RARIDASH CONTEST

Dear viewer, have you ever had the thought ‘Raridash is such a wonderful ship! Why is there not more content for it?” Well, reader of excellent taste, so have I! So, I, your magnanimous Raridash advocate, have decided to host a Raridash contest!! This contest, in short, will revolve around creating Raridash works of art- specifically visual (art, animation, etc) and literary (fanfiction, poetry, etc)!

And hey, if the brilliance of Raridash by itself can’t convince you to join- there are some prizes for the winners of this contest!

INFORMATION

As stated, this contest revolves around the creation of Raridash works of art. Specifically the written word and drawn artwork!

There is no ‘minimum’ amount of talent needed to join the contest, if you can barely draw a stick pony? Submit that Raridash art! If you’ve never written any fic before? Give it a shot! You never know what will catch the judge’s attention.

There will be two categories with three winners in each and (if enough entries are reached) a runner up!

RULES

All works of art (literature and visual) submitted must be new and first posted after the publication of this doc.

Each artist (author or visual artist) may submit as many entries as they wish, but they will only be eligible to win one of the provided prize categories.

Collaborations are allowed as long as the individual artists agree on how and if they want to split the prize.

Generative AI (beyond basic spellcheck for written entries) is NOT allowed in any form or context. If you are found to be using generative AI you will be immediately removed from the contest and judging pool.

Content must be wholly yours (and your collaborators, if collaborating). Tracing, plagiarism and theft are not permitted.

Explicitly sexual content is NOT allowed in any form. Spicy or suggestive art is fine as long as both characters are portrayed as of age.

PRIZES

Please note all monetary prizes will be awarded in AUD and delivered solely through PayPal, please check the conversion rate to your country’s currency. Each category will have three winners, and potentially a runner up if enough entries are reached!

Primary Judge

LockandKeyHyena - As the host of this contest, all final decisions will come down to my opinion! If you want to appeal to my favourite genres, know that I’m especially fond of Angst, Horror and Experimental works. Don’t be afraid to branch outside of these though!

Secondary Judges

Maryalezoo - ART CATEGORY ONLY - I love doing art and I pursue it in my free time. As I've been doing it and studying it for many years I intended to help choose a winner :)) I like fantasy elements and symbolism but I enjoy any piece of media which has a message to share. 

Cottonspotten - I’m particularly fond of artwork that explores themes of time and (un)reality, but I love all queer art (Gay Horse), so anything goes.

WHERE TO SUBMIT

Entries can be hosted on any website, but must be submitted through This Google Form! 

Please provide a social media of your choice and a way to contact you in the event that you win!

The deadline for this contest is officially 2 Months from when this was posted, with a potential 1 Month extension if enough contestants request it or not enough entries have been delivered.

MLP:FiM Nexus Preserver

In an attempt to build a mature setting for older RPers who appreciate the deep potential the lore of MLP:FiM provided but did not expand on, Nexus the project was created! Run by bepbep_beaches alone at this time, the preserver is mostly a place for her to dump her lore in a way where people can read and ask questions about it. Hell, the questions asked by players may even help further shape the world of Nexus into something more cohesive!

The goal, the end point, whatever you call it, is for Nexus to be a roleplay server. It's unclear if it will be an application-only server like the Paradise-likes or if it will be more open world like various WCRP servers. For now, Nexus is simply in limbo, being built day-by-day as ideas come to Bep.

PONY FOLLOWERS!!

I am currently planning/writing a My Little Pony fanfiction and I have a discord server for those who are interested in providing feedback or just watching the creative process!

The fic follows an alternate history version of Equestria where a great revolution happend five hundred years ago and the ponies overthrew and executed their alicorn rulers. We follow our protagonist, Rarity Belle, a painting conservator, as she restores a painting of the ‘lost princess’ Twilight Sparkle and slowly starts to fall in love with the spirit seemingly haunting the portrait.

If that sounds interesting to you, consider joining the server! Keep in mind that it is not spoiler-free and major plot beats along with the ending will be revealed to those who wish to provide feedback.
