its never easy to break out of habits and patterns but i like to consider it still means progress in the right direction when you can consciously think and realize it.

We glamerize moving as fast as possible through life. We often emphasize that we must find our soul mate, our career, a house and pet and achieve everything as soon as possible. That everything must be in order. Everything must be perfectly put together right now. But where would the journey be in that? The beauty of the process? The anticipation of this current moment as it leads onto the next? It would be absent. If we were to achieve absolutely everything right now in life, how much excitement would be left? Where would we move next?

I’ve had my fair share of dating the wrong people.
It all came down to a matter of realizing sometimes you date people and want to be with people because the conditions of your past have led you into this state of being where subconsciously you only desire attention.
You convince yourself you love someone and care about them and have feelings for them when in reality it was only the idea of them you feel in love with. you fell in love with the feeling of emotion and the thought of wanting to continue feeling those emotions.
But correction and true happiness comes when you discover and embrace this fact. its okay to be broken. it can always be fixed. and there is always room for continued growth and development.

I am 20 and I have younger siblings. I watch my younger brother who is 12 running and playing up and down our street with some of his friends. I wonder if they feel the full scope of life as I did at their age. Often I found myself, in the times when my friends and I weren’t outside running around until the sun set, thinking about life and death and how temporary everything is. I’d often accidentally enduce myself into a panic attack trying to figure out why I was here, why life is the way it is, and why the universe existed and so on. I’m currently sitting inside my car watching them toss around a football. I wonder how they think and feel about all that stuff. If they even think of it at all.
He is quickly approaching the age I was when I was thrust into the world of spirituality and such. I hope if he begins to experience things of an other worldly nature, he speaks to me if no one else. I’d want to talk him thru this time so that he’s not as freighted as I was at that age. Alone for the beginning of my journey. Thinking I was crazy or that people would call me crazy if I spoke about what I was experiencing. But so far he seems pretty normal so *shrug*

Become more in tune with yourself. Your true self. The self beneath the name, the clothes, and the personality. The self that radiates your essence. That thrives within the silent mind. That sees beyond all physical barriers and labels of the world. Once you find this self of yours, there is no more need to search, but instead moments of endless blissful discovery.

I became friends with a friend of my friend
And immediately I could feel something inauthentic about they way they had presented themselves to me. But obviously never said anything to my friend because they have been friends for a few years. However last night my friend told me that new friend is in fact a “shit-talker” and occasional liar/exaggerator. Telling people stories that really hurt or deeply affected them when in fact many details of the story didn’t happen to them at all. Suddenly I was met with that DING of the lightbulb in my head.
In some aspects new friend reminds me of a younger version of myself even tho they are older than me. Pre my universe-slap-in-the-face, I was mean and over judgmental and would lie all the time even just small things because it had become a coping habit since childhood. I often would make up complicated and involved stories just so people would pay attention. Or even lie completely so I could be seen in a different or more forgiving light.
I am grateful for the opportunity to be in a place today where I can recognize the dying behaviors of my past. The old me would have talked behind the back of a best friend if it meant I could have made someone, anyone laugh and maybe possibly like me. So I am meeting this new friend with caution but also compassion. They have yet to reveal themself to do anything negative towards me but I do not think I would even be mad if I found out they already did.

Tarot Tips
🃏 Find The Empress in your deck. The card behind her will reveal what you need to do to nurture and care for yourself.
🃏 When in conflict or competition with someone, look for 5 of Wands. The card behind it will reveal the solution to the problem.
🃏 If you see the same card over and over again in readings, it is a sign and you must pay attention to its message for you.
🃏 For a better understanding of each card, observe it closely and form your own interpretation that follows its themes. It will help you interpret readings better.
🃏 To find out what is making you feel stuck or delayed, look to The Hanged Man. The card underneath him will show what is holding you back. The card in front of him will show you how to overcome it.
🃏 When shuffling your cards, if any card drops out of your grasp, take it as a sign and read the card.
🃏 You do not need crystals with you to do proper readings, but a good way to cleanse your deck is to place a clear quartz on the top of your deck before each reading. Keep in mind; there’s a variety of ways you can cleanse your deck.
🃏 Often when The High Priestess appears in a reading, she is trying to tell you that you know the answers and that you should listen to your inner voice.
🃏 There is no wrong way to shuffle or cleanse your deck. Do what feels right for you!
