I’m learning how to deal differently with my anxiety now.

Whenever my Anxiety is like Anxiety: " what if all of ur friends don't actually like you and they all pretend they do but they probably hate you and they are.. " Instead of just slowly beating myself with cactii and drinking my own period blood as a punishment, I start imagining different scenes ‘with’ my anxiety Me: .. They are actually outta space creatures and they're planning how to kill us humans ? Oh my, and they chose me to investigate humankind ??? Am I THE human they set as an example ? Am i an experiment ? It's actually pretty cool, i'm the Chosen One ! Anxiety: uhhh no, that's NOT what i meant. But like, they HATE you anyway. Me: NAAAH, they just hate the humankind. I mean we are pretty obnoxious right ? They are probably way sexier than us. Some geniuses. Amazing creatures. Wow, how cool is that ? I need to know everything about them. “  And that's basically how i beat my anxiety and why i look up to my friends so much. Y'all aliens to me. xx
