I do not share OP's point 100%, but the above comment is a non sequitor, trying to connect to a valid point. People (including me) who don't care if MAGA is tearing Tapper/Thompson to shreds are not, in any way, contributing to the "human rights only for people I like". We already did, are doing, and will do more to practically protect "human rights for all" than the bad journalists who also get caught up in this. We are not voting for journalists to go to jail. We are saying "we tried to prevent this, you fought us every step of the way, so when you start suffering, we are looking after our own. Who are also suffering. Partly because of you."

("You" being the mainstream media/Tapper/pundits/etc, not you the poster)

The MSM's decision to continue dragging Biden through the mud after they succeeded in getting exactly what they wanted - stabbing an incumbent in the back until he dropped out and giving them the extra push to help reelect Trump - is going to make it hard for me to care when Trump starts throwing reporters in the gulag.

How many young people speak slowly and with sentence fragments as they struggle to talk about a traumatic experience? Come on!
