by the way, war(eclipse) is afraid of blood right? then doesn't that mean he is afraid of himself since he's technically made out of blood?

Not exactly. At least, not that Eclipse.

To make things easier we are going to assign a version to each Eclipse. War (Eclipse v1). Death (Eclipse v4)

War(Eclipse v1) actually had no problem with blood, when he used to exist, humans used to sacrifice their people to honor this god. War used to eat the hearts of these sacrifices.

When War participated in human fights, he used to get stained with the blood of warriors from the opposite side to the one he protected.

Death(Eclipse v4) is the one who cannot tolerate blood. He cannot tolerate human blood or his own blood.

He feels nauseous every time he sees a single drop of blood. He is aware that his body has blood in it and that makes him feel uncomfortable with himself most of the time.

When Death gets hurt and bleeds, he looks for the quickest way to cover up the wound and ignore it as much as possible.

He doesn't know why he hates blood so much. I guess he'll find out later.

Huitzilopochtli, the god of war.

[Past] Eclipse. It is based on the god Huitzilopochtli, the god of war according to the Aztec religion. One of the most important gods for the Mexicas. For humans.

Eclipse, called War in this AU. He was Killcode's first son. The god of destruction.

→ ORIGIN

To explain the origin of War we have to go back thousands of years, when the first gods were looking for a way to create life on Earth. These gods had created humans several times, many wasted attempts that could only exist for a few hundred years if they were lucky.

The reason why humans died in such a short time was not because of a lack of food, or natural resources, or the sun.

It was a more worrying problem. Something the gods could not control. A withered storm.

The storm was located underground. It was practically a parasite that fed on life within the earth. Killing anything that was alive, plants, animals, humans. Everything was eventually devoured by the storm again and again, wiping out humanity again and again and again.

The gods were tired of every attempt by humanity ending up dying because of this storm, so they decided to find a way to destroy it. They failed multiple times to destroy this storm, making it stronger.

And while the gods were searching for a way to destroy the storm, War appeared one day. He never said where he came from. He simply said that he was meant to destroy the storm.

Thanks to him, the storm was destroyed shortly after its appearance, with the help of the other gods. War at this point had no purpose now. His goal had been successfully completed. But then, Sun proposed him to be part of them. Be a god like them. Participate in the creation of humanity.

And War really had nothing else to do with his existence. So he accepted, expanding the team with one more member.

Sun (Sunrise) Star (Lunar) Fauna (Earth) and War (Eclipse)

How Star existed thanks to the first star that appeared in space, how Fauna existed thanks to the collision of two planets, War also has a how it was born.

War was born from the blood of Killcode, the supreme god of destruction. To the other gods, being a child of Killcode is disgusting, repulsive. An impure son, born of an impure god, of evil, of destruction, of darkness.

War never told them where he really came from. The others didn't insist either, they didn't need to know something so unnecessary. Even if they had suspicions from the first moment.

• War was one of the first gods to interact directly with humans. Humans had great respect for War, making sacrifices in honor of this god. They even created their own temple to be able to communicate with this god. War used to "help" humans when they were at war by protecting them to achieve victory as a sign of his gratitude. He was also "responsible" for the creation of Tenochtitlán.

• War can control snakes. No matter how dangerous, violent or venomous they are, War can control them physically and mentally like a puppeteer. Snakes will never attack War no matter if their lives are in danger. Even snakes feel safe around this god.

• War's body is made of pure blood which solidifies to form a body. When he suffers any damage he can recover faster than any other god.

• War has a weapon based on the macuahuitl. It is a wooden sword with ends made of obsidian. The feature that makes him unique is that his weapon is made with magic. Magic prevents the obsidian from breaking when he uses the weapon, making it virtually indestructible. This weapon was a gift to War from the other gods.

Yes! He actually has some cool stuff that only he can do.

The first thing is his regeneration. War has the ability to regenerate his body when he suffers some kind of physical damage, he can get back into the fight faster than any other god!

But, visually it is not very attractive since it is practically made of a mass of blood, then, it simply melts while trying to return to its physical form.

The second thing is that he can practically control the snakes as if he were a puppeteer. He can control their bodies and their minds. What's the use of this? Nobody knows! He doesn't even know why he can do that! But hey, it's pretty cool.

The reason why they are snakes in particular is because they represent the god Huitzilopochtli (The Aztec god that I based War on)

In itself, Huitzilopochtli's weapon is a snake but shh.

Snakes will never attack War no matter how violent they are.

The last cool thing is his weapon. His weapon is based on the Macuahuitl, weapons that warriors used to attack.

These swords were made of wood and obsidian, they were so sharp that they could even cut a person's throat with the first use.

His weapon was a gift from the other gods. It is made of wood, obsidian and something, a little bit of magic, just a little bit.

Magic causes the obsidian to not break when the weapon is used, making it practically indestructible.

War doesn't really have any powers. But he is skilled with his weapon. He has practically destroyed civilizations with this.

I'll leave here some drawings that I made quickly for this, I hope it helps you a little.

Life is a leader. Life was a leader.

Life (Sun) used to be the leader of the gods many years ago. It didn't matter how smart or strong the other gods were. Life was the leader.

He was the most respected god among all, the most loved and worshipped. He was the creator of humanity and the sun. All the other gods lived under the shadow of Life.

But one day one of the gods decided to challenge Life. Star (Lunar). The god of magic and protector of all stars in the universe.

Star emerged from the shadows of Life, seeking the admiration and respect of other gods and humanity. He succeeded and surpassed Life.

Now Life was the one living in Star's shadow. He lost his respect and admiration from the others.

Jealous of having lost that, he decided to fight Star to regain his respect.

Star refused, he said "It's nonsense to fight about this"

But Life didn't listen.

And before Star could react.

Oil was dripping from his left eye.

All the gods saw how in Life's hands was what belonged to Star.

Nobody said anything.

None of the gods said anything.

None of the stars said anything.

None of the AI's said anything

The room was filled only with Star's screams.

So, in front of everyone, Life told them that "No one could be above him"

Since then, no one has tried to take Life's place.

Lunar and Earth have arrived like an explosion 💥

These are the official designs for these two horrible people (within this AU, of course)

Lunar

Lunar is considered the first son of Creator. He appeared at the same time as the first star appeared in the dark and cold space. His glow was so pure to Creator that he claimed him as his son. A creation of good.

Lunar, called in this AU "Star" is the god of magic and the protector of all stars in the universe. Like Geminis, Taurus, Nebula and millions of other stars.

Star retains his personality as currently shown in his program, combined with a piece of Castor's personality (LAES)

Star really hates Killcode's children.

Earth

Earth was Creator's second daughter. She was born from the explosion of two planets creating not only the planet Earth, the explosion created Earth.

Earth, Called in this AU "Fauna" the goddess of all life on planet earth. Of all living animals and all living plants. She can also control the weather! But she usually leaves that job to Star and Life (Sun).

Fauna keeps her personality as shown in her show. She's just a little more... Evil.
