honestly yeah. sevika is an excellent soldier but not built to lead and ekko is an excellent leader but he’s not taking orders— match made in heaven. zaun would’ve been free from season one if they had put aside the chembaron-firelight beef to work together.

I personally think that Ekko and sevika would’ve been a good duo leading Zaun, they BOTH wanted peace they BOTH wanted independence. Sevika had a big part in shimmer but there were no hospitals or medicine. They could’ve worked together to make zaun the way it was in the AU episode

it’s crazy to me when people give viktor so much grace and then they just hate silco blindly.

they’re really similar.

viktor was a victim up until he started playing god and enforcing eugenics.

just like silco was only a victim until he started playing drug cartel mafia boss supreme and manipulating mentally ill children into war machines.

while they are still victims of a system of oppression, they both brought their final downfalls onto themselves.

in both instances, the oppressed turned on their fellow man and became another oppressor.

silco seeks zaunite liberation and freedom from piltover, as he should, but he becomes a problem when he gets too already poor and suffering people of zaun hooked on shimmer.

viktor is only sick because of the gasses in zaun’s air, a direct result of piltover’s negligence and indifference towards the people of the undercity. furthermore, heimerdinger, a founder of the same city responsible for viktor’s rapidly declining health, essentially tells him to just wait out a damn near terminal illness— very much a victim of oppression.

his solution after healing his body? a cultish hivemind on a commune that we don’t see anyone leave until a literal war breaks out.

he was in there turning people into zombie robots and then when he was almost thwarted, he attempts to pretty much absorb them, taking away any autonomy and free will he hadn’t already gotten rid of in the name of purging impurity.

ekko throws the z-drive at viktor, which was deserved, and he gets absorbed by the fabric of time and space, which he manipulated to bend others to his will. silco gets shot and killed by jinx accidentally, but still the perfect example of being killed by a monster you created, especially considering how he fed into her delusions and hatred for years.

I just realized that the reason I don't quite like Caitlyn Kiramman is because she reminds me of Allison Argent, who I despise.

They both start out as good, then commit war crimes when their mothers die and are never held accountable for their mistakes.

They are both on the privileged, non-oppressed side, they defend their family to the death and think they are good girls because they get good grades and have a rich family behind them. Also, both families have their strict mothers as the head of the family.

They both end up dating a member of the opposite side: good, a little naive, good at fighting.

When their mothers are killed/die, however, they turn into war criminals and distance themselves from the good partner because they can't separate them from everything that their partner's side has done to their families, even though they previously expected their partner to get over the harm their own side had done to them.

They both have side relationships that they don't give much importance to because they are actually still interested in the first good partner.

For one reason or another, they both end up collaborating with the oppressed side but they will never apologize and will continue to think they are right. Futhermore the good partner's friends/relatives will forgive everything as if it never happened. They both became what they hated, doing the same things they blamed others for, but they never apologize and continue to believe that they had every right to do what they did and that they are good people.

I absolutely despise non-good (meaning not intrinsically evil) characters who are not held accountable for the evil they do and who continue to believe they are good people. I hate hypocrisy: if you do something morally wrong, knowing it is wrong but believing it is the right thing to do, fine, but you have to go through with it and accept and admit that you are causing harm. You are not allowed to lie to yourself and others and get away with it
