Writing update

I don't typically post fics during weeks like WRW or other weeks I like so they can have their time to shine without me cluttering up the feed. That all being said I do have a free day au submission for the week.

I have been working on, and hope to have ready the following for after it's over, in no particular order-

surprise random Distorted Mirror fic (it's an idea but hope to be done soonish)

Dead Space actually final chapter I really mean it (working on it)

Semblance of Solidarity (this one...is kinda wild, but the least likely to be done on this list before next Wednesday!)

the fact that they had one half assed lesson makes it real easy for me in aus to just make em hold hands and smooch by making maria the same age. So she has a little more experience with silver eyes and fighting to kill and they both have someone to lean on....and Weiss.

My HC for this is that it's just one of the ways they found to adapt for having their uncle around. His bad luck semblance constantly causes things to break so they just use their scrolls where there's nothing that can really break like buttons on a controller.

He can still spend time with them, and sure maybe they lose because of his semblance but it's way cheaper than constantly replacing controllers and getting to win.

Sometimes, I look for Nuts and Dolts fics and come across smut

Most of the time, Penny is treated like any other human

But there's at least one fanfic that I remember she wasn't, and Ruby even had to ask Pietro permission to have sex with her because of legal stuff with Atlas

And Ruby was looking through Penny's schematics to figure out how to pleasure her, and I loved that

Out of all the problems for Weiss being stranded on an uninhabited planet was not one she'd counted on, but at least she has pleasant company. Hopefully that'll make the time go more quickly as Ruby fixes the ship.

I think one of the big things is that even when it was dark there was a sense of fun that drew us in but lately it really hasn't felt like it.

What I miss most is the show being fun.

So the best way for that to happen is if maria comes back young and ready to hold wr hands and in this essay I will...

Look I've said Rwby is painfully ok but.. if I may.

There a lot of things in Rwby I like (weapon designs, character designs, character interactions, the Grimm designs especially because well, I fucking love creature designs)

I just feel like since rwby has tried to take itself a lot more seriously and the stakes are rising higher we don't really get to see the characters just be.

I get it the story needed to move on from beacon but Rwby (if you want my garbage take) needs to blend the calm with the intense, because the more the show goes on the more it focuses on what it's trying to tell and while that can ABSOLUTELY work I think rwby still kinda needs moments where it breathes. Letting the characters just be themselves.

Also.. it kinda needs to take itself less seriously, not fully revert to the beacon era but more of like atla where it's narrative focused but it makes sure to give the characters and the viewers time to breathe.

..but this is me opening my mouth and it ain't glitch if he isn't being an arrogant jackass for the umpteenth fucking time so-

Fuck do I know? I'm just some asshole who decides to act all holier than thou and can't handle embarrassment when people call him out for being a little bitch, my opinion is basically garbage.

Alright back to jack ass central I go. Have a lovely day everyone, touch grass, love your partner/friends/family/pets/Eldritch being in your closet who refuses to come out as gay. Just in general don't learn from me, be civil and don't throw shit fits. (Aka just common human decency)

The comics were hot garbage. The 1st movie had a few cute WR moments but the shocking thing to me was that Jaune and Jessica stole the movie.

The 2nd movie did not have Jaune in it, and like Jessica it killed my interest flat.

I have to assume that they really did not bank on it being as popular as it was which basically goes well with my theory that most of their best written, and engaging relationships are the ones they probably don't mean to do, or are background - Renora, the Belladonna's, Jailbird, and Knightlight.

So out of all of them the first movie was fun, and the rest was garbage in my opinion.
