards on communication (stemmed traditions from family and ancestry), allowing her communication to be clear and precise in the public eye.

Using her Mercury abilities in public settings could work well for Camila (Her North Node agrees), however this really comes down to aspects.

Placements

10H Virgo Saturn

Saturn represents discipline and karma.

Straight away, with Virgo over Saturn, Camila is very likely to have OCD tendencies, and this will be prevalent in her work atmosphere as it resides in the tenth house of career. Mila will have impeccable attention to detail and will strive for perfection in her work, and will likely refuse to accept imperfect work standards.

Camila will not settle for less than perfect, but Saturn wants her to. Saturn in Virgo demonstrates that the native needs to let go of their fears of not being perfect. The more Camila strives for perfection in her work and community efforts, the more negative karma Saturn will bring.

She may particularly have trouble with winding down after a day, Mila doesn't really know how to relax. There is a craving for fulling inner purpose, a chronic doer that won't stop until she is satisfied.

Unfortunately, because of the constant want to be perfect, Camila may suffer from anxiety, stress and insecurities. Mila is likely to put others, work and perfectionism before her mental health

Saturn at 21°

The twenty-first degree, is a critical Sagittarius degree.

This means, Saturn is influenced by Virgo/Mercury (Placement/House Ruler) and Sagittarius/Jupiter (Degree).

This degree is telling Camila to let go of her fears of not being perfect, by being a little more free-spirited and care-free. Sagittarius does not like to be tied down, but Virgo wants stability and structure - Saturn is trying to tell Camila "Hey, go travel and have fun or smthn".

Mentioned in a previous post, the twenty-first degree signifies a long road ahead with new horizons. It is going to be long and cruel cycle if Camila doesn't break the chains of her routine and ideals for perfectionism.

Travelling and living a little more free will provide good Karma for Camila, because it means she will be letting go of her fears of failure. But Sagittarius is hot-headed and wants to follow its heart, Mila needs to be careful to not let her ambitions, travelling and freedom take control of her life, as this can create more and stricter routines.

Saturn in Retrograde (Rx)

I wish I could tell you this is the last planet in retrograde, but it's not.

As mentioned in three other parts (Poor Camila), when a planet enters retrograde, its energies are expressed inwardly, rather than outwardly.

I mentioned earlier that Saturn in Virgo can bring on anxiety, stress and insecurities, but this will be amplified as the energy is expressed inwardly. Virgo wants perfectionism and routine, Camila will stop at nothing to ensure her routine is faultless.

Please note, that astrology isn't a definitive resource to determine mental illnesses or disorders, however I will note, that with this placement, I would expect heavy OCD tendencies.

It will be a deep desire to perfect, but Saturn is trying to force Camila to breaking the cycle. Mila needs to let go of her fear of failure and anxiety of not being liked by the public, because it will be her undoing, in the end. The smallest change in her routine could will likely cause her a lot of stress and anxiety.

As Saturn resides in the tenth house, these tendencies will reflect mostly in her career, and it will likely be seen by the public, depending aspects to the Ascendant and Mercury. Camila might be erratic and restless in the public eye, someone who is seen as a person who demands perfection and positive outcomes. This could work in her favour, if Saturn is aspected positively.

Because Mercury is the Lord of the tenth house while residing in the fourth house, Camila might find that she can't let go of family traditions and that the respect from the public for the family is too important to sacrifice. She will likely value the opinions of others too highly, and will strive to be seen, or have the family viewed as perfect.

Adding to this, it could also indicate Camila's ancestry has generational curses that need to be broken. Her family might have the tendency to expect perfection as they could potentially be in the public eye, and being that Saturn is under Virgo, it is likely Mila's family is linked to the community service realm. The expectations and routines set by the family might be outdated or no longer vaild, and although Virgo is very adaptable due to Mercury, Saturn suggests Camila isn't adapting to the present expectations set by the public.

9H Cancer

The ninth house handles higher-education, travel, foreign affairs and spirituality.

This is going to be fun. While Cancer is the house ruler, we also have Leo and Virgo energies in the house, creating a weird combination.

With Cancer over the 9H, Camila's emotions will influence her beliefs and decision making. Cancer being a water sign, it will be unlikely that Mila makes decision regarding education, travel and spirituality based on logic and/or reality.

She will likely prefer to be away from home and will be comfortable in foreign places, being able to adapt to various different cultures. Camila will strive to find peace, Cancer is wholesome energy, think of mum-friend vibes. However, if Mila's mind is not aligned with her desire for peace, she will find it difficult to achieve these desires.

Mila may need to work a bit harder than most for luck. In the long-run, Jupiter in Virgo is there to teach resilience and self-discipline. See, the thing about fire and earth signs, is they don't give a shit, baby. Mars in Leo demands attention, it expects passion and romance and won't settle with a "No". Taurus, amplifies this.

Taurus, traditionally stubborn and unchangeable as it is a fixed sign, will cement these expectations. The twenty seventh degree is a Gemini degree.

This means that the North node has energies influenced by Leo/Sun (Placement), Gemini/Mercury (degree) and Cancer/Moon (House Ruler).

Applying degree influences on the North Node is difficult as it represents your current life path, however a Gemini degree makes this a little easier.

A North Node in Leo already suggests that Camila needs to step away from co-dependancy and into the limelight, becoming a successful, independent and known individual. Gemini, adds to this.

As mentioned in a previous part, Air fuels Fire.

A Gemini North Node signifies that a native should be pushing themselves to be public speakers and express the inexpressible. Having this in the ninth house is beneficial, as Camila has an international stage to perform on.

Leo, loves this energy, as it aids in becoming independently successful. Mercury will also play a huge role in this, especially if aspected to North Node. (It is, but it is not a major aspect)

The problem is, as the degree is at Gemini, theoretically the South Node would reside in Sagittarius. With Sagittarius South Node tendencies on top of her Aquarius South Node, Camila will likely prefer to follow her heart, as in a previous life, she was a natural born traveller. Mila will need to watch how she progresses with her independency and public life while travelling abroad, as she may resort to her comfort zone, and wander off travelling instead.

Jupiter in Retorgrade (Rx)

When a Planet is in retrograde, its energies are expressed inwardly, rather than outwardly.

With Jupiter in Retrograde, Camila will have unusual perspectives, beliefs systems and moral compass compared to the norm. She will prefer to learn from her own experiences and how she reacts to certain situations, rather than learning from others.

A determinant means that the planet has weakened energy, due to being under a sign that restricts or complicates its energies. It's not inherently bad to have a planet in detriment, it just means that the planet isn't putting a lot of energy into the chart and the native may struggle with certain characteristics from the planet due to the lack of energy.

In example, I have a 12H Libra Mars. Mars is in detriment under Libra, as Mars demands action, aggression and determination. Libra is the complete opposite, very indecisive and passive with a desire for eternal peace, rather than a desire or passion for something in particular. Because Mars is in detriment, I need to look at where my Venus is placed, as Venus is the ruler of Libra. My Venus is in Cancer in the 9H; if I focus on education and foreign affairs, this can benefit my Mars placement as my desires and passions will be directed to Venus. However, my Mars and Venus are also in a Square, which can bring many difficulties in communication between the two planets.

When Jupiter is in detriment, it is likely the native will not want to hold any power or may feel that they don't have what it takes to be powerful. Camila may struggle to express herself as Jupiter will feel restricted under methodical and direct Mercury. Mercury demands answers, intellect and adaptable communication, where as Jupiter wants to express itself freely and artistically. Mercury under Aries adds more pressure, even more so when we consider that Mercury resides in the fourth house.

Mercury being in the fourth house indicates that a lot of Mila’s growth and luck will likely occur at home, however it may also suggest that growth of home needs to occur. Camilla’s family might be known for their generosity or profound abundance of something peculiar, and with Jupiter under Virgo, the placement indicates that Mila might need to bring this into the international realm, or change something about the families beliefs and system to benefit the community.

The aspects between the two planets are critical here. If they have a harmonious aspects, Jupiter and Mercury will be able to work well with each other and allow Mila to express her ideas and schemes through effective communication and planning. If there is a harsh aspect, Jupiter and Mercury will not communicate well together and will create difficulties for Camila to discover growth in her communication, plans and ideas.

Ignore Venus. We've covered the Love bug planet.

8H Gemini

The eighth house represents sex, death, taboo and the unknown.

Having Gemini on the cusp of the eighth house, Camila will be naturally curious to the unknown and taboo subjects. Think along the lines of the occult, astrology, death and sometimes, religion. However, as there is no placements, there is no energy to drive this curiosity.

Mila will be able to manage copious amounts of information at once, but may have trouble with remembering everything. Gemini on the eight house indicates that a native could be cautious and consider all information when formulating a plan, however as Camila has her Sun in Aries fifth house and no placements within the eighth house, I see this as unlikely. The recklessness from Aries is being provided with higher energy than Gemini relying on Mercury in the fourth to operate the eighth.

While interested in the unknown and taboo, it won't be a focal point unless Mercury has something to do with it. There just isn't enough energy being accumulated into the house to justify major eighth house characteristics.

Because the eighth house is empty, Mercury has full control of this house, which is luckily controlled by its preferred sign, Gemini. Mercury and its relative signs, Gemini & Virgo, are very curious critters, they already want to know everything, but with Mercury sending energy to the eighth house, Camila will likely be an avid information seeker.

What also helps, is that Mercury (despite being placed under Aries), sits at Gemini degree, 3°, adding more Gemini influence to the eighth house.

Because Mercury is in the fourth house, the information Mila is searching for is related to her family, home and ancestry. It might be taboo to ask certain questions or there may be a death that is supposed to remain unspeakable, but leaves her curious.

7H Taurus

The seventh house represents relationships, both personal professional.

With Taurus controlling the seventh house, Camila will value peace of mind, safety and financial security in a relationship. She may seek someone who will maker her feel financially stable and secure, however she might have the tendency to be possessive and stubborn which could prove problematic in a relationship.

Taurus hanging around in the seventh can definitely be beneficial for a native's partnerships and relationships. Mila will value uniformity, purity and loyalty, which may lead to substantial and enduring connections.

As Taurus sits on the descendent, Camila might be attracted to dependable, sensible and wealthy partners. The placement demotes a sense and desire for harmony and balance in relationships, as well as a native that is overwhelmingly dedicated and loyal in connections, benefiting both parties.

Gemini hates being constricted, but Venus wants to prosper in its rightful house. This could cause a lot of problems for Mila, she will likely want to be flirty and the centre of attention, but will feel suffocated if her partner expects too much off her. Venus won't help Camila in this, as Venus wants a relationship, while Mila wants to be independent.

Luckily, Taurus is there as the house ruler, and can aid Venus in controlling wild and free spirited Gemini. Mila might differ to the typical Gemini Venus, and understand the expectations and commitment required in a relationship, resulting in longer and more fulfilling relationships.

7H Taurus Moon

Taurus is all about comfort and security, it is uncomplicated and dedicated to getting what it wants. With the Moon in Taurus, it indicates that Mila is likely to be determined to achieve her desires, but will have to fight her wants to reside in her comfort zone on a permanent basis.

Mila will be level-headed, devoted and extremely strong-willed. She will be an excellent friend to have as she is trustworthy and extremely loyal, as well as empathetic and compassionate.

However, Camila will likely keep her emotions to herself, storing her feelings deep within which makes her slow to adapt to change and can be often resistant to letting go emotions. This can lead to holding grudges for an extended period of time.

Camila will value marriage highly and is very likely to get married, setting it as a goal for herself, which is most probable as Taurus is determined to fulfil its needs and desires. 7H Gemini Venus

Venus represents love, beauty and relationships.

This placement was a very deliberate decision, which is not a popular choice, but let's work through it;

Gemini needs mental stimuli, Camila will only stay in a relationship if she is being provided this. She doesn't like mundane activities or chit chat, Mila wants to be out exploring with her partner in crime, experiencing everything the world has to offer her.

The relationship, whether personal or professional, must be fun and light-hearted in nature. Gemini doesn't take things too seriously (being an air sign), Camila will likely be silly and amusing with the tendency to not see the serious sides of a relationship.

Mila's relationships can and will work if she can find someone that can keep up with her erratic behaviour, however if she enters a relationship with someone who ties her down, she will feel suffocated and leave.

With Venus in the 7H and Gemini overhead, there will be Mercury energies present. For this reason, it is likely Mila will prefer to network, connect and enter relationships with people of high intellect. Gemini values intelligence and communication, mixed with her Aries Sun personality, Camila likely won't have patience for those with a lower intellect than herself.

As mentioned earlier, earthy Taurus will be helping Venus reign in the air within Gemini as it is the house ruler, however with a mix of water in the combination, things get a bit weird.

Taurus, is trying to make a calm environment. Gemini, wants to explore and love as many people as possible. Pisces, just wants to get high with the right person.

Pisces will add a softer environment, the atmosphere Taurus and Venus is trying hard to achieve while handling chaotic Gemini. Pisces might tone Camila down a touch, with similar values to Taurus, Pisces will be happy to just chill at home with their partner.

I can see Mila loving water or trying to understand the Devine, however it won't be a major focal point, as she is too focused on relationships as a whole. Pisces will aid Camila in settling down, and adds a level of depth in emotions regarding her Venus placement. Pisces brings more loyalty, Mila will be very appreciative and grateful for the people and love that she has in her life.
