The darkness prevails (The hobbit Fanfic)
Chapter 4
HEYYYYY!!! The next chapter is up and ready for reading!!! In this chapter, the girls are very dependant on the dwarves and their familiars. Also if I was in this situation, I would have started praying to whatever deity is listening. I can handle baba spiders but not big ones. Im sorry but Id rather kiss Sauron. Anyway, thank god that I'm not there. Anyway enjoy this chapter. Now onwards, my fellow readers. ________________________________________________________________________________

Third POV
They walked in single file. The entrance to the path was like a sort of arch leading into a gloomy tunnel made by two great trees that learn together, too old and strangled with ivy and hung with lichen to bear more than a few blackened leaves. The path itself was narrow and wound in and out among the trunks. Soon the light at the gate was like a little bright hole far behind, and the quiet was so deep that their feet seemed to thump along while all the trees leaned over them and listened. As their eyes became used to the dimness they could see a little way to either side in a sort of darkened green glimmer. Occasionally a slender beam of sun that had the luck to slip in through some opening in the leaves far above, and still more luck in not being caught in the tangled boughs and matted twigs beneath, stabbed down thin and bright before them. But this was seldom, and it soon ceased altogether.
There were black squirrels in the woods. As Bilbo's sharp inquisitive eyes got used to seeing things he could catch glimpses of them whisking off the path and scuttling behind tree-trunks. Sometimes Ava and Raye would go chasing them off or Hades would growl a little. There were queer noises too, grunts, scufflings, and hurryings in the undergrowth, and among the leaves that lay piled endlessly thick in places on the forest-floor; but what made the noises he could not see. The nastiest things they saw were the cobwebs: dark dense cobwebs with threads extraordinarily thick, often
stretched from tree to tree, or tangled in the lower branches on either side of them. There were none stretched across the path, but whether because some magic kept it clear, or for what other reason they could not guess. It was not long before they grew to hate the forest as heartily as they had hated the tunnels of the goblins, and it seemed to offer even less hope of any ending.
But they had to go on and on, long after they were sick for a sight of the sun and of the sky, and longed for the feel of wind on their faces. There was no movement of air down under the forest-roof, and it was everlastingly still and dark and stuffy. Even the dwarves felt it, who were used to tunnelling, and lived at times for long whiles without the light of the sun; but the hobbit, who liked holes to make a house in but not
to spend summer days in, felt that he was being slowly suffocated. The girls weren't any better. Renee was becoming more quiet and detached. Lilith was still struggling a lot because of how dead the forest felt. She had to mainly lean on Thorin or Hades would carry her on his back. Thorin was getting worried about his daughter. Kate would mostly ride on Fili's back because she was feeling very weak. Not as bad as Lilith.
The nights were the worst. It then became pitch-dark—not what you call pitch-dark, but really pitch: so black that you really could see nothing. Bilbo tried flapping his hand in front of his nose, but he could not see it at all. Well, perhaps it is not true to say that they could see nothing: they could see eyes. They slept all closely huddled together, and took it in turns to watch; and when it was Bilbo's turn he would see gleams in the darkness round them, and sometimes pairs of yellow or red or green eyes would stare at him from a little distance, and then slowly fade and disappear and slowly shine out again in another place. And sometimes they would gleam down from the branches just above him; and that was most terrifying. But the eyes that he liked the least were horrible pale bulbous sort of eyes.
"Insect eyes," he thought, "not animal eyes, only they are much too big."
Although it was not yet very cold, they tried lighting watch-fires at night, but they soon gave that up. It seemed to bring hundreds and hundreds of eyes all round them, though the creatures, whatever they were, were careful never to let their bodies show in the little flicker of the flames. Renee would stay up and try to keep the fire going with her magic but it was hard because she felt very weak. Worse still it brought thousands of dark-grey and black moths, some nearly as big as your hand, flapping and whirring round their ears. They could not stand that, nor the huge bats, black as a top-hat, either; so they gave up fires and sat at night and dozed in the enormous uncanny Darkness.
All this went on for what seemed to the hobbit ages upon ages; and he was always hungry, for they were extremely careful with their provisions. Even so, as days followed days, and still the forest seemed just the same, they began to get anxious. The food would not last forever: it was in fact already beginning to get low. They tried shooting at the squirrels, and they wasted many arrows before they managed to bring one down on the path. But when they roasted it, it proved horrible to taste, and they shot no more Squirrels. Hades and Ava would go hunting sometimes, but they struggled as well. They did manage to get enough to ensure everyone ate something. Lilith would feed the three familiars afterwards. Raye couldn't help with the hunting because she was still too young and fragile.
They were thirsty too, for they had none too much water, and in all the time they had seen neither spring nor stream. Kate would try and produce some water from the trees but it wasn't enough and it would stain her. This was their state when one day they found their path blocked by a running water. It flowed fast and strong but not very wide right across the way, and it was black, or looked it in the gloom. It was well that Beorn had warned them against it, or they would have drunk from it, whatever its colour, and filled some of their emptied skins at its bank. As it was they only thought of how to cross it without wetting themselves in its water. There had been a bridge of wood across, but it had rotted and fallen leaving only the broken posts near the bank.
Bilbo kneeling on the brink and peering forward cried: "There is a boat against the far bank! Now why couldn't it have been this side!"
"How far away do you think it is?" asked Thorin, for by now they knew Bilbo had the sharpest eyes among them.
"Not at all far. I shouldn't think above twelve yards."
"Twelve yards! I should have thought it was thirty at least, but my eyes don't see as well as they used a hundred years ago. Still twelve yards is as good as a mile. We can't jump it, and we daren't try to wade or swim."
"Can any of you throw a rope?"
"What's the good of that? The boat is sure to be tied up, even if we could hook it, which I doubt."
"I don't believe it is tied," said Bilbo, "though of course I can't be sure in this light; but it looks to me as if it was just drawn up on the bank, which is low just there where the path goes down into the water."
"Dori is the strongest, but Fili is the youngest and still has the best sight," said Thorin.
"Come here Fili, and see if you can see the boat Mr. Baggins is talking about." Kate jumped off Fili's back and stood next to Lilith with Ava by her feet.
Fili thought he could; so when he had stared a long while to get an idea of the direction, the others brought him a rope. They had several with them, and on the end of the longest they fastened one of the large iron hooks they had used for catching their packs to the straps about their shoulders. Fili took this in his hand, balanced it for a moment, and then flung it across the stream.
Splash it fell in the water! "Not far enough!" said Bilbo who was peering forward. "A couple of feet and you would have dropped it onto the boat. Try again. I don't suppose the magic is strong enough to hurt you, if you just touch a bit of wet rope."
Fili picked up the hook when he had drawn it back, rather doubtfully all the same. This time he threw it with great strength.
"Steady!" said Bilbo, "you have thrown it right into the wood on the other side now. Draw it back gently."
Fili hauled the rope back slowly, and after a while Bilbo said: "Carefully! It is lying on the boat; let's hope the hook will catch." It did. The rope went taut, and Fili pulled in vain. Kili came to his help, and then Oin and Gloin. They tugged and tugged, and suddenly they all fell over on their backs. Bilbo was on the lookout, however, caught the rope, and with a piece of stick fended off the little black boat as it came rushing
across the stream. "Help!" he shouted, and Balin was just in time to seize the boat before it floated off down the current. Unfortunately there was a strong gust of wind and Balin fell forward. Hades hurried to his side to make sure he wouldn't fall into the river. Renee came up to him and put an arm around his waist. "Don't worry I got you Balin."
Everyone was bummed now. Their one chance at crossing the river was gone. Everyone started to mutter, trying to come up with a new plan. As they looked around Bilbo was staring at the water rather intensely. Renee walked alongside Kili as he came to some vines. "These vines look strong enough." Thorin walked up to them and pulled them back.
"Kili! Renee!....we'll send the lightest first." Everyone started looking around trying to think about who was the lightest. They had to choose between Renee, Katherine and Bilbo. That finally seemed to knock Bilbo out of his trance once he felt eyes on him. Kate looked at Renee and Bilbo. "Well we'll have to make a choice. And now because we can't waste anymore time in this bloody forest."
Renee looked between them and looked down. She thought for a second before looking at Thorin. "Let me do it....Im the lightest out of them and the most agile." Thorin looked at her with worry but sighed. "Alright but you have to be careful." Renee nodded and handed her weapons and bags to Dwalin. She stood by the edge where the vines were. She took a deep breath before grabbing the vines firmly and then gently kicked off hanging on it. She stepped carefully, making sure not to miss a step. She could tell that she had to be careful or else she'd slip. She almost did but she managed to grab a vine and manoeuvred onto a less slippery vine. Everyone let out a sigh of relief. She gave a thumbs up that she was fine and continued her way across until she jumped onto the shoreline. She turned and smiled. "I'm all good guys. Just be careful, some of the vines are slippery but it's strong enough."
She guided them over, telling them what to avoid and where to pay very close attention. Thorin, Dwalin, Lilith and Hades were the first ones over. Ava and Raye flew over and sat next to her by her feet. Dwalin handed her weapons back. Everything was going well. Kate managed to get over when there was a splash. Bombur had slipped into the river and was snoring. The girls all simultaneously facepalmed and groaned. "Just great."
The dwarves helped him out. From then on they had to carry him and that took like 6 dwarves because he was so heavy. As the dwarves and Bilbo kept following the path through the forest, it twisted and turned over all sorts of terrain such as bare ground, high ledges, fallen tree trunks, and more. Dwalin thumped the handle of his hammer on the ground to find the paving stones of the trail.
"This way."
"Air. I need air."
"My head, it's spinning."
The dwarves suddenly ran into each other as Nori, in front, stopped abruptly. The girls groaned and rubbed their heads before pushing their way forward to see what was going on alongside Thorin.
"What's happening?"
"Keep moving. Nori, why have we stopped?"
"The path...it's disappeared!"
"What's going on?"
"We've lost the path!"
They were standing in front of a steep cliff, and there was no path ahead of them. "Find it. All of you look. Look for the path!" Lilith put a hand on her dad's arm. "Adad, calm yourself. Please."
The Company wandered through the forest. The forest was beginning to affect them mentally, and they staggered about.
"I don't remember this place before. None of it's familiar."
"It's got to be here."
"What hour is it?"
"I do not know. I don't even know what day it is."
"Is there no end to this accursed place?"
The dwarves were all muttering and rambling as they wandered about. Bilbo absentmindedly plucked a spiderweb; it vibrated, and the vibrations continued through the various linked spiderwebs and far off into the forest. Bilbo plucked the web again. He heard a strange whispering noise. Katherine hit his arm and shook his head. "Papa. don't do that."
They continued walking; Bilbo looked down and saw himself walking backward, although it was actually just an illusion. He looked back at Dori, behind him, and saw himself. His entire vision began shifting and tilting. Ori leaned down and picked up a tobacco pouch. Dori then took it from him.
"Look."
"A tobacco pouch. There's dwarves in these woods." Bofur took the pouch from Dori.
"Dwarves from the Blue Mountains, no less. This is exactly the same as mine."
"Because it is yours. You understand? We're going round in circles. We are lost."
"We're not lost. We keep heading east."
"But which way is east? We've lost the sun."
As the dwarves began bickering indistinctly, Bilbo looked up and saw a bit of sun through the tree canopy far above him. He spoke quietly, and no one else could hear him over the bickering, except for the girls but they were very weak at the moment due to the darkness.
"The sun. We have to find the sun. Up there. We need to-" The dwarves had started fighting and pushing each other around. Thorin stood apart, listening, Lilith in his arms as she leaned against him and her head on his shoulder. He heard the strange whispering sound that Bilbo heard earlier and muttered to himself. "What? What's that?"
The whispering continued. Renee covered her ears and Kate leaned against Fili. The familiars all whimpered and learned against their respective masters. Thorin turned and yelled at the dwarves. "Enough! Quiet! All of you! We're being watched." Bilbo had climbed a tree but obviously no one saw or heard him. The girls tried to focus their magic on the source, but the darkness made them extremely weak.
In the distance, trees moved haphazardly under the weight of something approaching. The movement is coming straight toward them. Worriedly, Bilbo climbed down a bit and peered around. He stepped forward, only to trip over a spiderweb and fall several feet, bouncing painfully off branches, and yelling in pain and shock the entire time. Kate looked up in shock. "Papa!!" He caught himself on a branch, then watched in horror as a web part revealed a massive spider. As the spider opened its fangs and hissed at him, Bilbo yelled and fell again, landing on his back in an even bigger spiderweb. He was stuck to it and was thus unable to resist as the spider wrapped him up tightly. Everyone else was in the same situation.
The girls struggled, trying to call on their magic. The dwarves had been knocked up and wrapped by now. Ava, Raye and Hades tried to help but they were outnumbered and also got knocked out and wrapped. The girls fought and fought. Renee's eyes were half lidded and she watched as Lilith and Kate were being wrapped. "I fucking hate spiders." She mumbled as her eyes closed and she succumbed to the darkness, the webbing wrapped tightly around her.

The Darkness Prevails (The hobbit Fanfic)
Chapter 3
Hey you guys. I have the next chapter all ready for you. And we'll have a lot of tension in this chapter. I hope you all like it. Also a great surprise for Renee but that's all I can say. Anyway onwards my lovely readers!!
______________________________________________________________________________
Third POV
The next day everyone woke up, prepared to leave for Mirkwood. Ava was cuddled in between Katherine and Fili. Hades was snuggled up next to Thorin, his head on his stomach. The egg was still beside Renee as she slept. That night she slept cuddled up with Lilith. The sun came up and soon everyone was awake. Renee opened her eyes and Lilith was already sitting up. She smiled down at her before leaning down to kiss her forehead.
"Morning Reni. Did you have a good sleep? You were knocked out last night." She chuckled as Renee sat up with a pout.
"Yes I did as a matter of fact." Renee stuck her tongue out at Lilith before standing up and stretching.
She looked to the side hoping to see the egg but it wasn't there. She blinked and looked around her sleeping area. She was starting to panic when She heard Gandalf laughing softly. She looked up and let out a huff.
"Grandpa, this isn't funny! What if something happened to the poor thing?" She saw Beorn entering the house and modestly put her hands together and kneeled.
"Beorn, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to lose the egg. I swear it was right next to me the whole night. Please, please don't be mad." She looked up and he simply chuckled and shook his head. He patted her head with a smile.
"Worry not little one. The egg is safe. It began cracking in the night. Come, I shall show you." She linked in surprise before following behind him. He led her to a nest like bed and in the middle the egg was laying with a few cracks so far. She knelt down by the nest and marvelled at it. The egg started shaking and a few more cracks appeared. Soon everyone was surrounding the nest.

Renee's POV
I was mesmerised by the egg as it wiggled and cracked. I couldn't believe it, I didn't think it'd hatch so quickly. I was beyond excited and nervous. Soon a piece of the egg fell off and I leaned forward, holding my breath. I turned to grandpa with an excited smile before looking back at the egg. Soon the egg started falling apart and inside lay a beautiful baby phoenix laid curled up. I softly gasped and moved forward towards it, eyes wide with awe.

"You're...absolutely beautiful..." I carefully lift her up in my arms. She cooed and snuggled closer before slowly opening up her eyes. I gasped at how beautiful her eyes were. I smiled at her and she lifted her head, tilting it to the side. She then let out a soft cry and leaned forward, putting her beak against my cheek. I started to glow for a second before it faded. There, on my right upper arm, was a symbol. A symbol of the phoenix. I looked at grandpa. "What does this mean grandpa?" But he simply smiled at me. "She has chosen you as her master. You both are tied to one another now."

I looked at him with wide eyes before they softened and looked back at the baby in my arms. "Hey little one. Don't worry, I'm gonna take good care of you. No matter what... I'm gonna call you Raye... you like that, little one?" She let out a soft cry of approval before nuzzling her head under your chin. I stood up with her in my arms. I looked at Beorn.
"Thank you for giving her to me. I promise to always take good care of her." He smiled and patted my head. "I have no doubt about that little one." Everyone in the company gathered around to say hello to the new member of the company. Both Ava and Hades got along with Raye immediately. The three of them bonded immediately. Raye cuddling up to Hades and Ava.
During that time everyone got prepared to leave. It was an hour past dawn. I once again shared a pony with Kili and sat in front of him as he sat behind me, Raye was snuggled into your chest in a sling, made by Lilith using her magic. Once everyone was packed and on their ponies, Beorn turned to Gandalf on his horse, a grim expression on his face. "Your way through Mirkwood is dark, dangerous and difficult," he said. "Water is not easy to find there, nor food. The time has not yet come for nuts (though it may be past and gone indeed before you get to the other side), and nuts are about all that grows there fit for food; in there the wild things are dark, queer (LGBTQ+? Just kidding), and savage. I will provide you with skins for carrying water, and I will give you some bows and arrows. But I doubt very much whether anything you find in Mirkwood will be wholesome to eat or to drink."
"There is one stream there, I know, black and strong which crosses the path. That you should neither drink of, nor bathe in; for I have heard that it carries enchantment and a great drowsiness and forgetfulness. And in the dim shadows of that place I don't think you will shoot anything, wholesome or unwholesome, without straying from the path. That you MUST NOT do, for any reason. That is all the advice I can give you. Beyond the edge of the forest I cannot help you much; you must depend on your luck and your courage and the food I send with you. At the gate of the forest I must ask you to send back my horse and my ponies. But I wish you all speed, and my house is open to you, if ever you come back this way again."
Third POV
The Company saddled and rode Beorn's ponies. As they rode away, Beorn, who was staying at his house, looked around for danger. "Go now, while you have the light. The hunters are not far behind." The company rode rapidly across the land, slowing to a stop as they approached a looming, gloomy-looking forest. Hades stopped next to Thorin's horse, growling at the forest. Ava and Raye cried out in discomfort and snuggled into Renee and Katherine. Katherine leaned back against Fili, feeling uneasy at the forest, sensing darkness and rot. Gandalf dismounted and walked into the edge of the forest through an ancient archway.
"The Elven Gate." Gandalf turned and called to the others. "Here lies our path through Mirkwood." "No sign of the Orcs. We have luck on our side." Dwalin dismounted. Lilith rolled her eyes. "Right its luck, not a skin changer" She mumbled as she dismounted with Thorin's help. Gandalf squinted as he saw something in the distance; it was Beorn, in his bear-form, watching them from a distant ridge. Katherine looked up to where he was looking and smiled softly.
"Set the ponies loose. Let them return to their master." The dwarves and Bilbo dismounted and began taking their supplies off the ponies. Kili helped Renee down, patting Raye's head and kissing Renee's forehead. Fili did the same with Katherine and Ava, except he kissed Katherine on the cheek. Bilbo approached the forest on foot.
"This forest feels...sick, as if a disease lies upon it. Is there no way around?"
"Not unless we go two hundred miles north, or twice that distance south." Gandalf, Renee and Lilith followed a path a few feet further into the shadows and approached a plant-covered statue. At the same time, Bilbo, who was standing by himself, reached into his pocket and, after some internal conflict, slowly pulled out the Ring and fingers it. Just like when he examined it in Beorn's house, we heard the voice whispering the "One Ring to rule them all" chant.
As Gandalf approached the statue, Galadriel suddenly appeared; she was evidently thought-speaking to Gandalf from Rivendell. "Something moves in the shadows unseen, hidden from our sight. Every day it grows in strength. Beware the Necromancer. He is not what he seems."
Gandalf approached the statue apprehensively, then quickly yanked off the vines, revealing a painted-on Eye of Sauron. Bilbo, holding the Ring, gasped slightly. Renee got dizzy, gripping Gandalf as the darkness overwhelmed her. Lilith gripped her head as she felt how poisoned and dead the forest was. But Gandalf wasn't paying much attention.
"If our enemy has returned, we must know. Go to the tombs in the mountains."
Gandalf, hearing her words in his head, nodded in agreement. "The High Fells. So be it." After a while Renee started to feel better. Gandalf held her up. "Easy my firefly. The darkness will fade soon. You're okay. Lilith, my little flower, I know you can feel how dead the forest is but do not allow it to consume you." Both Renee and Lilith nodded, taking deep breaths. Once the girls were feeling better, Gandalf led them back to the others.
The unladen ponies trotted away; Nori was just about to finish unsaddling Gandalf's horse when Gandalf and the girls emerged from the forest. "Not my horse! I need it." As Gandalf strode forward, the Company looked up and murmured in surprise "You're not leaving us?" Gandalf looked at Bilbo.
"I would not do this unless I had to." Gandalf looked at Thorin, then turned and looked at a dejected Bilbo. "You've changed, Bilbo Baggins. You're not the same Hobbit as the one who left the Shire."
"I was going to tell you; I...found something in the Goblin tunnels."
"Found what?" Gandalf leaned forward curiously and suspiciously; Bilbo didn't answer immediately, but fumbled with the ring in his pocket. All three girls exchanged a look, knowing what Gandalf was thinking but not saying anything. They turned back to Gandalf. "What did you find?" Bilbo stayed silent for several more seconds, then finally responded. "My courage." He removed his hand from his pocket.
"Good. Well, that's good. You'll need it."
Gandalf turned and began walking toward his horse; he spoke as he passed Thorin. "I'll be waiting for you at the overlook, before the slopes of Erebor. Keep the map and key safe. Do not enter that mountain without me." Gandalf stopped and looked hard at Thorin as he said this, then continued toward his horse. "This is not the Greenwood of old. The very air of the forest is heavy with illusion. It will seek to enter your mind and lead you astray." Renee walked up to Gandalf with worried eyes.
"Grandpa. Please be careful. I love you." she hugged him tight, him responding with a hug just as tight before pulling away. "I will, my little one. You stick with the company, all three of you." He kissed her forehead. Bilbo was starting to feel very uneasy now.
"Lead us astray? What does that mean?" Gandalf got on his horse. It began raining lightly, even though the sun was out. "You must stay on the path; do not leave it. If you do, you will never find it again." Gandalf wheeled his horse and rode away. "No matter what may come, stay on the path!" He called out as he rode away. Renee watched him leave, tears falling down her cheek before she wiped it away.
Thorin and the Company turned toward the forest. The girls looked towards Gandalf's direction as he got smaller. Hades, Ava and Raye nuzzled their heads against their respective masters, offering support. Soon they sighed and looked away taking deep breaths before turning and walking to Thorin's side.
"Come on. We must reach the mountain before the sun sets on Durin's Day."
"Durin's Day. Let's go!"
"This is our one chance to find the hidden door."
They entered Mirkwood. They were following the paved path that started at the Elven Gate. Thorin was leading with Lilith and Hades by his side. At one point, the path turned a corner.
"The path goes this way."
As they all kept following the path through the forest, it twisted and turned over all sorts of terrain such as bare ground, high ledges, fallen tree trunks, and more. Renee was feeling the effects of the darkness surrounding her. She stayed by Katherine's side, holding her hand as she led Renee behind the others. She felt dizzy and disorientated. Suddenly she heard a voice in her mind. It was Galadriel or to the girls, Lady G.
"Be strong, my child. You are stronger than you think. Do not allow the darkness to plague you. You are a Kharonn, a wizard and a dwarf all in one. You radiate determination and strength. I am with you, as I am with Katherine and Lilith. I will guide you, my child. But you must stay strong"
Renee felt a sense of calm fall over her and smiled slightly. She took deep breaths and looked ahead of her, responding to Lady G in her mind as she was soothed. "Thank you Lady G. I know I can do this. I fear the darkness will take control of me. But I won't let it. You said it yourself, grandma. I radiate determination and strength. I won't give in, I promise."
"I know you won't, my child. Remain calm and don't let your fears control you. Lean on your family and companions. You are not alone, my child."
Her voice started to fade. Renee was feeling more at ease and less fearful. She knew her family wouldn't let anything happen to you. Raye nuzzled her beak against Renee's cheek. She smiled down and kissed Raye on the head. "You're right, little one. We got this. I'm glad I have you with me."

A true home (The hobbit Fanfic)
Chapter 21
Hey everyone. I hope you're ready for the big battle at the end of The Unexpected Journey. This will dive into Renee's power a bit more and give an idea of just how powerful she actually is. I'm so excited for you guys to read this. I hope you enjoy it. Onwards my readers.
___________________________________________________________________________
Third Pov
Gandalf yelled as he led them further from the Orcs.
"This way!"
The company followed Gandalf . They came to a cliff. There are a bunch of trees.
"Up into the trees"
The girls stopped and realised that they had to climb. Renee looked behind her and looked for Bilbo.
'Uncle Dwalin!!! Help Lilith and Kate up the trees. I'm going to help Papa." You took your daggers out and helped Bilbo with the warg.
"All of you! Come on, climb! Bilbo, climb! Quickly!"
She helped Bilbo get his sword out of the Wargs head. She hurried to a tree and grabbed Kili's hand as he helped her up. His hand went around her waist and he helped you up to where Kate was. Bilbo got up just in time as the wargs came running towards the trees and jumping to snag one of them.
"They're coming!"
"Hang on!"
"Hold on, brothers!"
Lilith was holding on when she felt a dark presence. She looked up and her eyes widened. It was him, the bastard, that was determined to end the Durin Line. She heard her father say.
"Azog. It cannot be."
She puts a hand on his arm. He turned to her and she looked at him with a concerned look. The dwarves were shouting as the wargs kept jumping and knocking down the trees. This caused most of them to jump onto the other trees.
"It's going!"
Soon everyone was on the last tree which was struggling. Renee held onto the branches and Kili kept a grip on her to make sure she didn't fall. Fili did the same for Kate. Lilith was holding onto Dwalin and the branch.
"Grandpa!!! What do we do?"
She kept holding on and looked up to see him lighting a pinecone.
"Fili!"
"Yeah!"
Gandalf dropped a pinecone that was burning. Fili caught it. Soon Renee got an idea. She created flames in her hands, her eyes glowing orange. Everyone started throwing flaming pinecones at the wargs and orcs. She threw fireballs at them. A wall of fire surrounded them and kept the wargs and orcs back. Everyone started cheering. But all good things come to an end.
Soon the tree uprooted and started to fall, causing everyone to hang off the branches. Ori fell and grabbed onto Dori's leg. Renee's eyes widened.
"Ori!!"
Soon Dori's grip loosened and his hands slipped. Renee looked up at Gandalf.
"Grandpa!!!"
"No! Oh, no. Mr. Gandalf!"
"Oh, no, Dori!"
"Help!"
Gandalf held his staff put which Dori grabbed onto. She sighed in relief. She heard Balin and Dwalin yelling. She turned and saw Thorin standing in the tree with his sword.
"No!"
"Thorin! No!"
"Father, no don't do this!!!"
Lily cried out, hoping he'd hear her and stop. But it was no use.
youtube
Renee watched as the dwarves fought for their king. This awakened something in her. She felt her power grow. She stood up and glared at the orcs. Her hair started to glow a bright orange, looking like fire. She started to float. She put her arms out, gathering the flames around her. Everyone looked at her with shock. Gandalf smiled at her with such pride and love. Her sisters grinned with pride. Kili looked even more in love than he was before. She looked at Azog straight into his eyes.
"Burn in hell asshole!"

"Look"
She let go and screamed as she allowed her flames to burn the orcs and wargs. The eagles came. Dori's hand slipped, causing him and Ori to fall and land on the back of one of the eagles. The eagles picked up the dwarves and threw them on the backs of other eagles. Some picked up some of the wargs or orcs that hasn't burnt and threw them off the cliff. One of them picked up Thorin and his sword and flew off, holding the unconscious king in its claw. Renee started to feel weak and started to fall. Gandalf caught her and held her in his arms as he rode on the eagle's back. Lilith and Kate were with Bilbo.
"Thorin!"
Fili yelled as he looked at his uncle. The eagles flew as the sun shone in the sky. Soon they came to The Carrock, The eagles laid Thorin on the rock and flew off. Gandalf carried his granddaughter as he got off the Eagle.
"Thorin!"
He laid Renee down next to Thorin. He closed his eyes and muttered, putting his hands over his face. The dwarves had landed and gathered around them. Lilith and Kate knelt next to Gandalf.
"Thorin."
Thorin started to open his eyes. He saw Gandalf leaning over him. He caught his breath.
"The Halfling?"
"It's all right. Bilbo is here. He's quite safe."
Lilith bent down to hug her father, tears falling down her cheeks. Kate was rubbing her back. Renee groaned slightly and stirred, slowly opening her eyes. She looked around before looking at Gandalf
"Oh hey grandpa. Did we escape those bastards?"
She said, sitting up carefully leaning against him. Thorin gruffly groaned as he turned on his side and Dwalin and Kili helped him up. Gandalf helped Renee up, leaning against him for support. Thorin glared at Bilbo, slowly walking towards him.
"You! What were you doing? You nearly got yourself killed! Did I not say that you would be a burden? That you would not survive in the Wild? That you had no place amongst us?"
Everyone held their breaths, Bilbo looked down, hurt before Thorin surprised everyone, especially Bilbo.
"I have never been so wrong in all my life."
He hugged Bilbo, everyone started cheering. Bilbo felt so happy and seen. He finally felt like he was part of the company. Thorin pulled back, put his hands on his upper arms, looking at him softly.
"But I'm sorry I doubted you."
Bilbo immediately shook his head, waving him off.
"No, I would have doubted myself too. I'm not a hero or a warrior. Not even a burglar."
The girls scoff. Kate looked at her father, giving him a look.
"Papa, stop that. You did amazing. Stop being modest"
Renee and Lilith nod in agreement. They looked behind the two and gasp, Thorin followed their gazes, eyes widened. Bilbo turned around confused until he finally realised what's going on.
"Is that what I think it is?"
"Erebor...the Lonely Mountain...the last of the great Dwarf kingdoms of Middle-earth."
Everyone stood at the edge as they looked at the mountain. Kate squeezed Fili's hand, smiling at him before looking back at the mountain. Renee subconsciously grabbed Kili's hand, looking ahead. Kili looked down at their hands, surprised before looking at her, smiling softly before turning his attention back to the mountain
"Our home."
"A raven! The birds are returning to the mountain."
"That, my dear Oin, is a thrush."
The girls looked at the bird that flew past them and watched as it flew towards the mountain. Thorin looked at the mountain, beyond happy and proud. His arm was around his daughter as they looked upon their heritage, their home. She put her head on his shoulder as she smiled.
"But we'll take it as a sign. A good omen."
"You're right. I do believe the worst is behind us."
The girls knew deep down...that Bilbo couldn't be more wrong. There was still a dragon they had to face and that was no easy feat. Fili pulled Kate away from the group and held her hands.
"Amrâlimê, I have something I must say. I love you with everything I have and I want to spend the rest of my life with you,' He pulls out a bead from his pocket and holds it in between his fingers, "May I court you?"
She looked at him with wide eyes looking between the bead and him. She started smiling and nodded with a huge smile.
"Yes, a million times"
She wrapped her arms around his neck, crying happily. He held her tight and kissed her cheek, muttering about how much he loved her. They forgot that the group wasn't too far away until they heard someone clear their throat. They pulled back and saw everyone, even Thorin, grinning at them. That night they celebrated the beginning of the courtship, feeling a bit more optimistic after what happened.
It allowed them a small break from everything and allowed them to let loose and have fun. The company approved of Kate, and were happy to have her a part of their family. They already accepted the girls near the beginning of the journey but this just finalised everything.
_______________________________________________________________________
OMG!!!! FILI FINALLY AKSED HER!!!!! OH IM SO HAPPY FOR THEM!!! AND BILBO WAS FINALLY ACCEPTED BY THORIN AS A PART OF THE COMPANY. AND RENEE!!! BY THE LORD, SHE FINALLY SHOWED OFF HER POWER AND BAM! SHES SO FUCKING POWERFUL!!!!!!!

The Darkness Prevails (a hobbit fanfic)
Chapter 2
Heyyyyyyy everyone. So here is the next chapter. There will also be a huge surprise so be ready and prepared for that. Also play the video when you get to the end and near the part. Anyway onwards my readers!!!!
______________________________________________________________
Renee's POV
I woke up snuggled up next to Kili. You smiled and sat up, you looked around and smiled at everyone. You carefully got up, trying not to wake Kili before slowly walking to Gandalf. You sat down next to him.
"Good morning Grandpa" I hugged him tightly. He wrapped his arms around you and chuckled, kissing your forehead. "Good morning my little firefly. How did you sleep? I see you have been becoming very comfortable around the young prince."
I rolled my eyes and chuckled a little, slowly looking at Kili. "Maybe a bit. But... I don't know, I just, I'm scared Grandpa. Were mom and dad the same when they were still trying to figure out their feelings?"
Gandalf nodded with a smile. "Oh yes your mother was a lot like you. Always in denial even though Ragnar was extremely obvious. Your grandmother had to knock it into her because she was getting annoyed with how dense your mother was." Gandalf chuckled softly, shaking his head before kissing my forehead.
We stayed like that for a few minutes. Soon everyone was up and standing in the kitchen discussing the best course of action. Most were slightly panicking. Nori was walking up and down nervous.
"I say we should leg it, slip out the back way-"
But Dwalin cut him off and pulled him back with a gruff look. "I'm not running from anyone. Beast or no."
Everyone started talking over one another. I just looked at my sister and we all shook our heads rolling our eyes and sighed annoyed at them. Thankfully Grandpa interrupted before things got hairy.
"There is no point in arguing. We cannot pass through the wilderland without Beorn's help."
"Grandpa's right. Either way we have to confront him So everyone shut up and listen before I knock you all out." Renee added, nodding to Gandalf. Everyone started to calm themselves and looked back at him.
"Well be hunted down, before we even get to the forest. Bilbo there you are. Now this will require some delicate handling. We must tread carefully. The last person to have startled him was torn to shreds." I facepalmed. "What a great way to put it grandpa. Really great pep talk."
"I will go first. And Bilbo, you will be coming with me. As will Katherine and Renee. Lilith you will stay with your father." I looked at papa with a reassuring smile and patted his shoulder. Dont worry Papa, everything will be okay." Katherine nodded as well, holding onto his arm. He walked forward, obviously worried about Gandalf's plan.
"Is this a good idea?"
"Yes, now the rest of you just wait here and don't come out until I give the signal"
"Right, wait for the signal," Bofur repeated, sitting by the window and looking out to see what was happening outside.
"And no sudden movements or loud noises and don't overcrowd him."
I nodded as I continued. "So you all have to come out in pairs okay. Except you Bombur, you technically count as two so you come out alone, okay?" I tried not to laugh as he ate a carrot and looked at me nodding. He looked like a little kid. I shake my head with a smile.
"Remember everyone, wait for the signal and for the love of all, do not make any sounds and keep quiet. I know that's gonna be a bit difficult for you guys but try your best." Grandpa, Papa, Kate and I both turned and walked out carefully. I could hear the other muttering as we left. "Right. Wait for the signal... wait what's the signal?" I facepalmed, completely forgetting about that but there wasn't any time. Here we go. Mahal, give us all strength.
I walked next to grandpa and stopped next to him, looking up at the huge man. His back was faced to us and he hasn't noticed us yet. I stopped a few steps behind grandpa, Kate was leaning her arm on my shoulder and I kept my arms crossed, an unreadable expression on my face. I watched as Grandpa tried to get Beorn's attention. He finally did when stood up straight and the axe on the block, leaning on the handle, looking a bit annoyed. He looked over his shoulder, stern and firm look.
"Who are you?"
"I am Gandalf, Gandalf the Grey." Grandpa smiled and slowly bowed. Beorn modestly pulled his axe down and turned, facing us. He put it down in front of him, leaning on it as he looked down at us.
"Never heard of him."
Grandpa looked slightly offended but hid it behind a smile. Bilbo stayed hidden behind Gandalf. "I am a wizard. Perhaps you've heard of my colleague, Radagast the Brown? He resides in the Southern borders of Mirkwood-"
"What do you want?" I stood up straight, sensing his irritation and preparing to help my grandpa in case but he simply smiled and continued talking. "Well, as to simply thank you for your hospitality. You may have noticed that we took refuge in your uh lodgings here last night."
Bilbo stuck his head out a bit when Grandpa motioned to the house behind us, causing Beorn to quickly direct his gaze to us. Kate and Bilbo were slightly tense while I remained calm like my grandpa.
"Who are these little people and the taller one behind you?"
"Oh this would be Mr Bilbo Baggins and his daughter Katherine from the Shire. And this would be Renee, she is my granddaughter." Beorn lifted his axe and looked ready to fight almost. I moved in front of Bilbo and Kate, glaring at him as he grunted, looking between the three of us.
"They're not dwarves are they?"
Grandpa chuckled. "Oh no. They are hobbits. Good family and unimpeachable reputation. My granddaughter...she is half dwarf but please do not hold that against her, she has no control over that." I kept my arms crossed and face stern. Kate and Bilbo were more relaxed.
"Two halflings, a half dwarf and a wizard... How come you here?"
I blocked out everything after that. I didn't need to listen and turn around to know what was going on.
"I was coming over the mountains with 3 friends or 4..." said Grandpa
"Or 4? I can only see 3, and 2 little ones at that," said Beorn.
"Well to tell you the truth, I did not like to bother you with a lot of us, until I found out if you were busy. I will give a call, if I may."
"Go on, call away!"
So Grandpa gave a long shrill whistle, and presently Thorin and Dori came round the house by the garden path and stood bowing low before them.
"One or three you meant, I see!" said Beorn. "But these aren't hobbits, they are dwarves!"
"Thorin Oakenshield, at your service! Dori at your service!" said the two dwarves bowing again. Lilith came afterwards and crossed her arms. "Lilith Oakenshield." She nodded her head.
"I don't need your service, thank you," said Beorn, "but I expect you need mine. I am not over fond of dwarves; but if it is true you are Thorin (son of Thrain, son of Thror, I believe), and that your companion is respectable, and that you are enemies of goblins and are not up to any mischief in my lands, and if you really are the daughter of Thorin—what are you up to, by the way?"
"They are on their way to visit the land of their fathers, away east beyond Mirkwood," put in Grandpa, "and it is entirely an accident that we are in your lands at all. We were crossing by the High Pass that should have brought us to the road that lies to the south of your country, when we were attacked by the evil goblins—as I was about to tell you."
"Go on telling, then!" said Beorn, who was never very polite. I just rolled my eyes, getting annoyed at his attitude but I said nothing.
"There was a terrible storm; the stone-giants were out hurling rocks, and at the head of the pass we took refuge in a cave, the hobbit and I and several of our companions..."
"Do you call 3 several?"
"Well, no. As a matter of fact there were more than two."
"Where are they? Killed, eaten, gone home?" "Well, no. They don't seem all to have come when I whistled. Shy, I expect. You see, we are very much afraid that we are rather a lot for you to entertain."
"Go on, whistle again! I am in for a party, it seems, and one or two more won't make much difference," growled Beorn.
Grandpa whistled again; but Nori and Ori were there almost before he had stopped, for, if you remember, Grandpa had told them to come in pairs every five minutes.
"Hullo!" said Beorn. "You came pretty quick—where were you hiding? Come on my jack-in-the-boxes!"
"Nori at your service, Ori at..." they began; but Beorn interrupted them.
"Thank you! When I want your help I will ask for it. Sit down, and let's get on with this tale, or it will be supper-time before it is ended."
"As soon as we were asleep," went on Gandalf, "a crack at the back of the cave opened; goblins came out and grabbed the hobbit and the dwarves and our troop of ponies—"
"Troop of ponies? What were you—a travelling circus? Or were you carrying lots of goods? Or do you always call six a troop?"
"O no! As a matter of fact there were more than six ponies, for there were more than six of us—and well, here are two more!" Just at that moment Balin and Dwalin appeared and bowed so low that their beards swept the stone floor. The big man was frowning at first, but they did their best to be frightfully polite, and kept on nodding and bending and bowing and waving their hoods before their knees (in proper dwarf-fashion), till he stopped frowning and burst into a chuckling laugh: they looked so comical.
"Troop, was right," he said. "A fine comic one. Come in my merry men, and what are your names? I don't want your service just now, only your names; and then sit down and stop wagging!"
"Balin and Dwalin," they said not daring to be offended, and sat flop on the floor looking rather surprised.
"Now go on again!" said Beorn to Grandpa. "Where was I? O yes—I was not grabbed. I killed a goblin or two with a flash—"
"Good!" growled Beorn. "It is some good being a wizard, then." "—and slipped inside the crack before it closed. I followed down into the main hall, which was crowded with goblins. The Great Goblin was there with thirty or forty armed guards. I thought to myself 'even if they were not all chained together, what can a dozen do against so many?"'
"A dozen! That's the first time I've heard eight called a dozen. Or have you still got some more jacks that haven't yet come out of their boxes?"
"Well, yes, there seem to be a couple more here now—Fili and Kili, I believe," said Grandpa, as these two now appeared and stood smiling and bowing.
"That's enough!" said Beorn. "Sit down and be quiet! Now go on, Gandalf!" I tried not to laugh at them.
So Gandalf went on with the tale, until he came to the fight in the dark, the discovery of the lower gate, and their horror when they found that Mr. Baggins had been mislaid. "We counted ourselves and found that there was no Mr Baggins. There were only seventeen of us left!"
"Seventeen ! That's the first time I've heard one from thirteen leave seventeen. You mean twelve, or else you haven't told me yet all the names of your party."
"Well, of course you haven't seen Oin and Gloin yet. And, bless me! here they are. I hope you will forgive them for bothering you."'
"O let 'em all come! Hurry up! Come along, you two, and sit down! But look here, Gandalf, even now we have only got yourself and ten
dwarves and the hobbit that was lost. That only makes eleven (plus one mislaid) and not fourteen, unless wizards count differently to other people. But now please get on with the tale."
"Well," said Gandalf, very glad to see that his tale was making a good impression, "I did the best I could. There we were with the wolves going mad underneath us and the forest beginning to blaze in places, when the orcs came down from the hills and discovered us. They yelled with delight and sang songs making fun of us. Eighteen birds in five fir-trees ..."
"Good heavens!" growled Beorn. "Don't pretend that goblins can't count. They can. Fifteen isn't eighteen and they know it."
"And so do I. There were Bifur and Bofur as well. I haven't ventured to introduce them before, but here they are."
In came Bifur and Bofur. "And me!" gasped Bombur puffing up behind. He was fat, and also angry at being left till last. He refused to wait five minutes, and followed immediately after the other two.
"Well, now there are eighteen of you; and since orcs can count, I suppose that is all that there were up the trees. Now perhaps we can finish this story without any more interruptions." Mr. Baggins saw then how clever Gandalf had been. The interruptions had really made Beorn more interested in the story, and the story had kept him from sending the dwarves off at once like suspicious beggars
"A very good tale!" said he. "The best I have heard for a long while. If all beggars could tell such a good one, they might find me kinder. You may be making it all up, of course, but you deserve a lovely breakfast for the story all the same. Let's have something to eat!"
"Yes please!" they all said together. "Thank you very much!" Soon we were all inside, sitting and eating the breakfast Beorn made us. I smiled when he poured milk in my cup. "Thank you," I drank my milk slowly. Beorn addressed Thorin after he had refilled everyone's cup.
Third POV
"So you are the one they call Oakenshield. Tell me, why is Azog the Defiler hunting you?" "You know of Azog? How?"
"My people were the first to live in the mountains, before the Orcs came down from the north. The Defiler killed most of my family, but some he enslaved." The girls looked up and saw the remnants of manacles on Beorn's wrist. Renee and Kate looked away in discomfort while Lilith gritted her teeth and clenched her fists in anger.
"Not for work, you understand, but for sport. Caging skin-changers and torturing them seemed to amuse him."
"There are others like you?"
"Once, there were many."
"And now?"
"Now, there is only one."
The dwarves, Bilbo, and Gandalf looked on in silence. Lilith looked up. "Those Bastards. I swear I'll kill them all." Renee and Kate also nodded. All three of the girls' eyes started glowing, their magic intensifying due to their anger. Renee's magic was more sensitive than the other two so she had to calm herself quickly. "I'm going to burn those motherfuckers to ashes. I swear to you...we will make those bastards pay for what they did to your people. That is a promise."
All the girls' nodded with determination in their eyes. Beorn could sense their power, especially Renee's. He was shocked at first before he softened slightly and nodded his head in thanks. The girls' relaxed, eyes turning normal and smiled at him before finishing up their milk while he turned his attention to Gandalf.
"You need to reach the mountain before the last days of autumn?"
"Before Durin's Day falls, yes."
"You are running out of time."
"Which is why we must go through Mirkwood."
"A darkness lies upon that forest. Fell things creep beneath those trees. There is an alliance between the Orcs of Moria and the Necromancer in Dol Guldur. I would not venture there except in great need."
"We will take the Elven Road. That path is still safe."
"Safe? The Wood-Elves of Mirkwood are not like their kin. They're less wise and more dangerous. But it matters not."
"What do you mean?"
"These lands are crawling with Orcs. Their numbers are growing, and you are on foot. You will never reach the forest alive."
Thorin looked shocked. Beorn stood up from the table and faced Thorin. Everyone was tense for a second. "I don't like dwarves. They're greedy and blind, blind to the lives of those they deem lesser than their own." Beorn picked up a mouse that had been scampering on the table and held it, all the while approaching Thorin. who was standing with his arms crossed. "But Orcs I hate more. What do you need?"
For the rest of the day, Beorn helped the dwarves. They had a bag, bed rolls and a pony each. Kate was sitting on a rock, watching when she heard something. She heard rustling and got up. She walked towards it and bent down. She pushed the plants aside and gasped. There was a baby animal there. It let out a cute yawn and looked at her with curious eyes. It let out a soft cry.
"Hello little one. I'm Kate." She smiled and held a hand out to show she meant no harm. It let out a cry and shifted closer to her, sniffing her hand. It let out another cry and nuzzled her hand. Kate smiled and slowly lifted it in her arms. "Aren't you a sweetheart? Do you want to come with me and my family? We're going to reclaim the lonely mountain. And you won't be alone. There's also Hades, he's Lilith's wolf. He's nice don't worry... how about we name you...Ava? My best friend's last name is Griffin so Ill name you after her. You are a girl it seems." Kate snuggled Iris into her chest as she stood up.

Ava let out an approving cry and snuggled into her more. She then licked Kate's arm and then it glowed. When the glow faded there was a blue mark that represented the griffin, showing the bond between Kate and Ava. She saw Beorn approaching and looked up at him.

He looked at her, then Ava and then the mark. "She has chosen you as her master. Take care of her, young one and she shall take care of you. Because of the mark and bond, she will be able to speak to you and you will be able to hear her in your mind. In time, so remain patient." He gave a soft smile and patted Ava on the head. "Thank you, I'll take good care of her, I promise" She smiled up at him before walking to the others. Renee was walking around and saw Beorn. She jogged up to him.
"What is it? You okay there?" Beorn looked at her before nodding and walking to a small shed. When he came back he carried something covered by a cloth. "This is a rare find. I sensed your magic. You are a Kharonn, a very special and powerful race. I think this will help you." He unwrapped it and held it out. It was an egg. She gasped and took it from him.
"What is it? What kind of creature?" She looked up at him and he smiled at her. "A phoenix. I found it very long ago and it has yet to hatch. But it seems to sense you and soon it will hatch. And It will need a master like Iris. So I hand it over to you now little one" Renee looked down at the egg and hello it close. "I'll take good care of it." She smiled in thanks before walking over to Gandalf to show him what Beorn gave her.

Those moments made everything they went through special and memorable. Now all three girls had their own familiars. Well soon they will at least. The company was surprised but no less happy at the newest additions. Hades was confused at first before he became protective of the egg and Ava. He knew they were part of the family and he was determined to keep them safe. He took it in him to always guard the egg since it had yet to hatch. Lilith was happy for her sisters to also have their own familiars and she was excited to see what they could do.
That night the company were enjoying themselves, telling stories. Lilith was leaning against Thorin. she started humming and banging her fists softly on the ground to create a beat and rhythm. Kate and Renee started to follow afterwards. The dwarves all stopped and started to smile, leaning back and relaxing. They loved hearing the girls' singing.

(All of them Renee Lilith Kate ) (This is so you know who's singing to avoid confusion)
I am my mother's savage daughter The one who runs barefoot Cursing sharp stones I am my mother's savage daughter I will not cut my hair I will not lower my voice
My mother's child is a savage She looks for her omens in the colours of stones In the faces of cats, in the falling of feathers In the dancing of fire In the curve of old bones
I am my mother's savage daughter The one who runs barefoot Cursing sharp stonesI am my mother's savage daughter I will not cut my hair I will not lower my voice
My mother's child dances in darkness She sings heathen songs By the light of the moon And watches the stars and renames the planets And dreams she can reach them With a song and a broom
I am my mother's savage daughter The one who runs barefoot Cursing sharp stones I am my mother's savage daughter I will not cut my hair I will not lower my voice
We are all brought forth out of darkness Into this world, through blood and through pain And deep in our bones, the old songs are waking So sing them with voices if thunder and rain
We are our mother's savage daughtersThe ones who run barefoot Cursing sharp stones We are our mother's savage daughters We will not cut our hair We will not lower our voice
We are our mother's savage daughters The ones who run barefoot Cursing sharp stones We are our mother's savage daughters We will not cut our hair We will not lower our voice
We are our mother's savage daughters The ones who run barefoot Cursing sharp stones We are our mother's savage daughters We will not cut our hair We will not lower our voice

That night everyone slept peacefully and safely. Beorn was patrolling and protecting the farm. As they slept, The egg started to crack, unknown to anyone except Gandalf. He smiled softly at the egg. "Don't you worry little one. Renee will take care of you." And with that, everything was peaceful once more.

OMG WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK?!!!!! For Kate's familiar, i only realised afterwards. So I decided to use Renee's middle name as inspiration. I know the irony at its finest! And a lovely song as well. Anyway I hope you enjoyed it. See you soon. BYEEEEEEEEE!!!!

________________________________________________________________________________
12 months later- since the beginning of the quest
Third POV
Bilbo and Katherine peeked over some rocks on a high ledge and watched Azog and his Warg Scouts running along a ridgeline not far away, occasionally stopping to smell the air in their pursuit of the Company. Not finding anything, they continued on their way. Suddenly, Bilbo heard a snarl from the side, pushing Katherine down and ducked behind the rocks. They peeked out and saw a large bear watching Azog from another pile of rocks, snarling softly. Bilbo and Katherine sneaked away as the bear roared. They made their way down the rocks to where the others were waiting to hear the spy report.
Meanwhile, Renee was leaning her head on Kili as she waited, while Lilith stood next to her Father. Everyone was waiting when they heard a noise. They looked up and saw Bibo and Katherine. Everyone stood up straight. Fili went up to Katherine and hugged her, They put their foreheads together smiling before pulling away and looking at the others. Dwalin stepped forward slightly.
"How close is the pack?"
"Too close. A couple of leagues, no more, but that is not the worst of it."
"Have the Wargs picked up our scent?"
"Not yet, but they will; we have another problem." Katherine said, shaking her head with a worried look
"Did they see you? They saw you!"
"No, that's not it."
Gandalf smiled and turned to the dwarves. Renee smiled at them, proud and high-fived Lilith.
"What did I tell you? Quiet as a mouse. Excellent burglar material." Renee looked at Bilbo. "Nice job you guys!"
The dwarves chuckles loudly in appreciation of Bilbo. Renee hugged Kili before pulling away, turning while his arm stayed around your waist. She then exchanged looks with Katherine, noticing her look and her smile fell. she remembered what part of the book you were. Renee and Lilith exchanged a look before looking back at Katherine as they all watched Bilbo. Bilbo looked exasperated that no one was hearing him out. Renee gave him a reassuring smile.
"Will you listen- Will you just listen? I'm trying to tell you there is something else out there." Everyone stopped cheering and turned back to him. The dwarves look worried.
What form did it take? Like a bear?"
"Ye..."
Bilbo paused and looked curiously at Gandalf while Katherine nodded in confirmation with a worried look.
"Y- yes. But bigger, much bigger Gandalf. I have no idea what kind of creature it was." Bofur then turned to Gandalf, eyes wide and full of panic "You knew about this beast?"
Renee put a hand on his shoulder. "Bofur, I know youre worried but you need to stay calm. Grandpa, what is it?" Renee looked at him with worried eyes even though she already knew who and what it was.
Gandalf smiled at her and nodded. "Of course my firefly. He is a skin-changer. He changes his skin: sometimes he is a huge black bear, sometimes he is a great strong black-haired man with huge arms and a great beard. I cannot tell you much more, though that ought to be enough. Some say that he is a bear descended from the great and ancient bears of the mountains that lived there before the giants came. Others say that he is a man descended from the first men who lived before Smaug or the other dragons came into this part of the world, and before the goblins came into the hills out of the North. I cannot say, though I fancy the last is the true tale. He is not the sort of person to ask questions of."
"At any rate he is under no enchantment but his own. He lives in an oak-wood and has a great wooden house; and as a man he keeps cattle and horses which are nearly as marvellous as himself. They work for him and talk to him. He does not eat them; neither does he hunt or eat wild animals. He keeps hives and hives of great fierce bees, and lives most on cream and honey. As a bear he ranges far and wide. I once saw him sitting all alone on the top of the Carrock at night watching the moon sinking towards the Misty Mountains, and I heard him growl in the tongue of bears: 'The day will come when they will perish and I shall go back!' That is why I believe he once came from the mountains himself."
Bilbo and the dwarves had now plenty to think about, and they asked no more questions while the girls folded their arms and listened with a serious look. They remembered this from the book so they had some understanding. Gandalf turned and walks a few steps away. Bofur was still very shaken with tis new development. "I say we double back."
"And be run down by a pack of Orcs."
Gandalf looked at them as an idea came to his head. "There is a house, it's not far from here, where we might take refuge."
"Whose house? Are they friend or foe?"
"Neither. He will help us, or he will kill us."
The dwarves looked at each other in dismay. Katherine squeezed Fili's hand, Lilith put her head on Throin's shoulder to try and calm him and Renee laced her fingers with Kili's so he knew she was here for him.
"What choice do we have?" A roar filled the night behind them; it was the bear. The girls were aware of what was going to happen but that didnt mean that they were thrilled.
"None."
Renee looked at them. "Guys we have to take our chances. Either Azog...or the bear. I put my chances on the bear. Alright Grandpa, lead the way" She nodded at Gandalf with a look of determination as did Lilith and Katherine.
The company started running through plains and across streams. The girls were really getting sick and tired of running so much.
"Come on!"
As the Company ran through a forest, Azog and his Orcs were racing through the forest too. Azog urged his party on. Both groups stopped suddenly when an ear-splitting roar sounded nearby.
"This way, quickly!"
As the dwarves panic and run, Bombur looks on in shock until he is pulled along.
"Bombur, come on!"
As they exited the forest, they spied a house surrounded by a hedge in the middle of a plain,
"To the house! Run!"
"Come on guys! We're almost there!" Lilith shouted as she pushed herself. She looked behind her as she ran near the front. The Company ran across the plain. Bombur, the fattest dwarf, outran all the rest of them in his fear. "That's it Bombur!" Renee grinned as he went past her and the others. They ran through a gate in the hedge.
"Come on, get inside!"
They ran to the front door of the house; it was closed. Bombur, who reached the door first, threw himself against it but fell flat on his back when the door didn't budge. The rest of the dwarves caught up and began throwing themselves against the door, trying to open it. Gandalf looked back as a massive bear broke out from the edge of the forest and ran toward them.
"Open the door!"
"Quickly!"
Thorin, pushing through the dwarves pressed against the door, managed to raise the exterior bolt, opening the doors. Lilith was looking at the bear, hands out as she used her magic to slow the bear down, her teeth gritted. The entire company bolted inside the house and they tried to slam the door shut, but the bear had already gotten its head in the door. As the bear roared and tried to push the door open, the dwarves yelled and strain to close it.
Bilbo pulled out his sword and pointed it unsteadily at the bear. Lilith used her magic to drag the bear away from the door so the company could close the door. Gandalf looked on in apparent amusement. Renee shakes her head at him with a loving smile. The dwarves yelled as they pressed against the door.
"Come on, lads!" With a final heave, the dwarves managed to close the door and dropped the bolt across it. They sighed in shock, fear, and tiredness.
"What is that?"
"That...is our host."
The dwarves and Bilbo turned to Gandalf in bewilderment. Renee chuckled softly.
"Great way to break the news, Grandpa."
"His name is Beorn, and he is a skin-changer as I said before." Oin checked his hearing trumpet to make sure he had heard Gandalf correctly. "He is not overfond of dwarves."
The dwarves looked at each other in dismay. Ori peaked out a crack in the door.
"He's leaving!" Dori pulled him away from the door.
"Come away from there! It's not natural, none of it. It's obvious: he's under some dark spell."
Lilith frowned a little. "He's not under an enchantment. That's a bit racist, Uncle Dori."
"Don't be a fool; he's under no enchantment but his own. Alright now, get some sleep, all of you. You'll be safe here tonight."
The dwarves started to spread out through the house. Fili found a place and laid down with Katherine. He put his cloak over both of them as she laid her head on his chest and closed her eyes. Lilith laid down next to her father and he put his cloak over her, smiling softly and kissing her forehead. Renee laid next to Kili, putting her head on his shoulder and he wrapped his arms around her, kissing her forehead. Gandalf whispered quietly to himself.
"I hope." He looked around, counting and making sure everyone was there. He smiled at his granddaughters. He looked at Bilbo with a thoughtful look before settling down himself. Outside, Beorn was guarding the house, growling at the scent of orcs. He walked around the house at the end of the woods. That night everyone slept soundly under his protection and Gandalf couldnt be more at ease that night. Everyone was safe and sound and that's all that mattered to him.

Chapter 20
Yoh two updates. Are you excited? There gonna deal with the goblins now. Im so excited. I hope you guys like it. Onwards my readers
______________________________________________________________________________
Third Pov
Gandalf led the girls and Hades to the Misty Mountains. They were determined to meet the dwarves as soon as possible. Hopefully they didn't get into too much trouble. But knowing Thorin, they most likely are. As they got closer to the meeting place, Gandalf immediately stopped them. He seemed very troubled and squinted his eyes as he looked at the mountain.
"They have fallen into the Goblin kingdom. We must hurry. Come children."
He led them to a side entrance in the mountain. They followed him until they heard a voice. The Goblin King. They managed to hide and look at the commotion and saw the dwarves huddling together. They couldn't hear what he was saying but they had already read the book and watched the movie so they knew what was going on. Lilith noticed that Bilbo wasn't there and sighed with relief. He's with Gollum which means he has the ring. Anyway she paid attention to what the Goblin King was saying when she heard yelling and shouting and then her fathers voice.
"Wait!" Thorin stepped forward.
"Well, well, well, look who it is! Thorin, son of Thrain, son of Thror, King Under The Mountain. Oh, but I'm forgetting, you don't have a mountain. And you're not a
king. Which makes you nobody, really. But I know someone who would pay a pretty price for your head. Just the head, nothing attached. Perhaps you know of whom I speak. A vengeful enemy of yours."
"Azog the Defiler was destroyed. He was slain in battle long ago."
"So you think his defiling days are done, do you. Send word to the Pale Orc. Tell him I have found his prize."
The messenger giggled as he went on his way. The girls looked at each other in concern but knew they couldn't stop him because Thorin had to know the truth and this was the only way. The Goblin King started singing again as the goblins started bringing the torture devices. The dwarves fought against the goblins, trying to get their weapons but they were outnumbered. One of the goblins became curious as he picked up Orcrist and unsheathed it, not knowing that it was the goblin cleaver. He shrieked and threw it on the floor, causing the Goblin King to turn his attention to it and climb on his throne in fear.
"I know that sword. It is the Goblin Cleaver, the biter, the blade that sliced a thousand necks. Slash them, beat them, kill them. Kill them all."
The dwarves were being ambushed by the dwarves. Thorin was knocked down by multiple goblins, holding him down as they tried to cut off his head. The dwarves fought against the goblins but it was all in vain. There were just too many of them. Just when they thought all hope was lost, a quick flash of light surrounded the air knocking everyone on the floor. It became dark then as it became brighter then saw a figure walking towards them. The girls walked up behind him with their weapons drawn and ready to defend their friends.
"Sorry we were late boys. Had some issues with a certain white wizard."
The girls grinned at them .Hades was there growling at the goblins. The dwarves looked at them in awe. They looked so different but they looked strong and powerful. They couldn't be prouder of them. Gandalf then took over. He had his sword in one hand and his staff in the other.
"Take up arms. Fight. Fight!"
That seemed to get the dwarves up, ready to fight back. They got their weapons and started fighting back. The girls joined in but Renee decided to stay back, using her bow instead of her sword. She started killing the goblins that were further out. The goblins attacked Gandalf but he was prepared. He started killing them with his sword, Lilith and Hades following behind him.
"Hades, help out the others. Protect them!"
youtube
All of a sudden the goblin king jumps up through the bridge causing all of them to stop. All their weapons were trained on him ready to attack if necessity. Gandalf was in front with Renee and Kate whileLilith and Hades were next to Thorin. The Goblin King was now grinning at them as they were now trapped.
"You thought you could escape me?"
He started attacking Gandalf with his club causing him to go backwards and almost fall but Nori and Ori helped him back up. Renee was by his side in seconds, holding him up.
"You bastard, you're gonna pay for hurting my grandpa. Ill fucking burn you to ashes you asshole."
Her eyes started glowing orange and she was ready to run at him but Gandalf stopped her. Kate pulled her to stand at her side, while he stepped forward.
"Oh looking here. What are you going to do now, wizard?"
Gandalf then stepped forward and rammed hisnstaff in the goblin king's eye causing him to howl in pain and step back.He sliced his stomach. The Goblin King screamed and looked at the cut, falling onto his knees. He looked at them once more.
"That'll do it."
Gandalf swung his sword at its head and the Goblin King fell down, finally dead.
But The goblin king's body was too heavy for the small bridge. The wood on the bridge started to crack causing everyone to shake.
"Why does he have to be so fucking fat? Everyone get ready."
As Lilith shouted, the bridge finally gave out and they all started falling as well as some of the goblins. It was like they were riding a surfboard. Thorin held on to Lilith to make sure she didn't fall off or get too hurt. Renee and Kate were holding on to each other as they screamed. One with fear, the other with excitement. You can figure out who was who.
As they were falling, the part of the bridge they were on started falling apart and they fell down a dark hole. Luckily the bridge still held together and everyone held on until finally they reached the bottom. The fall was hard but thank goodness some of the beams slowed down the impact a bit. Everyone was groaning in pain but that was a sign that everyone was alive. Gandalf immediately got up and helped the girl;s. Hades got out from under the ruble and shook the dust and wood off. Everyone was so relieved but of course Bofur just had to say something.
"Well That could've been worse."
Literally a second later, the Goblin King's body fell on top of them, causing everyone to groan. The girls just facepalmed.
"You've got to be joking."
"You spoke way too soon, Bofur."
Kate chuckled at Dwalin and Renee's statements. The girls started helping the others. As Renee went to help Kili out, they saw hordes of goblins coming down the mountain, way too many.
"Gandalf."
Gandalf looked up, eyes widening at the sight. Soon everyone saw the hordes of goblins coming their way. Renee turned to the girls.
"There's too many. We can't fight them."
"Only one thing will save us. Daylight. Come on, on your feet."
The dwarves were finally free from the ruble. They got their stuff and started following Gandalf. They ran through the dark and narrow tunnels until finally they saw a light.
"Come on quickly. This way."
They ran until they finally felt the sunlight on their faces but they didnt stop. They ran until they were a good distance away. They gathered around a group of rocks. Gandakf started counting to make sure everyone was alive.
"Fili , Kili, that's 12...and Bombur that makes 13. Wait where ar-" He was looking for the girls. He turned around and they were standing behind him. He sighed in relief. The girls were alright. His grandchildren were alright. He then turned and saw that Bilbo was not with them.
"Where's Bilbo? Where is our hobbit? Where is our hobbit?!"
Everyone started looking around, panicked. The girls knew what Bilbo was near. Renee felt his presence as they were running. She shared a look with the girls.
"Curse that halfling. Now he's lost."
"I thought he was with Dori."
"Don't blame me."
"Well where did you last see him?"
"I think I saw him slip away when they first collared us."
"What happened? Tell me what happened."
"I'll tell you what happened. Master Baggins saw his chance and he took it. He thought of nothing but his soft bed and warm house sincere first stepped out of his door. We will not be seeing our hobbit again. He's long gone."
Everyone looked down as Their king spoke. The girls were pissed. Of course he would say that about their papa.
"You lying, slimy son of a bitch."
Everyone turned and saw Renee's eyes glowing orange. Kate wanted to step in but she knew it wasn't a good idea.
"Do you have any idea of what you are saying? How dare you insult our father like that. Papa wouldn't leave no matter what. You stuck up prick."
"She's right. How could you say that, father? Had he not been here, you would all be troll food. You are so full of yourself. It's thanks to him that you're alive. He took us in. For 6 months he took care of us, loved us as if we were his children. Sure Kate is his actual daughter but still. He let you eat his food, destroy the house and so much more. Have you no respect for others? I can't believe you're my father. Because I know my father wouldn't say those awful things. So take it back, you bastard. Take it back!"
Lilith was screaming at Thorin who stood his ground against his daughter. Renee was besides Gandalf as he was trying to calm her down due to her power. Kate was crying in Fili's arms. Kili put his hand on her arm while the two brothers were glaring at their uncle. Kate eventually started to come down and pulled away from Fili, giving him a small smile. He kissed her forehead. She turned around and held Fili's hand, hidden of course. Renee was calmed down and walked over to Kate.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine. Don't worry."
Renee smiled back and stood beside her. Kili held her hand as a sign of comfort. She accepted. His love for her was so strong. He hated seeing her sad. It killed him to see her so sad.
"No he's not."
Everyone turned to the sound of Bilbo's voice. He was standing next to Balin, smiling at them. The girls were so happy they ran to him and gave him a big hug.
"Papa you're okay. We missed you so much."
They pulled back and looked at him before glaring at him.
"Don't ever do that again."
He smiled at them before nodding. Hade barked and nuzzled his leg. Bilbo turned to the others as Renee and Kate went back to the brothers. Lilith stayed and stood next to Balin.
"Bilbo Baggins. I've never been so glad to see anyone in my life."
"Bilbo, we've given you up."
"How'd you get past the goblins?"
"How indeed."
The girls knew how but didn't say anything. He chuckled awkwardly as he put his hands near his pockets and slipped something inside. Gandalf and the girls saw what it was. The Ring. They knew that Bilbo had run into Gollum. They shared a look with Gandalf.
"Well what does it matter? He's back."
"It matters. I want to know. Hey, did you come back?"
"Look, I know you doubt me. I know you always have. And you're right. I often think of Bag End. I miss my books, my armchair, and my garden. See, that's where I belong.
That's home. And you don't have one, a home. It was taken from you. But I will help you take it back if I can. And I also couldn't leave my girls.. They might need me. And I'll need to make sure they're safe."
The dwarves were taken aback. Slowly, it dawned on them: Bilbo cared. Gandalf, impressed, shared a warm smile with the hobbit. The girls were so proud of him. Thorin realised how wrong he was and looked at his daughter. He saw her smiling and giving Balin a hug.
But all good things come to an end. Howls filled the air and everyone looked towards the sounds. Gandalf knew what was coming. Thorin looked to Gandalf, wide eyed.
"Out of the frying pan -"
"And into the fire. Run. Run!"
Well here we go. Same song and dance. Except this time they're gonna learn something amazing. And something completely horrifying. Well at least for the Line of Durin. Let's hope Thorin can handle it.
____________________________________________________________________
OOF damn Thorin you just yelled at by your kid😂 Bitch deserved it though but its fine we still love him. Chapter 19
Heyyyyyyy everyone it has been so long. I have been super busy with university and exams. I haven't really had a chance to update but now I can. Please forgive me for the late update. Being an adult sucks. Dont let anyone tell you any different. Anyway here you go. I hope you're excited. Onwards. my readers.
_______________________________________________________________________________
Lilith's Pov
Finally I can drag this motherfucker. Everyone was looking at us. Renee and Kate were just waiting for the show to start. Saurman looked a bit scared which made me even more happy. Time to expose this bitch.
"Now Im sure everyone is wondering what the fuck is going on. I'll tell you. This bitch here is a fucking traitor."
"That is absurd. Child, you are completely delusional."
"Yea...I think the fuck not. You see were from a whole different world where this, the quest, the necromancer, is a book. A famous one that my sisters and I read when we were younger. We know what you do. You betray everyone. You help Sauron. You are responsible for so many people's lives as well as betray everything you were meant to stand for. You allow orcs to raid villages and create chaos for power. Trust me when I say, I'm not being delusional about something as serious as this. My sisters and I can't allow you to do that. You may be the head of the white council but that doesn't mean you can't be replaced. You're not worthy of your position and my sisters agree with me."
"You are unwell, child. I would never help Sauron."
"Are you calling me a liar?"
"Yes I am."
"What about you guys? Do you think I'm lying?"
I looked at the others. Renee looked ready to punch this bitch and I sure as hell ain't going to stop her. Gandalf seemed lost in thought. I couldn't tell what grandma thought but I think she knows I'm telling the truth. Grandpa didn't want to believe me, I could tell by his facial expression. He knew I was right but to go against your oldest friend and trust the word of your grandchild that you only found out about not too long ago, he didn't know what to believe anymore.
"Hell no sis. This bitch needs to realise he aint all high and mighty. Please Grandpa, Lily wouldn't lie about this. Look through our memories if you want. We know we're telling the truth."
Renee was pleading with Gandalf. After what seemed like hours, Lady G walked to Saurman and everyone held their breaths.
"You dare to call my great grandchildren liars? They have never lied about anything since they came here. I will give you one chance to come forward. Are you working with Sauron? I suggest you answer honestly."
Everyone's eyes were on him and watched as he shrunk under Lady G's glare. My sisters and I walked up to them and glared as well, hoping it would be intimidating enough to scare him. He better fess up or I swear I'm going to beat the shit out of him.
Third Pov
Saurman knew that he couldn't talk his way out of this. Those annoying girls had outed him. He needed to get rid of them. It's going to be a lot harder because of just how powerful they were, especially Renee, even if she didn't know it.
He immediately put his staff in front of him and started muttering something, closing his eyes. All of a sudden, everything around them started to darken and wind started surrendering Saurman. Gandalf stood in front of the girls while Lord Elrond stood with his back towards Saurman, shielding Lady G. Gandalf tried to stop Saruman's muttering but he was too late. The wind suddenly stopped and the sky became light once more. Everyone looked up and turned to where Saurman was but found no sign of him. He used that trick as a distraction so he could escape. Renee rushed to the edge of the balcony in hopes of finding him but there was no trace. She turned to the others, noticing how Lord Elrond was extremely quiet and in shock because of what he had just learned.
"Grandpa, are you okay?" Lilith was in front of him, holding his hands. Kate stood by Lady G who gave her a hug, while she kept apologising. Lord Elrond looked at her and softly smiled. "My child, this is not your fault. I am just very shocked. One of my oldest friends turns out to have betrayed us. I'm just glad that it was brought to our attention before it was too late. You remind me so much of your mother. I'm so proud of you, all of you."
The girls smiled with teary eyes and Lilith hugged him with so much love. Renee walked up to Kate and pulled her into a side hug. Eventually the girls stood behind Lilith, who turned to Lady G.
"We can't delay, we have to go. The company needs us. Girls, let's get ready."
The girls nodded and walked to their room to get their stuff. They immediately got their bags packed and were getting their weapons together. They heard a knock on the door and looked up to see Lord Elrond coming in with some sort of clothing. He put them on their bed as the girls walked up to him.
'What's all this?"
"I noticed that your outfits aren't going to help you much if you run into orcs. I thought these could be of better use. Plus it will help to connect your magic more. Lilith, this belonged to your mother, take it my dear. Kate, this belonged to a very powerful water user thousands of years ago. Here you go my child. And Renee, this belonged to your ancestors. When you transform back into a human, these will remain so you don't need to worry about ripping your clothes every time you transform. Here you go, young one."
Kate's POV
Lord Elrond handed me a beautiful blue V-neck with leather shoulder pads. It was short in the front and long in the back. The pants were brown with blue stripes running vertically along it. There were lots of straps that were useful for me to easily access my weapons. There were brown thigh boots with space for a small dagger on each leg. There were these beautiful brown fingerless gloves. They were stiff and study but comfortable so it wouldn't cause any issues when I fight. It was so beautiful and I couldn't believe that Grandpa was giving this to me.

Lilith's POV
Grandpa handed me something my mom used to wear when she went on missions and patrol. It was a green short sleeve. There was a thick silver belt that covered my waist with a sliver shoulder pad over both shoulders except one was shorter and made from a dragon's skin. There were lots of belts. It had black tights and knee high brown boots. On my left thigh, there was a leather material with a belt around my upper thigh. One part of the shirt was longer and went till the middle of my right thigh. There was a chainmail underneath, There were two belts to hold and weapons on my hips. My gloves were fingerless except for my pointer and middle fingers and they were green. There were belt like arm guards that covered most of it. Damn, mom had taste. He gave me a blue cloak that was made from dragon skin. Grandpa handed me a small brown bag and said mom used to carry her healing potions and ingredients. I looked inside and saw lots of stuff that I needed and a small book about healing and potions. I smiled at grandpa, which he returned.

Renee's POV
Lord Elrond then turned to me and gave me a red cloak that had a hood. He then gave me brown arm guards and fingerless gloves. Then he handed me a long sleeve red shirt that had slits in the sides and was longer in the front and middle. He handed me brown pants and reddish brown boots. He handed me some gold shoulder pads and then he handed me a brown corset with a long piece at the back that went till my calves and it covered the back of my legs. There were a lot of belts to hold my weapons. I cant believe these belonged to my ancestors. They had good taste and I don't have to worry about ripping them when I transform. Convenient, am I right?!

Third POV
The girls hugged Lord Elrond, who graciously returned. They pulled away and looked at him with smiles.
"Grandpa, they are so beautiful. Thank you. We love them so much."
He just waved off their thanks with a smile. "I'm glad you like it. I will leave you to get dressed."
He left them to get changed. The girls quickly got changed and added their weapons. They looked at themselves in the mirror and couldn't help but fall in love with their outfits.
"We look so hot. Can't believe my ancestors made this. Its so fucking cool."
"Whoa, can't believe mom used to wear this."
"Damn, the previous water user had such great taste."
They finished looking and their stuff, double checking that they had everything one last time before leaving the room. They walked to the entrance where the others were waiting. Lord Elrond was speaking to Lady G and Gandalf about who knows what. Probably Sauron. They made themselves known , causing the three to go silent and look at the girls. They had such nostalgic and sad looks. Lady G came up to them with a small smile.
"You all look very beautiful. Lilith, you look so much like your mother. Katherine, I can definitely see your fathers features in you. And Renee, you look like your mother when she was younger. You all will do great things one day. I am proud of all of you."
"Thanks grandma. We'll make you proud. Right Girls?"
Renee and Kate both nodded with determination. Lord Elrond came up to them and nodded at them with a big smile. They were so ready to take down those orcs and they were more than ready to protect the line of Durin. Gandalf cleared his throat, letting them know it was time. The girls hugged Lord Elrond and Lady G one last time. They ran up to Gandalf who looked at them with so much love. He was proud of them. Just as they were about to leave, a bark was heard. They turned and saw Hades running this way. He seemed to have grown a bit. He stopped in front of the girls, he stopped at their thighs.
Are you ready Little One?
Yes. I am ready to follow you to the end of the earth. Lets go get your home back.
That's my boy. Remember we all have each other's backs okay. So you gotta also protect the girls and the dwarfs. They're our family.
Yes Lily. No one will hurt our family. I'll make sure of it
Atta boy. Now let's go kill some orc and save our family.
Lilith hugged him and patted his head, causing him to respond with a happy bark. She stood up and turned to her sisters and Gandalf.
"Who's ready to go kill some orc?!"
The girls cheered and with that the five of them were heading towards the Misty Mountains to find their silly dwarves because knowing them they are in some kind of trouble. They were ready for what was about to come. They will reclaim Erebor and return the dwarves to their home no matter what. They'll make sure of it.
_____________________________________________________________________________
Omg that was absolutely badass. Yessss Lily gave him hell and humbled him so quickly. And the girls outfits look absolutely gorgeous. I had to look to fin d the best ones then my I lost like half of my photos and I had to go look for new ones. But I love them so much. Tell me what you think in the comments.

The girls were getting ready to meet the White Council. Gandalf explained to Thorin that it would be best if the girls went with him. He wasn't happy about that and neither was Bilbo, because they were their daughters and they feared what could happen. The girls reassured them and the rest of the company that they'd be fine and they would be with Gandalf and Lord Elrond.
Fili was scared to be parted from his love but Kate reassured him that it wouldn't be forever and they would be reunited soon. He knew she was right but still didn't like it. The others didn't know of their relationship so they went to the fountain where they confessed their love for one another. They shared a passionate kiss, Fili putting all his love in the kiss so that Kate knew how much he loved her and she returned it with just as much love. He put his forehead to hers, whispering in Khuzdul that he loved her. When they parted and returned to the group, she gave him a reassuring smile. She hugged the others goodbye.
Meanwhile with Renee, she reassured the group that they would delay the council for as long as possible. She gave them a reassuring smile, knowing they were not happy about it. They had come to love the girls as their kin. Plus they were the babies of the group so they hated it even more. Kili wasn't happy about it. He hated that they would stay back. He wanted them with the group, he wanted Renee with him so that he could protect her and put his mind at ease, knowing she was safe by his side but he knew that this was the best option. Renee noticed that Kili was extremely quiet, which was very weird considering how much of a menace. She walked over to him and sat down next to him.
"Are you okay Kee?"
"I just wish there was another option, one where you all come with us but Gandalf's right. This is the best option."
"Hey, it's not forever. We'll be together soon. All of us. Besides you guys need us so much that you'd probably unintentionally insult someone if we weren't there to put you in your place. But I mean it, I won't let anything keep us apart. Not even death."
"You better. I can't lose you, Renee. Or Kate or Lili. Mainly because one is my family and the other will become my sister...hopefully. "
"Yea, they thought they were subtle. But I'm happy for them. Kate deserves to be happy."
"They do. I'm happy to call Kate my sister and Lili my cousin."
"And me? What am I to you?"
Kili looked Renee in her eyes. She looked so ethereal and beautiful. She had the most beautiful doe eyes he had ever seen. She looked almost innocent. He couldn't tell her, fear of rejection. He loved her. He put his hand on her cheek, rubbing his thumb on her cheek with a soft smile.
"I don't think I can say just how important you are to me. It would take forever."
He leaned down and kissed her forehead, whispering something in Khuzdul that she didn't understand before walking away. She just stood there, not sure what to think. He kissed her. Could he- No he can't. He can't love her. He's a dwarf prince. It would never work. She watched him talking to Ori. She knew she had fallen for him. And she fell hard. She looked around for her sisters and saw Lilith standing next to her father. She felt her chest tighten. She wished her father was still here. She missed him so much. And her mother. She wanted her parents back.
Soon it was time for the girls to leave with Gandalf. Renee quickly hugged Kili with the reassurance that they would be together again soon. They walked behind him as they made their way to where Lord Elrond was waiting for them. They walked behind Gandalf and Lord Elrond as the two spoke. As they spoke they made their way to the meeting place of the White Council.
"With or without our help, these dwarves will march on the mountain. They're determined to reclaim their homeland. I do not believe Thorin Oakenshield feels that he is answerable to anyone. Nor, for that matter, am I."
"It is not me you must answer to."
There at the edge of the cliff stood the Lady of Light herself. Lady Galadriel had her back towards them, hair flowing down like golden waves of water. Her dress was so long it went down the stairs where she stood. She had a beautiful silver circle on her head, with patterns resembling roots intertwining with one another. She looked breath taking. The girls gaped at her beauty.
Lilith's Pov
Holy shit my great-grandma is hot as fuck. Now I know where I got my beauty from. Seriously though, she's gorgeous. I wanted to look away so I didn't seem creepy but I couldn't. I immediately snapped out of my trance and hit my sisters' sides, causing them to snap out of their trance and turn to glare at me. We turned our attention back to the others.
Lady Galadriel turned around and I noticed her circlet had blue gems on it, possibly sapphires. I looked at her face. She looked so young, no wrinkles or lines anywhere. You'd find it hard to believe she was 8,372 years old. She looked like she was in her late thirties. I wonder what the secret is. Gandalf finally spoke.
'Lady Galadriel."
"Mithrandir. It has been a long time."
"Age may have changed me but not so the Lady of Lórien."
Damn, dude's got moves. Lady G smiled at him and Grandpa just looked at him in amusement. Renee was chuckling at him while Kate was trying not to laugh.
"I had no idea lord Elrond had sent for you."
"He didn't."
"Hmm?"
"I did."
Gandalf closed his eyes as if he had just been caught stealing. I looked towards the sound of the voice and there stood the one person I've been wanting to give a piece of my mind to, Sauron's Cockwarmer aka Saurman the White. My sisters and I glared at him so hard that if looks could kill, he'd be dead 100 times. This man is a traitor and a coward. I hate him with everything I have. Gandalf turned towards him with a fake smile.
"Saurman"
"You've been busy of late, my friend."
He turned his attention to us.
"And who, pray tell, are they?"
I let Renee handle this because if I spoke I'd probably be in so much trouble with Kate and lose the remaining brain cells I have left.
"What are you fucking blind or something? We're ladies, the ones who are not afraid to insult you if you don't stop glaring at our wizard like that. The name's Renee, that's Kathrine but Kate will do and that's Lilith, Lord Elrond's granddaughter. Well I mean we're all his granddaughters because Lilith is our sister, Anyway that's done."
"Surely that's impossible. Lord Elrond's children have not married yet."
"Well obviously someone needs the birds and bees talk. His daughter Elenor, our mother, fell in love with a dwarf and she got pregnant and left through a magic cave. 9 months later, a baby girl was born, this one here. Any questions? No? Great. And before you ask, no Kate and I are not her biological daughters. She adopted us when we were 6. All caught up now? Now Lilith I know you want to rip him a new one so I'm going to let you get it out of your system here and now because you look ready to burst. Everyone else, just watch the drama unfold and can we get some snacks by any chance? I'm starving!"
I could see the steam coming out of her ears. Everyone just stared at her for a few minutes after a long minute or two and looked at me.
"Okay, first of all, It is lovely to meet an old friend of my Grandfather, Lady Galadriel. I hope that we can become well acquainted and I hope to hear your stories about my mother. Second of all, Reni, thank you."
I said while looking at Lady G and gave an evil smile. One that would rival the Grinch's.
"Now...You."
I said slowly turning to the little bitch- I mean Saurman the white with a calm smile on my face. I could see the fear shine in his eyes. I remember that Lady G can communicate telepathically.
Lady Galadriel?
Yes, child?
I need to show you what is going to happen in 60 years, we come from a world where Middle Earth is a novel. Anyway, there is The Hobbit, which takes place now and The Lord of The Rings, which takes place in 60 years. In short, Saurman turns his back on everything and goes to work with Sauron. He tries to get the ring so he can give it to his master and tries to kill Gandalf. The thing is we have reason to believe that he has been secretly working for him for a while now. Why else would he be against the Dwarves getting their rightful home back?
That is a lot to take in, child. But I believe you, myself, have been suspicious of him for a while now as well. What do you plan to do?
Oh, I plan to expose him.
Well then, your friend was right, we will be needing snacks.
"Tell me, Saurman, why don't you want my father and his people to have their home back? And don't give me 'It's not the right time' or 'It's too dangerous' shit because we both know that's not it.-"
"Excuse me, don't talk to me like that you little brat!-"
"And don't you fucking interrupt me you old sleaze bag!
I was so ready to expose him but then of course Kate just had to ruin all my fun. As usual.
"Lilith enough. I know you want to go off but please not now. And Renee, stop encouraging her. We are guests so behave yourself both of you. Let's just get this over and done with then you can go nuts. I promise."
I groaned but I knew if I didn't do as she said, I'd be in so much trouble. I glared at him before moving to where my sisters stood. Gandalf sat down and across from him sat Saurman. We decided to stand behind Gandalf while grandpa stood off to the side and Lady G walked around. Renee and I hated the fact that we had to wait to expose that fucking bastard.
"Tell me Gandalf, did you think these plans and schemes of yours would go unnoticed?"
"Unnoticed? No, I-I'm simply doing what I feel to be right."
"The dragon has long been on your mind."
"That is true, my lady. Smaug owes his allegiance to no one. But if he should side with the enemy, a dragon could be used to terrible effect."
"What enemy? Gandalf the enemy is defeated. Sauron is vanquished. He can never regain his full strength."
"Gandalf, for 400 years, we have lived in peace, a hard-won, watchful peace."
"Are we? Are we at peace? Trolls have come down from the mountains. They are raiding villages, destroying farms. Orcs have attacked on the road."
"Hardly a prelude to war."
"Always you must meddle, looking for trouble where none exists."
"Hey. You better watch it. I don't care who the fuck you are but no one disrespects our wizard."
"Renee enough."
Renee looked ready to fucking kill him and strangle him with her hands. Luckily Kate stopped her before she could. I can't believe this asshole. Lady G interrupted.
"Let him speak." I smiled at her in thanks. She returned it with a nod.
"There is something at work beyond the evil of Smaug. Something more powerful. We can remain blind to it but it will not be ignoring us, that I can promise you. A sickness lies over Greenwood. The woodsmen who live there now call it Mirkwood. And they...they say..."
"Well? Don't stop now. Tell us what the woodsmen say."
"They speak of a necromancer living in Dol Guldur. A sorcerer who can summon the dead."
'That's absurd. No such power exists in this world. This necromancer is nothing more than a mortal man. A conjurer dabbling in black magic."
"How would you know? Did you investigate? Or are you so prideful that you can't admit that maybe you missed something and could be very wrong? What do you think girls?"
My sisters nodded, agreeing with me. I smirked at him. I knew he would deny it. He's already fallen to the dark side. I just have to get him to admit it. Besides Lady G seems to believe me.
" I thought so as well. But Radagast has seen-"
"Radagast?! Do not speak to me of Radagast the Brown. He's a foolish fellow."
"Well, he's odd, I grant you. He lives a solitary life"
"It's not that. It's his excessive consumption of mushrooms. They've addled his brain and yellowed his teeth. I warned him. It is unbefitting one of the Isatri to be wandering the woods-"
Renee's Pov
I've had enough of this bitch.
"I'd stop talking if I were you. Lilith looks ready to blow."
"Oh I am. Who the fuck do you think you are, insulting others? Radagast is an amazing wizard and yes he's odd but that is what makes him unique. Not everyone can act like there's a stick up their ass. And also the way you insult and belittle Gandalf, he is a much better wizard than you are. He actually cares about this world while all you care about is power and staying on top. I've seen men like you and I hate them with a passion. I despise people like you. The Isatri are supposed to watch over and protect middle earth but you just blatantly ignore the evil that is trying to return. Damn you're worse than Thorin. I ought to wring your fucking neck but then Kate would kill me and Id like to not die just yet. Thank you for your time." MIC DROP
While Lilith was talking or more like threatening Saurman, Gandalf seemed lost in thought. I guessed that he was having a conversation with Lady G telepathically. I could hear them discussing something in my head and I knew immediately that it had to be about the blade. My guess was right when he reached in his robes and took out the blade that Radagast gave him before they were chased with orcs. He placed it on the table, drawing everyone's attention. Lord Elrond uncovered it, revealing the morgul blade. I could feel the darkness surrounding it, making me groan. It felt like someone was calling for me, seducing me to the dark side. I looked away from it, unable to handle the pain anymore. I felt a hand on my shoulder and saw Lady G looking at me with a soft smile. I returned it, letting her know that I was okay. I felt her enter my mind.
My child you have great power within you. I sense a power that has been lost for a long time.
That explains why I got affected when I saw the blade. Do I have darkness in me? Can you help me make sense of this?
My dear child, you hold an ancient and strong power. You hail from an old race, one that was said to be wiped out long ago. I can feel your confusion. Do not fear young one, there is no darkness in you. Have faith, my child.
My attention went back to the current problem.
"What is that?"
"A relic of Mordor."
"A Morgul blade."
"Made for the Witch-king of Angmar and buried with him. When Angmar fell, the men of the north took his body and all that he possessed and sealed it within the High Fells of Rhudaur. Deep within the rock, they buried him. In a tomb so dark, it would never come to light."
"Damn, it sounds like my kind of place. No too mention, no people that can talk back. Ooh sign me the fuck up. And not to mention mystery. Oooh this is giving me ideas for a story. I can't wait-."
Kate hit the back of my head, shaking her head while Lilith rolled her eyes at me. They were so done with me.
"This is not possible. A powerful spell lies upon those tombs. They cannot be opened."
"What proof do we have that this weapon came from Angmar's grave?"
"I have none."
"Because there is none. Let us examine what we know. A single orc pack has dared to cross the Bruinen. A dagger from the bygone age has been found. And a human sorcerer who calls himself the Necromancer has taken up refuge in an old ruined fortress. It's not very much, after all. The question of this Dwarvish company, however, troubles me deeply. I'm not convinced, Gandalf. I do not feel I can condone such a quest. If they'd come to me, I might have spared them this disappointment. I do not pretend to understand your reason for raising their hopes..."
He just kept going on and on. I swear does he ever shut up? I mean seriously, I'm surprised I haven't cut my ears off with how annoying he is. I just looked at him with a bored expression, Kate was emotionless but Lilith? She was seething with anger. I mean who wouldn't. Dude literally disrespected her father, I literally do the same. Plus he insulted Gandalf. More of a reason to hate him. I heard footsteps and turned to the entrance to see Lindir walking towards us with a panicked look.
"My Lord Elrond, the dwarves, they've gone."
I looked at Gandalf and gave him a small smirk. He gave me a wink. The girls looked at me and we smirked. Now they can't stop them from reclaiming Erebor Soon Lady G came up to me. My guess, to tell me how I was able to sense the darkness surrounding the blade.
"My dear, tell me, have you heard of the Kharonn Clan?"
"No, never."
She then explained who they were. They were a race that had fire powers and could manipulate it to their will. They could sense and feel darkness which often came in handy, they had phoenix abilities, even transform into one but only the truly skilled and powerful were able to. They got visions which would explain a lot considering that I've been having visions a lot lately. But they also had another secret, they had dragon magic running through their veins. They had the strength and power of a dragon. They were even able to transform into one on command. I was in such shock that I started walking backwards until I hit the table, leaning against it. This was a lot to take in. But what I didn't understand was how I could be one of them. I wasn't born in Middle Earth nor did my parents have any magic.
"But that can't be. I wasn't born in Middle Earth. Neither of my parents possessed magical abilities."
"Who were your parents?"
"Um, my mom's name was Aurora and my dad's name was Ragnar. I just thought he had an ancient heritage so I didn't really look into it. I had a brother Tommy but he died four years ago."
" I know Those names. I knew your mother well. In fact so did Gandalf, better than anyone. She was indeed also from the Kharonn clan. He was a very powerful warrior. Her power could rival the dark lord. I always wondered what happened to her and her family."
"My mother was a Kharonn? I never knew that. She died when I was four alongside my dad. They never told us anything about it. They didn't get a chance. But how did they...wait that's it, of course, they went through the portal. I must have still been in my mothers womb. Like Lilith and mama. What I'm still trying to understand is how You knew my parents Gandalf? Were you good friends of theirs?"
"Yes I guess you could say that. They were very important to me."
"You must tell her Mithrandir. She must know."
"I must know what?"
"My dear child, your mother was the most important person in my life. My wife and I loved her so much. When she left, it broke my heart."
He put his hands on my shoulders as I listened to him speak. I'm still so confused. I looked at him in confusion until my eyes widened in realisation. He. He's my Grandfather. Gandalf the Grey is my Grandfather. I had a family. My eyes teared up as I looked up at him. He looked at me with a soft smile.
"Yes My dear. Your mother was my daughter. You are my granddaughter. I figured it out that night in Bag End. I just didn't know how to tell. I'm sorry for keeping this a secret my child."
I stepped back before literally screaming:
"Holy shit!!!! Gandalf the Grey is my grandfather?! I have a wizard for a grandfather!!! Whoa didn't see that coming, Ah but that explains why I was always so comfortable and safe around you. Cool, cool, cool, cool. Okay so let me get this straight (HEHE STRAIGHT), my parents were from Middle Earth, I'm part of an ancient and powerful race, I have fire magic, my grandfather is the greatest wizard of all time, I can transform into a dragon on command and I'm super duper powerful. Ooh plus I'm half wizard. Damn this is the best day ever. I'm so happy you're my grandfather."
I hugged Gandalf, letting my tears fall. He held me in his embrace, rubbing my back in comfort. He placed a couple kisses on my head. I finally pulled back and looked up at him with a smile. He chuckled at my childishness before returning the smile. I looked at my sisters. They were smiling with tears in their eyes, Lord Elrond smiled at me and grandpa with a look of happiness. Lady G came up to me and put her hands on my shoulders. I turned around and hugged, thanking her for helping me find my family. But I still didn't know what race my father was.
"Um grandpa, I know mom was part wizard and part Kharonn but I still don't know what race dad was."
"Your father was a dwarf. He was a dwarf from Erebor actually. Ragnar, Son of Razor. He was a very strong and powerful dwarf. He saved your mother the first day they met. She was fighting a big pack of orcs by herself when he found her and helped her. They ran into each a few times after that before deciding to travel together. They fell in love and he asked to court her. They were courted for about 20 years before they finally got married. Your mother was with child a few years later and had your brother Tommy. A few years later she was with a child again, you. However word got out about your mother being Kharonn. Only her and your grandmother were left so they went after them. They killed your grandma. We decided that it was better if they disappeared completely. We came across the cave and that was the last time I saw or heard of them."
"Motherfuckers killed my grandma. Oh now I have more of a reason to kill those bastards. But what matters is that they didn't kill mom and dad. So I'm a third dwarf, a third wizard and a third Kharonn. That's so fucking awesome. I can turn into a dragon. Yes. All the chaos I can bring. Arson!! Don't worry I won't actually do anything like that. Maybe with orcs but that's it. I'm just so happy. Ooh maybe I can be the one to take on that overgrown lizard. Ooh I can see it now. I can't wait."
I ran to my sisters jumping up and down. I tugged on their sleeves until they eventually hit the back of my head. I groaned and pouted. How dare they hit me.
"What happened to your brother, my child?"
I looked at Lady G and remembered that Tommy will never get to meet grandpa. I immediately felt the mood dampen.
"Tommy...He was killed a few years ago. Some guy tried to take his money and anything valuable. He didn't comply so he ended up getting stabbed. The guy just left him for dead. The police called us a few hours later. We all miss him very much."
She looked at us with a sad smile. I looked at grandpa. I could tell that he missed tommy. I could feel his pain and anger. But I could also feel his sadness and heartbreak. He'll never get to meet his little boy. I hugged grandpa tightly, making him return it and giving me a kiss on my forehead. At least he's still alive in our hearts. Soon everyone had made peace with Tommy's death. I realised that bastard Saurman was still here. He looked completely angry. Not surprised. I turned to Lilith.
"Okay now you can rip him a new one...again. He disrespected my grandpa, our friends and I know that you want to expose him so he's all yours sis. Everyone else, I suggest you take a seat, get some snacks and watch the drama unfold." Kate and I sat in the steps, smirking at what was about to happen. Lady G and grandpa stood next to us and they looked somewhat excited. Lord Elrond just looked at us extremely confused as did Lindir.
This is where the fun begins.

YAY Renee found her family. And its freaking Gandalf. Who wouldn't want Gandalf as a grandfather. Anyway You're probably super duper confused about the whole Kharonn thing. So I was trying to come up with an ancient race that was supposed to be gone but obviously wasn't. We will dive deeper into Renee's heritage as the story progresses. My co writer Chloe got this idea frim Criminal minds and we just changed it up a bit. So I've had this idea for a long time. I know that everyone is waiting to see Lilith literally tear Saurman apart but you need to wait for the next chapter. I don't know when that will be because soon Ill be going camping with my family and I wont be allowed to bring my laptop. So hopefully within in the next week I can update it before I have to worry about University again. Please bare with me. I'm not the best at time management. Also please let me know if you want me to share pics of my camping trip. And don't be afraid to comment and vote. Well I got to go. See you soon. Byeeeeeeee.
The parts that are in italics and underlined is Lady G speaking telepathically.

Kate's Pov
To say that everyone was surprised would be an understatement. I'm pretty sure one or two of them fainted. I mean it's not every day that they find out that Thorin Oakenshield has a daughter who is part-elven and who has been with them since the beginning of the trip. But once we passed all of that, they cheered and gave Lilith hugs, congratulating her. Fili and Kili were beyond happy to have a cousin. They hugged her so tight, I'm surprised that she didn't burst, Balin gave her a warm smile and hug, welcoming her to the family. Renee and I just stood on the side, looking at how happy everyone was. We couldn't be happier for Lilith. I found my father and Lilith found her family. I looked at Reni with a sad look. She doesn't have a family anymore. She's the last one. It's not fair. They should be here.
It was night-time now and everyone was sitting around the fire. The girls and I decided to tell them the truth. The dwarves were surprised to learn that they were from a famous book. Renee explained how we got here.
"So you went into a cave and saw a pool inside it. Then walked out and found yourselves here?"
"Yep. We know it's weird. I mean we were surprised when we realised we were no longer home. But now I'm glad it happened. Lilith found her family and I found my father. Still a bit mad that Mama didn't tell us but I don't blame her."
Renee nodded. Lilith was sitting in between Balin and Thorin. She had her head on Thorin's shoulder. His arm wrapped around her back and his coat around them both. Soon Bofur took over, telling stories about the Blue Mountains. Everything just felt right. I smiled at my new family. I couldn't ask for anything better. My eyes gravitated to Fili. He was smoking his pipe, leaning against the wall with his legs up, laughing with his brother at Bofur' s story. He looked so beautiful. I couldn't help the blush that made its way to my face. I can't seem to get him out of my mind since Bag End. I needed some time to myself. I got up and excused myself and walked around. I stopped when I found a small pond. I sat down on the edge and put my hands in the water. It was so cool and comforting.
Then I thought, what if I had magic? I mean I did also go in the pool when I was a baby so maybe it did something to me. I decided to test that theory. My hand hovered above the water and I concentrated. The water rose from the pond to my hands, making him lose concentration and the water went back into the pond. I decided to try it again and the same thing happened. I stood up and watched as the water kept rising and I let out a surprised noise. I was able to manipulate water. I did some cool tricks that I saw in movies and TV shows. I laughed as I played with the water. It was all around me, entwining around my hands like vines but made of water. After a while I stopped, returning the water to the pond. I can't wait to tell the girls. They're going to freak out.
I heard footsteps coming up behind me. I turned around and saw Fili walking towards me. I smiled at him, making him return it with a wink. I just rolled my eyes.
"Well hello stranger. What are you doing here?"
"I was looking for you."
"Ooh did you miss me that much?"
"Of course my lady. It's boring when you are there. Plus I can't let you walk around alone. You might get lost."
I raised my eyebrow, a smirk making its way to my face, " Oh really? And you have the whole place mapped out? Oh, thank lord you came. I am saved. Now I won't have to worry about getting lost. My prince- no wait, My dwarf in shining armour. My hero."
I dramatically put my hands over my eyes and sighed. I started to laugh. He joined in. I waved him over and sat on the edge of the pond, he sat down next to me.
"Ah, that was fun."
"Aye, it was. Who knew you could be just as dramatic as Renee and Lilith."
"Where do you think they learned it from? Sure as hell wasn't the drama classes they had when they were younger. I'm just kidding. I just don't show it often. I leave that to the main drama queen; Reni, Lils, Thorin and Kili."
"Don't let Thorin hear you say that." I got up and turned to him, hands on my hips and standing on one leg.
"Or what? He's going to kill me with his majesticness? Or he's going to stare at me, hoping looks can kill? Please at least give me a challenge. Now, Reni, she's a challenge. You never know with that one. One time in school, I told this boy to shut up because I couldn't concentrate in class. He ignored me so I stabbed him in the hand with my pencil. Well next to his hand. He got angry and stabbed my hand with his pencil. When Reni found out, she was pissed. Confronted the dude to try and make him apologise to me but he just laughed. Reni's whole mood shifted. It was like she had no feelings or emotions. She walked up to him and kicked him in the stomach. Then she punched him in the face. She kept beating the shit out of him and almost broke his arm before I finally stopped her. She then said to him: "If you ever hurt my sister again, I will ruin your life, slit your throat in your sleep, burn your body, make everyone forget you ever existed and get people to feel sorry for me. And then still get away with it. You mess with my sisters, you mess with me" and walked away without care while he had a panic attack. Soon everyone heard about it and never messed with us again. Her mind goes blank and it's like someone else takes over. She has no memory of what she does when she's angry. That's why she just doesn't get angry. She'll get irritated or annoyed but never angry. And if she does, oh pray to whoever you believe in and say your goodbyes. You'll be dead before you even turn around. Lilith is kind of the same but she's not as dangerous as Reni unless you have royally screwed up."
"Reni doesn't seem like the type to do that but then again you never know. The boy got what he deserved. Now I know I will not get on her bad side."
"Yep, but she's only like that with loved ones. She's too kind for own good."
Fili nodded in agreement. They started talking about random stuff. Fili told stories about his childhood while Kate laughed and stood up to make sure she didn't fall over. Turns out that princes can be very mischievous. That explains why Thorin has grey hair. All of a sudden it was quiet so I turned to Fili and he was looking at me with that look again. When he saw me in that dress, I couldn't take my eyes off him. He walked to me, his eyes never leaving mine. When he was right in front of me, one of his hands cradled my face as he touched my forehead with his. I could feel his breath on my face. He put an arm around my waist pulling me against him, making me gasp as we stared into each other's eyes.
"Kate, I have to tell you something. I cannot wait any longer. I love you. I love you more than all the stars in the skies. I tried to deny it but I can't anymore. My heart belongs to you. You are my One."
Kate didn't know what to say. "You love me? But I'm a hobbit and you're a dwarf. A prince nonetheless."
"I don't care. I know what my heart wants. It wants you. But you do not need to say anything. I just want you to know."
He removed his arm from her waist and placed a soft kiss on her head. He turned to leave. Kate finally felt cold and realised that Fili had walked away. He loved her. Even though she wasn't a dwarf. But what did she feel? Did she love him? She thought back to the moment they met. How he blushed when he introduced himself, he covered her in his coat to make sure she didn't freeze. He was always there by her side. He made her feel safe and loved. She couldn't get him out of her head. She wondered why but now she knew, She was in love. With Fili. She had to tell him. He was almost out of her sight when she shouted.
"Fili, wait." He turned around and looked at her. She had tears running down her face. She walked to him as she spoke.
" Fili, at first I was scared. I've never felt like this before. I didn't know what this feeling meant. You never left my mind. You make me feel butterflies whenever you look at me. Whenever I'm with you, I feel safe and happy. You make me happy. I thought it would go away on its own but if anything, it just got worse. I tried to deny it, to run away from this feeling. But my heart wouldn't let go. I love you Fili. I have loved you since the night we met. I don't want to run from my feelings anymore. My heart belongs to you, it always has."
By the end I was in front of him, putting his face in my hands. His hands were wrapped around my waist, pulling me into him. Tears ran down his cheeks as he touched my forehead with his.
"Amrâlimê. I love you so much."
"I love you too, my love."
He leaned down, pulling me into a kiss. I closed my eyes, kissing him back. I wrapped my arms around his neck. It was passionate. It was full of love. His love. We pulled away, foreheads resting against each other as we looked into each other's eyes. I never thought this day would come. I never thought I'd fall in love. But now, I'm so happy I did. I sighed happily as he pulled me into his chest, cheek on my head. He placed a kiss on my forehead and ran his fingers through my hair. We stood like that for a few minutes. Nothing else mattered at that moment. It was just us, nothing else. I pulled back looking into his eyes with a smile. He brought my hand to his lips, kissing my knuckles. At the notion, I let out a giggle. And I never giggle. I was so happy. I never thought I'd ever find love. My sisters are going to tease the hell out of me. I put my head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat while he ran his fingers through my hair. We stayed like that for a while, just enjoying each other's company. I realised we'd been gone for too long. We had to get back to the others before they got suspicious but I don't want to leave. He's so fucking warm and cuddly. I pulled away, putting my hands on his chest and looking into his blue eyes.
"We have to head back. The others will get ideas and the last thing we need is my sisters making it worse."
He nodded with a smile, kissing my forehead. We walked back to the others, hands intertwined but as soon as we got close, we let go, smiling at each other as we parted ways. That did not go unnoticed by Renee and Kili. they smirked at each other. Damn it. Well, I know how I'm going to die. Teased to death by my annoying sisters. She caught my eyes, smirking and wiggling her eyebrows at me while I rolled my eyes and gave her the finger with an innocent expression. I loved pissing my sisters off. It's so much fun.
Third Pov
It was the next morning and the girls were busy training their powers in the forest near Rivendell. Katherine managed to manipulate water molecules to make water move in any form: Solid, liquid and gas. Lilith could control the plants around her and listen to nature and everything it was saying. A howl cried out, alerting the girls. They looked at each other before running to where the sound came from. They had their weapons out just in case. They came to a tree where the sound came from and saw a little black wolf pup with bright blue silver eyes crouching closer to the tree, scared and alone. The girls put their weapons away and put their hands out to show ads that they mean no harm. Lilith walked towards the little pup, not breaking eye contact and kneeling in front of it. It seemed to trust Lilith so it came out of hiding and walked slowly until it was right in front of her.
"Hi, sweetie. It's okay I'm not gonna hurt you and neither will my sisters."
Do you promise?
Lilith had no clue how but she could understand what the little pup was.
"Can you understand me little one?"
Yes.
"Okay, Why don't you tell me where your parents are?"
They're dead. I'm all alone.
"Oh, sweetie. It's okay. You want to come with me?"
The little wolf pup nodded its little head and ran into Lilith's arms. She stood up and rubbed its fur. Renee and Kate had confused looks on their faces. Lilith explained that she was able to understand what the pup was saying, They concluded that she was able to talk to animals. Renee rubbed the little one's head, smiling at it.
"Wait, is it a boy or a girl? We need to know if we're going to give it a name."
Lilith checked and confirmed it was a boy. The girls walked back to Rivendell, coming up with a name for the little guy.
"Hey, what about Hades? He reminds me of him from Percy Jackson, the book more than the movie."
"That's true. Well, then your new name is Hades. Do you like it?"
Hades nodded, causing Renee to swoon at how adorable he was. Lilith rubbed behind his ear and Kate gave him a kiss on his forehead. When the girls got back to the company, Thorin was the first to notice them, smiling at his daughter. He then noticed the little wolf pup in Lilith's arms. Lilith went up to him while Kate went to Fili, putting her head on his shoulder and Renee sat next to Kili, putting her legs in his lap and leaning against the wall. Lilith explained what happened as Thorin listened, He then looked at the little wolf pup and smiled, rubbing behind his ear. He kissed Lilith on her head and went over to Balin.
Soon it was time for the meeting with Lord Elrond. Thorin, Bilbo, Balin and the girls all went to Lord Elrond's study where he was waiting for them along with Gandalf.
"For goodness sake, show Lord Elrond the map."
"It is the legacy of my people. It is mine to protect, as are its secrets."
"Save me from the stubbornness of dwarves."
"Oh save me from the fucking stubbornness of dwarves."
Both Gandalf and Renee said in an irritated tone at the same time, Renee facepalming and shaking her head in irritation. Lilith hits her dad across the back of the head, causing him to look at her with a hint of mock betrayal which she just responds with a mock glare.
"Now I know where this one gets her stubbornness from. Look just show him the fucking map Thorin," Renee pleaded.
"Your pride will be your downfall. You stand in the very presence of the few in Middle-earth that can read that map. Show it to Lord Elrond."
Bilbo and Kate side-eyed Thorin, unsure of what he would do. Throin debated it internally before swallowing his pride and giving Lord Elrond the map. Balin tried to stop him.
"Thorin, no."
Lord Elrond took the map and opened it to examine it,
"Erebor? What is your interest in this map?"
"It's mainly academic."
"I mean these sort of artefacts contain hidden text, right ?"
Lord Elrond looked at Renee suspiciously before looking back at the map He then started walking to the light, holding up the map.
"You still read Ancient Dwarvish, do you not?"
Lord Elrond and Lilith said something in a language Kate and Renee didn't recognise. Luckily Gandalf seemed to have read their minds.
"Moon Runes. Of course. An easy thing to miss."
"Yeah because you missed it," Renee muttered to herself but she knew Gandalf heard her because he just gave her a look. When he turned away from her, she pulled her tongue, making her sisters laugh. Lilith leans closer to Thorin.
"I think Gandalf needs a pair of glasses. I think his eyes are getting on a little."
MotherFucker just smirked at her, feeling a sense of pride while she just winked at him.
"In this case, that is true. Moon Runes can only be read by the light of the moon of the same shape and season as the day on which they were written."
"Can you read them?"
Lord Elrond led them to a cliff where there stood a glass platform where he placed the map. Lilith stood next to him, looking at the map.
"These runes were written on a Midsummer's Eve by the light of a crescent moon nearly 200 years ago. It would seem you were meant to come to Rivendell. Fate is with you, Thorin Oakenshield. The same moon shines upon us tonight."
Stand by the grey stone when the thrush knocks
And the setting sun with the last light of Durin's Day
Will shine upon the keyhole.
"Durin's Day?"
"It is the start of the dwarves' new year when the last moon of autumn and the first sun of winter appear in the sky together."
"This is ill news. Summer is passing, Durin's day will soon be upon us."
"We still have time."
"Time? For what?"
"To find the entrance. We have to be standing in exactly the right spot at exactly the right time. Then, and only then can the door be opened."
"So this is your purpose, to enter the mountain?"
"What of it?"
"There are some who would not deem it wise."
"What do you mean?"
"You are not the only guardian to stand watch over Middle-Earth."
The girls looked at each other, knowing who he spoke of,
Sauron's Cockwarmer *cough cough cough*
