The way fans thought Aemond was the brother who loved Helaena and Aegon was going to be this evil abusive husband, but the only brother who has ever laid a hand on Helaena and ever threatened her life is Aemond - not Aegon.

The way fans thought Aemond was secretly the father of Helaena’s children but he clearly isn’t, Aegon is their father who despite his many flaws loves those kids more than anything. Aemond is the reason Aegon and Helaena’s son is dead even if he didn’t mean for it to happen like that which I don’t think he did, but he expresses little to no remorse. In fact he expects her to fight for him after he got her baby murdered and burned her husband alive.

The way fans infantilized Helaena as being forced to be with Aegon and secretly TB or wanting Aemond to be King but Helaena is loyal to Aegon. He is her husband and the father of her children. They are devoted to each other in their own way and she made that clear when she told Aemond to go fuck himself because Aegon is gonna be the King and he’s gonna die.

Helaegons were right. That is all.
