Everyone knew that when you met, and introduced yourself to your soulmate you 'exchanged' semblances, or rather gained theirs. It was strange, but accepted.
Ruby Rose never wanted a soulmate after seeing what happened to her father. Unfortunately she is her father's daughter, and fate had other plans.
Will she run away, and leave them behind? Or will they get through to her, and help each other find their way?
This. If you want more content engage. The fics that update the fastest for me are the ones I get the most engagement on. I wrote IPS in Like a month or two because people got so into the mysteries and guessing what would happen!
And please don't treat fics older than a week like it's fast food and inedible. Comment on the old stuff I promise it's not weird and I'd love to hear your takes on it. Especially if it meant something to me or has a character I really enjoyed writing in it.
No one likes feeling as if you're screaming into a void and it's the fastest way to kill fics or motivation.
I don't read fic that's not finished. Great you're contributing to the problem good for you. Do you know where the motivation to write literal books for free comes from? Feedback.
Yeah it sucks if a story gets abandoned but I promise you way more authors will stop writing if they only get comments on the last chapter of a story when it's done.
I saw a story about someone who never got reviews and so they just assumed no one cares and stopped. Turned out there was a server of people who loved the work and were bummed they stopped and his response was 'well how was I gonna know that?' because no one ever told him anything.
A comment is the currency you pay for the free content. Even a nice work is something and takes no effort even if you're shy.
I am begging you if you like the fic comment on it. We love it and will talk about it for hour. It's not weird and let's us know it's worthwhile.
I saw a comment by someone on reddit who said they no longer comment on any fanfiction because of the risk of it being AI and ... that just seems like such a copout to me, not to mention incredibly cruel to authors.
Please please please do not stop commenting on all fics or interacting with authors because you are worried about things being AI. The risk is slim, and the damage you do to authors by doing this is awful.
Writers put so much effort into their fics. For people to openly admit they still read and consume these fics, but choose not to comment on anything because of the possibility of someone using AI for their writing is incredibly selfish. You're punishing authors by doing this. You're not being moral or helpful or crusading for any useful cause - you're just hurting authors.
Ironically, by doing this, you're actually more likely to cause authors to stop writing (silence does this), and people who can't write will fill the gaps left by creating AI writing - so you're making the problem worse, not helping anyone.
If you want to support authors and writers, then SUPPORT them! Reblog work and send authors asks, leave comments and kudos, and above all don't punish people with silence.
A great fic, and the art is hilarious. Foam finger cinder never stops being amazing, and winter's pog face. I love it.
Commissioned by @powertaco for @scham-wcan ‘s amazing fic.
