do u ever just wake up from a hyperfixation and it's like what in the world was i on lol

i still am enjoying kaishin fic and art but a couple months ago my mentality was 'alright if the only artistic goal i accomplish in the next 5 years is drawing good af kaishin i will be happy in life'. i was cleaning out my desk drawer and i found so many printer paper sheets of studies i did of detco stills over last summer.

i know it doesn't have to be this way, but for me art really functions as obsession

maybe its just cause twitter totally died and so few of the fanartists who draw kaishin moved over to bsky ;-; so i don't see so much detco art in general

im so sorry... but i finally watched it and.... m27 is so bad lol 😭🫣

maybe it's cause i'm doing a rewatch right now and currently i'm on the 200s of the anime. I miss the older characterizations. why is heiji so loud and brash and angry in this movie. i feel like his old vibe was like, generally mellow, but intense when it comes to cases. Also none of the characters reacted to danger... also why were there so many characters involved...momiji is so random...who even is the bald guy with okita... idk i guess it is fine as a fun big franchise movie but i hyped it up too much for myself because of waiting so long to watch it 😅

also kogoro's face looks so weird in the newer style
