i hate when a piece of kids media is so well made that people start saying "clearly this was made FOR adults not for silly little babies. we are the true target demographic" like cmon man. you don't have to pretend it's something it isn't. sometimes things that are made for 12 year olds are good.

Hello Everyone, I'm reaching out to different disability and writing communities to research disabilities in fiction, particularly in fantasy and sci-fi. I'm a writer/researcher, so I want to know:
What disabilities do you think are underrepresented in media (all is true but let's be a bit more specific)
What disabilities would you like to see in a fantasy and sci-fi story, particularly a novel/novella (please don't give me story ideas I don't want legal trouble down the line)
Lastly what pitfalls / things you don't want to see/ would you be concerned about in a fantasy/ sci-fi novel with the disability you want to see.
This is part of my on going research to portray disabilities in stories, especially as protagonists in stories centered around their disability in someway or form (metaphorical, fantastical, equivalent).
I understand that most of us probably want stories about people going on adventures that happen to be disabled, I do too, but my current goal is to find ways to spread awareness by making the disability aspect of the person/ character an integral part of the plot/action without the story being preachy or just sad porn (for lack of a better word)
The research is very much in the preproduction phrase so please bare with me if I said anything offensive. I'm a Tumblr native and I'm still refining my research methodology and language.
All of these questions can be found on this form!

The filter relies on manually curated open-source blocklists, including the ‘nuclear’ list, provided by uBlockOrigin and uBlacklist Huge AI Blocklist,” DuckDuckGo said in a post on X. “While it won’t catch 100% of AI-generated results, it will greatly reduce the number of AI-generated images you see.

They had Ric Flair interviewed on TMZ on Hulk Hogan's death and every once in a while a woman's hand would reach over from off-screen to wipe his tears for him and I don't think it was ever acknowledged by him or the interviewer
