I never craved attention,
Until I had a taste of yours.
Yan! Killua Zoldyck ❀
“Skateboarding? You started skating?” Killua stared into you, raising an eyebrow. He skateboards and you knew that. You must’ve meant it as a sign for him to skateboard with you too. If not..maybe you wanted him to know the two of you have things in common.
You smiled, cracking your fingers. One by one, “Yeah, I’m learning but I’m getting better at it !” Killua’s eyes met yours once more when you looked back up. He didn’t look away, not once. “Yeah?” He sat in silence for a moment. Gathering whatever courage he started to gain over the past few weeks. He had to work for you after all. “Do you want me to help? I used to skate all the time.”
“Really? I mean you don’t have to if you don't want to-”
“I want to,”
Killua finally looked away, slightly embarrassed from how bold he was getting. “It’d be funny to see you fall anyways.”
You rolled your eyes at him, “Don’t get too cocky.”
Killua had to admit that was the best idea he has ever had in his life. He got to help the girl of his dreams do something he’s excellent at ? And you willingly agreed. Who knew it would be so successful? He definitely wasn't mad about the outcome.
“Stop squirming so much,” His grip on your waist tightened as you squealed. Your hands quickly move to his shoulders. If he died that very moment, he would die in bliss.
“Sorry Killua, I may have meant that I could get on the board without it rolling away..” He shrugged his shoulders, a smile plastered. “I figured, Don’t worry I’ll teach you. You’ll get the hang of it eventually.”
Usually, he WOULD have gotten annoyed with anyone for exaggerating their skills. But he couldn't possibly be mad at you. When you slipped, he quickly brought you to your feet and his face would get oh so close to yours.
You could see the pink on Killua’s face as he walked off to get your skateboard. It was kind of cute when you thought about it.
By the end of the day, Killua taught you how to stay on the skateboard while you rolled. Now you could cruise on a board and he couldn’t help but cheese when he remembered he was the one who taught you.
That very night his hands lingered on his own body because well..you touched it. Killua followed where your hands once were, desperate to feel any closer to you. At some point, your hands held his . That was when you tried to gain your balance but still…It counted, didn’t it? Killua knew it did.
It meant something, your relationship with him was progressing.
The stalking went unnoticed by you. Not like he wanted you to know, It just made him see what else he could get away with. Killua wasn’t crazy, he wouldn’t cut a peice of your hair or anything. He didn’t want to upset you or hurt you, even if it was just hair.
So, he did the next best thing. The two of you started to hang out more often and that meant he could snoop through your room at times.
Killua stole articles of clothing, anything that called his interest. Before he would leave, he would borrow a hairtie from you. It found a nice home on his wrist, it was subtle. Enough for him to be happy about but not enough for you to notice.
It wasn’t uncommon for him to whine your name, aching for attention. Always disguised as something else, like he needed you to bring you something right infront of him or he thought you were going to get lost in a crowd.
“Are you missing your common sense? You’ll get lost if you wander off again!” Killua would proceed to have a gentle grip of your wrist. “Who knows who will approach you thinking you’re by yourself.”
You would look up at him, “What’s that supposed to mean?” Which would make him shake his head mumbling away. “Nothing, Don’t worry about it.”
Killua’s plan was starting to work, slowly but surely. He could feel himself softening up to you, noticing you doing the same. Except your feelings were him barely surfaced, his were there long ago. Killua loved you already, he was ready for any chance you would give him.
Honestly, If you asked him nice enough, he would beg you to give him a chance. Not an ounce of shame in his voice nor body, pure adoration. Killua would do it just for your eyes to stay on him, so you could get flustered by his pleads. Any reaction from you was a good one.
The more time passed, he would require more attention. It wouldn’t be enough until he could call you his. To hear you say that he was yours.
God, he craved you more everyday.
There wasn’t a second that passed without you crossing his mind. How it would feel for him to hear a yes to escape those pretty lips of yours. He would be your boyfriend, and he wouldn’t have to be so distant from you.
Killua was reaching his breaking point. Hands gripping the side of his pants whenever he was close to you. Face flushed when you would fix his hair when he played too much with electricity. Asking for sips of your drinks just to get an indirect kiss from you.
Then a guy came, asking for your number. Despite Killua being right next to you. Was he blind? Or just an idiot?
If looks could kill, he would’ve died where he stood. Killua wouldn’t do that infront of you, not unless you wanted him to.
You ended up turning the guy down, glancing over at Killua to see a smug look on his face. The guy walked off as Killua spoke into your ear.
“That was funny, he thought he would’ve been able to take care of you.” Killua shook his head with scoff, “He’s stupid.”
Killua ended up calling Milluki, asking him to identify the man through the street cameras. At a price, he had his address and Social Security number. Along with anything else his brother could find on him.
The guy was on the news by morning time. Of course, you didn’t see it. You were too busy making breakfast from scratch with Killua, laughing at how messy he was being. Then making fun of how big he was for wanting to eat all the batter.
All your attention was on him, he wouldn’t prefer it any other way. This was the life he wanted with you, where it would be carefree and sweet.
Nothing like his family that he would have to be so cautious around. The ones who didn’t know how to love without hurting the people around them. To Killua, you were peace itself.
It was mere months before Gon got him to confess. After Killua was sure you liked him, he finally told you. He couldn’t say he just liked you, it was more than that. Killua never wanted to lie to you unless it was to protect you. He was humble enough to only say he was doing a good job so far protecting you.
“I have feelings for you, I’ve had them for a long time if I’m honest.” He admitted as you stared at him, silently.
Even though it was mere seconds, he started to get a bit desperate for a reply. “Give it a chance please, I’ll be whoever you want me to be.”
A smile spread on your face, you covered it with your hand, “I want you to be you Killua, I like you too.” Killua’s face twitched, you might’ve broken him.
He brought your hand down, out of your face to see you properly. His mouth opened to speak but it was just nervous sighs and stutters.
“So..Do you want to ask something else maybe?” You silently laughed as it hit him. You wanted him to ask you? To be his girlfriend? You? And Him? Together?
Killua couldn’t ask for more at the moment. He leaned his head down giving you a small bow, “Can I be your boyfriend?” He closed his eyes like he was bracing for impact.
“I don’t know, can you?” It was funny to you, he didn’t find it too funny at the moment. “Yes, You can be.” It came out softer than you intended to but that was just what he needed.
It even softer than when you told him you would listen to him. The kindest anyone had ever spoken to him, the first time someone saw him as a boy who dealt with horrible things. Not as someone who could take the treatment because he was a good assassin.
He pounced on you mumbling sorry’s as he got you into place. Kissing you all over, flustering you beyond belief. Meeting your lips more times than he had thought about you. By the time he was done, the two of you were breathing heavily.
And you would probably need to borrow a turtleneck of his for a week or so.

I never craved attention,
Until I had a taste of yours.
Yan! Killua Zoldyck ❀
You were the closest synonym to love. Killua believed you left a permanent indent on his soul. He could practically feel it. Desire fueled his every action, and without you he couldn’t get very far. You were practically unattainable, until you weren’t.
When Killua was younger, he didn’t get much attention. The gentle, patient, loving kind. He faced what his oldest brother would consider love. The beatings, poison left in his food, electrical shocks. Killua hated the attention his family gave him, it wasn’t soft or forgiving. It was cruel.
Then, you came along with your dumb smile and stupid soothing tone of voice. You even dared to use it on him, did you think he would be manipulated so easily? Well, that’s what he thought you were trying to do at first. He had learned to protect himself from others and make his walls impossible to break down. So why did it take one moment–one personal conversation with you to diminish all that guarded him?
All you did was look at him with your furrowed brows, a gentle tone like you were scared to hurt him. Unlike any one he knew, you saw past the snarkiness. You didn’t see the boy that was trained to endure anything and everything. The one that was spoken to like he was incapable of feeling, like he had it easy.
No, you saw him as a normal boy. Who should’ve been comforted and held for the trauma he went through. Killua was just casually joking about what he would do to his family when he got strong enough. That he only had to thank them for his immunity to the things that tormented his childhood.
“I’m sorry, you deserved better than that. Does it still bother you..?” You were ready to listen, absorb his words so you could recite it to a T. Atleast that’s what Killua heard when you spoke. He stumbled over his words, before settling with a shoulder shrug.
“Not that much anymore but that’s kind of just how my family is.”
That earned a small hum from you, nodding your head understandingly. You smiled at him, hand hovering over his shoulder before making contact. “If you ever want to talk to someone, I’ll listen to you.”
At the time, he just muttered under his breath something you didn’t quite catch. You assumed it was a variation of thanks or okay. That was it, nothing followed after.
But
Killua found himself craving more of..whatever you gave him. Whether it was the foreign feeling of comfort or the way you worried for him instead of just finding his backstory frightening. It was the exact type of attention he wanted. The type he never received, but could only wish he got.
He loved it, every second of it. Killua made sure you didn’t notice so soon though. He was sneaky, he was raised that way.
Maybe he had another thing to thank his family for. Killua would lurk around you, and somehow always bump into you when you went somewhere new.
Killua easily convinced Gon to get closer to you so he could too. Gon was a good friend and encouraged Killua to talk to you more.
It only fueled him more, made him more consistent. That’s how he ended up having another conversation with you, alone. Killua thought he would be braver this time around, who follows someone around but is too scared to actually talk to them?
You soothed his worries faster than he expected. You had started the conversation, it was almost too easy. Killua grinned as you spoke, tilting his head following yours. Everything about you, it made him feel like he was floating instead of being chained down to an abyss.
You didn't reciprocate his feelings, not yet anyway. He knew that it would take time but he didn’t doubt his ability to win you over eventually. Killua was willing to play the long game as long as you were the prize that awaited him.

Acc I was in a really good mood when I wrote this, would do it again for funziez
Late girlfriend

Slight angst w Killua Zoldyck :)
Killua met you during the Hunter Exam. He noticed you were around the same age as him. There was attraction, well he found you attractive. That wasn’t what made him speak to you in the first place though. Eventually, the two of you talked—about the stupidest things. Dumb jokes and questionable rants about his family.
However, he noticed a little hobby of yours. If you could even call it that. You smoked, even drank at times. Never around him, but the smell lingered under the sweet smell of your perfume.
Killua questioned you on it, which just earned a small shrug. A small mutter, “Just need a break sometimes.”
He didn’t understand your answer at the time. He didn’t further question you on it. Killua just stared at you for a moment before flicking your forehead. He shook his head, not believing that it would be relieving.
At times, he would find you zoned out with low set eyes, just enjoying the silence. Then you would look up at him and give a soft smile.
“Hey Killuaa, haven’t seen you today. Kinda missed you..”
“Kinda? Not even a forsure? Ouch.” He raised a brow at you, scanning you. The two of you weren’t dating, didn’t have time to. There were moments that kept him up, moments where he should’ve asked you.
How his hand snaked around your waist, to comfort you when you were on too much. When you started to see things, shutting your eyes, asking him to stay just a moment longer.
He berated you while holding you closer. Covering your eyes in the process. The smell started to cling to him from the sheer amount of times this would happen.
The times you would go behind him, wrapping your arms around his neck or resting your hands on his shoulders, bringing your mouth down to his ear. It made him shiver each time.
The way no one else saw you the way he did. The times you two would secretly kiss, always going in for more. Which would eventually end with him pleading with you not to go.
“Five more minutes?”
That sly smile of yours meant he could keep going.
Killua would remember the day vividly, a voicemail you left on his phone. The tone of your voice vastly different from the one that chimed his name.
He had slept in that day, he wished he hadn’t. Killua couldn’t help the tears that spilled when you spoke so peacefully about being sorry. That all the weed and drinks in the world just couldn’t cut it anymore. You were tired, you wanted peace but he thought he could be your peace.
It broke him to see you lying so still. He could’ve made all the pain go away, Couldn’t he? Maybe if you had given him the chance. If you had given him the time. Killua looked at your face once last time, you looked just as pretty as when he first saw you at the Hunter Exam. Then they lowered you.
He got your favorite piece of jewelry, you left it for him. Killua never wore it though, just stared at it sometimes. Other times touching it with trembling fingers as he cried.
Killua would replay the end of your voicemail alot, You said you loved him. None of it was his fault and in another life you would've wanted to live a mundane life with him. The voicemail ended with you saying his name one last time before it cut off.
Truthfully, he never got enough time to love you. Killua told Gon about you, about his feelings for you. Though it didn’t change anything, it made you feel more real to him. Like you were still here, waiting for him to come find you. Killua hated the smoke, but he would be lying if he said he didn’t miss it—no. Killua missed you, everything about you.
He will always consider you his girlfriend. You would’ve been anyways if you stuck around.

Gon wouldn't stop pestering Killua about you. It was starting to get on Killuas nerves due to the sheer volume of questions.
“Do you like her?” Gon would enthusiastically ask, waiting for the answer. Even with how blind Gon was to love, he could see it written all over Killua.
He would just grumble instead of answering the question. Too embarrassed about his own feelings, to be frank you were the first to make him feel that way. It confused him to no end.
Eventually Gon gets him to open up about the situation.
“She keeps on texting me,” He sighed out glancing at his phone flashing on and off. Opening his phone to text you back before shutting it down once more. Gon curiously glanced over with an eyebrow raised, trying to decipher his best friend's feelings.
“Is that like…A bad thing-“
“No.”
“Do you like her??” Gon asked once more, smiling brightly. Casually peeking over to see what the two of you talked about. Killua responded quite fast with you.
Killua stared at the message he last sent before swiping up to re-read. He huffed, not wanting to wait more than a minute for you to respond.
“Do I like her?” He repeated Gon's question, “No, definitely.” A faint pink coated his face as he covered it with his hands.
Gon just blankly stared at him while Killua tweaked out. No, definitely? Was that a definite no, or a different way of saying yes?
“Is that a yes? You do like her then!” Killua flicked Gon's forehead. He was embarrassed and embracing the fact he had feelings for you while Gon was asking stupid questions. Killua thought that the flick was well deserved.
“Of course I do, idiot!” He murmured after, “You don’t have to be so loud about it geez.” Killua looked around all while Gon rubbed his forehead.
“What if she hears?” Glancing over his shoulders scanning the perimeters.
“She’s not even here,” Gon said, but also looking around to see if he saw you. Which he didn’t. “Want me to tell her that you like her?”
Killua's face scrunched, his eyes twitching. “Don’t even think about it.” Gon laughed at his expression, “You look funny, but I won’t.”
Gon lied, He did tell you. He sent you a message saying that Killua had feelings for you. Told you to be bold about it because Killua would take years trying to confess.
It made you nervous, but it was expected. I mean, it wasn't like Killua was good at hiding his feelings for you. He was always flustered around you, let you snatch a few of his chocolates, even tug at his hair without much complaint.
He definitely likes you.
You soon responded back to killua after deleting and rephrasing your message multiple times. Straightforward was the best. That's what Gon said, right?
‘I have feelings for you, Killua.’ That was typed with trembling fingers, but he didn't need to know that. You threw your phone to the opposite side of your bed, regretting your decision you rushed back to your phone.
Seen. 1 minute. 2 minutes. 3 minutes. 4 minutes.
You were about to kill Gon.
Killua on the other hand was starstruck, staring at the message. Gon had to slap the back of his head to get through to him. You would think he was rejecting you if he didn't answer. With that, Killua typed fast but never sent anything. Rewriting and erasing everything he typed, just like you.
“Just say you have feelings for her too!” Gon rushed him before snatching the phone, “I’ll do it for you since you can’t.” The blood in Killua's face drained as he registered what Gon did.
But he couldn’t really be mad when he saw your quick answer.
’I was nervous that you weren’t going to respond but I’m glad that you feel that way about me too.’
He glared at Gon before deciding to let it slide. His fingers clicked at the letters, phone up in his face, smile plastered.
‘I was going to respond faster but Gon was doing something Stupid so I needed to help him.’
Killua lied, trying to play into a nonchalant act. ‘But I can stop by wherever you are. We can talk or whatever you want.’

We’re meant to be
You know that, right?
Yandereish Killua Zoldyck ᓚ₍ ^. .^₎
“I love you.” His tone was soft, ever so hesitant to utter those words. Killua did love you, but that wasn’t where the hesitancy came from. It was the fact you never said it back. Not a mumble nor a softened glance. Just silence.
It pissed him off quite frankly, embarrassed, humiliated him. He lost his dignity long ago trying to gain your love. So this wasn’t anything he wasn’t fond of.
“Say it back…” The silence was sickening, “Please?”
Killua's love for you wasn’t normal, common, or reasonable. It was abnormal, needy, lovesick. His voice raspy and pleading for those three words. All he wanted to hear from you.
The only reason you hadn’t let the word love escape you was because you knew the extent of his love for you. Or rather lack of extent. Killua’s growing obsession, it was too noticeable.
The lingering touches, hands creeping around your waist. Leading you away from anyone he could. His words becoming ever so slightly more manipluative. Icy blue eyes moved as you did. Then those same eyes stared blankly at people who got too close. Yes, you did notice. It wasn’t healthy, was it?
If you said you loved him? He would be yours forever. Regardless if you wanted him forever or not. It’s not like you didn’t love him, you did. You almost felt bad for not saying it, it looks like he would get down on his knees and beg if you asked him to. Just in exchange for those pretty words to leave your mouth.
“I love you, Killua.” You said it, you hid the slyness in your voice. The edges of your mouth turned down, a tiny smile. Seeing Killua practically put down all his walls to hear this from you, made you feel something.
Killuas eyes flicked up to you before back down at your intertwined hands. He pulled you, holding you tightly against him. If he brought you closer to him, would that bring you further from everyone else? He hoped so.

Scene

Synopsis: At first Killua was excited to watch you act. You were in a popular zombie show, one of the characters with ‘plot armor.’ That didn’t stop you from getting hurt though. As the scene progressed, Killua started to hate every second of it.
A/n: posted last night, briefly proofread this morning. Sorry for my incoherent babbling (◞‸ ◟)
Killua Zoldyck ᯓ★
An absurd amount of effort had gone into the set. It was purposely filmed on a foggy day, made even foggier with a fog machine that never seemed to turn off. The building was abandoned prior to production, but looked more chaotic. The outside of it at least.
Padlocks and heavy chains wrapped on the front door. Realistic dummies gutted disturbingly across the floor, and a few broken windows to sell it. Then there were the ‘Zombies’ lurking outside, only a handful but all of them walking too uncanny for Killua’s liking. The makeup was nastily detailed, it made his skin crawl.
You weren’t quite inside yet. Todays scene was focused on you discovering the building. Earlier scenes had shown the group splitting up, everyone scattered during a frantic escape from a horde. Now you were looking for your friends. However, it was already getting late. The previous escape exhausted you, so your character had to find somewhere to rest.
Then it cut to someone else in the group, who had found a place to hide. The last scene aired was a shot of your back. Or rather the man that followed close behind.
Killua had been offered a seat inside the building. Along with the crew of people there to waiting to follow the directors demands. You’d invited him, just to watch. Maybe the two of you would go out afterward.
As usual, the Director hadn’t revealed much of your scene. Keeping things vague, just to avoid leaks or spoilers that could go out to the public. Before they sent you outside to film, you spent a few minutes with Killua. You sat beside him in your disheveled school uniform, the tie long gone, physically in character.
“Are you ready?” Killua said, mouth full as he scrarfed down a plate of food meant for the crew. Not that anyone really cared, no one even glanced at it. He looked over at you after finishing his second donut.
Even though your character went through an apocalypse, you still looked pretty. Apocalyptically pretty. You nodded, but before you verbally respond, you heard the director.
“Places everybody!” He spoke in a professional voice. You shot up, ready to scramble over to where you were supposed to be.
“Talk to you later..!” You ruffled Killua's hair then ran to your position. The whole crew would be waiting for you considering you were the main focus of the scene.
The assistant director was sweet, leading you to exactly where you would be standing. The actor playing your attacker stood just behind a few trees, out of view. You’d notice him, he would leave his hiding spot, you run, and then the chase would start. Simple enough.
Killua grabbed his second plate while he watched from a distance. Watching the other camera operator adjust the angle for the upcoming scene.
After three takes, the director finally settled on the last one. It had felt raw and the buildup of tension was immaculate. The moment you spotted him lurking in the trees you tensed. You ran but he followed quickly behind you as the lurking zombies tried to grasp at you. Avoiding them while you tried your best to lose him to no avail.
The building came into view, shattered side window, you landing hard but safe. The camera cut to the man outside, fiddling with the lock. He knew you’d made it in. he just didn’t know how.
“Cut!” The director yelled, you got up from your position. Opening the door from the room you landed in to be met with the crew. They cheered you on with high fives as you passed through.
In the dressing room, The makeup artist was already waiting for you. All you needed was a few blood packs and some tubes within prosthetics. It wouldn’t take long to insert and apply.
Meanwhile, Killua waited nearby, eyes locked on his game. He’d asked how long it would take. Just a few minutes, they told him. Everything was ready, they just needed to attach it to you.
When you finally emerged, the assistant director guided you back to the room where the last scene had ended. Killua glanced up, but by the time he looked, you were already gone. He put his game down, shoving his hands into his pocket.
“Quiet on set..Action!”
It started so quickly, This scene was meant to be captured in a single smooth take. Killua's eyes quickly darted to you bursting into frame, scrambling to your feet, breath ragged. You looked terrified, he'd never seen you like that before.
He had to remind himself it was just a job youp did, it wasn’t real. Still, his eyes flickered to the door being broken open by the man.
You glanced over your shoulder, locking eyes with him. Your heart pounded as you bit your tongue and pushed yourself faster, sprinting down the ridiculously long hallway. Even knowing it was fake, you couldn’t stop the adrenaline. It felt too real.
A creaked-open door caught your eye.
The camera crew that was positioned just a few feet in front of Killua suddenly rushed toward the set, the room you were supposed to run into. As the crew adjusted their angles, Killua moved silently behind them and sat in the floor.
You were breathless, hurling your body through the door. You scrambling to your feet managing to lock the door behind you. Panicked eyes scanning the room, locking on a window across from you. Rushing over to open it but a voice ringing made you freeze.
“Open the door,” The man's voice was so monotone, too cold. It was a contrast to the loud banging that followed. “Now.” Then silence.
The silence broke your trance, bringing you back to the window. Why wouldn't it open? You tugged and pulled, only then realizing that it wasn’t meant to. Just a frame, sealed shut. No wonder the side windows were all shattered. These weren’t designed to be opened or closed. The hinges of the door creaked slowly while the darkness crept in.
Killua had been snacking, but the party sized bag of chips was long forgotten when he realized you didn’t manage to escape. It was a scene, you were acting. A set. Cameras, crew, and a director stood right in front of him. But all he could see was the scene playing out.
All he could see was you.
He’s killed people before. Hundreds..maybe even thousands. Killua was familiar with death, he knew it like a close friend. But seeing you in a situation that was leading you to death? It made him anxious, a type he never felt with you.
The man burst in and threw you with ease to the floor. You didn't fight much, protecting your head conserving the energy you had. You would need it to get out. You sat up shallowly breathing, staring up at him.
“I don't have anything to give you,” Your voice was low and controlled despite the fear. The man just loomed over you, standing silently. He climbed on top of you before you could think, you screamed struggling to push him off.
It was meant to sound as raw and genuine as possible. And it did. Too much for Killua’s sake, your scream burned into his ears.
“Hold still and I won't kill you.” He was lying. The plan was to kill you then act on his sinister thoughts. He tried to aim for your head first, but you kept grasping at his wrists. It just made him all the more frustrated. Then he aimed at your stomach. This was it.
You had to nail this scene, it was already going so well. You Followed the script perfectly, and delivered more than the scripwriters could hope for. But your thoughts differed from Killuas.
Your thoughts were on your performance, Killua’s not so much.
He wished he hadn’t come to watch. He would’ve rather seen it later when it aired. Killua had to sit and watch it unfold infront of him. You were practically getting murdered in front if him while he couldn’t do anything. He was aware you were alive, just acting. He knew you wouldn't die, not in the show, and definitely not real life but that didn’t sooth him. His eyebrows furrowed, jaw clenched, filled with dread.
The whimpering that escaped you after a pained muffled scream was horrid. The man covered your mouth and your eyes closed in response to the pain. On que, the blood stained your white button up. Your sweater drenched in the red liquid seeping it onto the cold floor.
The squelch sound was too realistic, when did they get so advanced in movie effects? The last movie Killua watched was some awful horror flick he and Gon threw on as background noise. He barely paid attention to it, just laughed at the bad effects.
This was far different. Now, his mouth hung open as he stared at the scene unfolding in front of him. His hand gripped the fabric of his shorts, knuckles white. He didn't sign up for this.
Finally, you recovered enough from the initial shock to act. You kicked the man hard, it bought you a few seconds. You used that time, trying to take the blood soaked weapon from his hands. He had quite a grip so instead, you grasped his hands with yours.
With all the strength you could muster, you drove it deep into his face. You didn’t register the sounds he made, just shoved his now-limp body off of you. A minute passed in silence before you forced yourself to move, reaching for the man’s shirt. You tore it into long, uneven strips for makeshift bandages. Lifting your own shirt, you wrapped the fabric tightly around the wound, then let the shirt fall back into place. The final scene faded with you curled up beneath the window, body tucked into a ball, eyes heavy as you slowly drifted off.
“Cut!” The director spoke, the cameras stopped rolling. “That was perfect, you two did amazing.” You stood up, a smile plastered on you. Your clothes were drenched in blood, hair disheveled from the constant movement.
After getting off set, you made your way over to Killua. “So? What did you think?” He stayed silent, not answering right away. His gaze fixed on the fake wounds on your stomach. Killua was quick to pull you to sit down, meeting your gaze. But his eyes kept drifting to the blood that coated you.
“It wasn't fun to watch.” He quietly said. After a pause, he added. “But It was good…you did good.” No matter how fake that blood was or could’ve been. He hated it all the same. It shouldn’t have been on you.
When the two of you walked out the building, he stopped. You were all cleaned up now, no injuries, no tattered clothes, not bloodied.
You looked back at him, gently tugging his hand to keep moving. But Killua didn't budge. Instead pulling you to the side of the building and wrapping his arms around you, holding you close. He just breathed deeply while his chin rested on your head.
“You loved every second, huh?” You teased, your voice light. “I hated every second of that dumb scene.” Killua muttered against your hair.

Treats!

Synopsis : Killua loves to eat, specifically sweets. You work at a small bakery filled with treats. It's convenient for him to come to your bakery and skip the other ones. Not for any other reason…
Killua zoldyck ❦
The bakery would open at 7:30am, and each morning you would be there. Rolling dough, making coffees, taking orders…Not that you minded of course! It was a rewarding job filled with the sweetest customers. The regulars consisted of a variety of old people, little kids, and a close friend of yours, Killua.
Today, you were set up at the register. Clicking away at the numbers and fetching pastries the customers wanted.
“Strawberry shortcake, banana bread, and coffee jelly, correct?“
The lady in front of you nodded along to your words. You smiled at her before moving away from the counter. A hum of words followed after.
“I’ll get that for you right away..!”
After tending to her, you sighed softly before looking back up to the next customer. A smile spread on your face after scanning him.
“Killua, back so soon?”
You slyly laughed as you looked back down at the register.
“Yeah, I just wanted some chocolate” Killua grumbled, turning his gaze away from you and toward the pastries on display. After a moment, his eyes dropped to your apron, lingering on the heart stitched in the center. You brought him back to reality when you spoke, pulling his attention back to your face.
“Hellooo?? What would you like?” You elongated your words with impatience but your smile said the opposite. “I said chocolate, idiot!”
“We have multiple chocolate desserts and a variety of chocolate. How am I supposed to know what you want? You try something new everyday!” You giggled quietly, your hand covering your mouth. Killua got a bit flustered but pushed it aside the best he could. He liked hearing your laugh although he would never admit that to you.
Good thing there wasn't anyone to see your customer service with him. You couldn't be sure that you wouldn't get into trouble for making fun of the boy.
“Did you make anything today?” His words broke the momentarily silence. His tone was different from earlier..perhaps softer? The prior look of frustration was replaced by a calm one. Killua was curious if you had made anything he saw through the glass.
“Most of our pastries are made the same day, Killua,” you replied, brows furrowing. “You know that.” Of course everything in the bakery was freshly made. You could've sworn you told him this before.
“That's not what I asked, did you make any of it?”
He tilted his head slightly, gaze flicking from the pastries back to your face and settling there. You tilted your head in return, a small smile forming before you looked away. With a light pop of your glossed lips, you answered.
“Uhm... yes! Well, I made them last night, but they had to be set overnight, so technically they're finished today. These brownies over here...”
You walked over to the display case, sliding the glass to the side to pull out a large chocolate brownie. He stood on the other side staring at the dessert in your hands. Seriously, you were too good at this. If he had it his way, you’d be his personal baker. His eyes flicked to the white gloves you wore, tiny flowers embroidered at the wrists. Cute.
“I'll take it, how many did you make?”
“I made fifteen, they're all pretty big and very chocolatey. I hope you like it!” You reached below the counter and pulled out a small pink box, quickly folding it into shape.
“That box is pretty small for all of them don't you think?” He raised an eyebrow at you leaning against the counter to watch.
“All fifteen?” You didn't doubt he could eat them all but it was excessive at that. You set the pink box aside and reached for two larger ones, unfolding the cardboard with ease. After laying down a sheet of white paper, you began neatly placing the brownies inside.
Killua rested his chin in his hand, quietly watching. He’d probably inhale them the second he walked out the door. You looked pretty when you were so focused.
—
Gon and Killua went on an adventure for a week. So you didn't see him for a while. However while he was gone an amazing idea popped up into your head. Killua loves chocolate robots right?
The bakery closed early today, 1:30pm. You had asked Killua to hang out after your shift the day prior. The plan was to meet in your usual spot. A quiet, tucked away part of the park where you both liked to spend time together. A large pastry box propped up in your hands as you walked over there.
It was warm outside, the birds were quite active too. Chirping away in the trees. You eventually arrived, slipping through a few trees in the process. Of course, he was already there. His silver hair caught by the sun, a curious smile plastered on his face as soon as he saw the pastry box.
Killua was quick on his feet, suddenly behind you. Looking over your shoulder, “Heyy what's in the box?” He turned his head to look at you. A measly amount away from you. He noticed quickly looking away and back at the box. A faint pink covered his pale skin.
Your grip on the box became a bit firmer when he got closer. Killua noticed the slight change. “I made something for you, just a treat.” You smiled, shrugging your shoulders acting like it was nothing. Although you did feel a bit nervous handing the box off to him.
Killua opened the box with ease, having done so many times before. A surprised laugh came from him, you amazed him more everyday. His eyes sparkled as he looked back at you with something warmer.
“You made me a ginormous chocolate robot?! How long did this even take??” He wasted no time trying to bite into it all at once, only to fail miserably. Still, his mouth was full as he mumbled, “It tastes exactly the same too, you really are the best! No doubt.”
You couldn’t help but smile, watching him devour it over the next eighteen minutes. Yes, you’d timed it on your phone. You watched half amused and half worried. “It's not too much chocolate for you?” His hands weren't even dirty, he didn't give it a chance to melt.
Killua shook his head vigorously, “No way, you should make these more often.” He sat down on the bench patting on the seat next to him for you to follow.
“Thank you,” He said softly. He was like a cat, subtly inching closer but acting like it wasn't on purpose. His hand hovered near yours, barely brushing it as he tapped his foot, trying to act casual.
“You're welcome,” You murmured, then curiosity got the best of you. “You pass like three bakeries to get to mine, why not go to one of those?” You looked at him, the corners of your mouth lifting.
“I don't like them,” He shrugged, trying to seem indifferent, but there was something different in the way he avoided your gaze. You bit your tongue but decided to try to push just a little more. What was there to lose?
“Why not?” His response came rather quickly. Almost like it was instinct, Killua didn't have to think about it. “Cause you're not in them.” His embarrassment followed quickly. His face flushed as he shifted like he wanted to disappear into the bench.
You didn't respond, instead you gently laced your fingers with his. That was just enough to keep him grounded.
Killua didn't speak either, but the way his hand tightening around yours told you everything you needed to know.

Feverish

Synopsis: Life as an assassin was hard. You caught a fever and your family made you feel worse. So you ran off to seek the comfort of your boyfriend for the night.
a/n: I recommend listening to any cigarettes after sex song with this :)
➴ Killua Zoldyck .ᐟᅟ
Great. The fatigue was catching up to you too quickly. A quiet groan escaped you, unable to properly aim the rifle due to your shakiness. Surely you would get reprimanded for taking so long. The piece was put down against the cement with a small clunk. You got up abruptly, dusting off your clothes. This had to be done minutes ago.
You chose close range. Your family didn't prefer it—Not for targets like this anyways. However, it felt like your body was slowly giving up. Which meant that you would have to get it done as soon as possible. Just because your aim was off didn’t mean you couldn’t snap someone’s spine.
The times you would get sick would be worse than most, especially since you were trained to not fall to illness. The way home was one you couldn't quite remember. Not focusing on anything just blanking out most of the way. Perhaps thinking about the punishments you would receive. You would be ready for it when it came.
Your thoughts drifted to killua, where was he anyways? So caught up in your family business, you weren't so caught up on what he had been up to. He was persistent on not following his family's plan for him.
And you? Not the opposite, nor quite like killua either. You didn’t see yourself doing this forever. Still, There wasn't much resistance you put up against them. It was a borderline of wanting to deny and run or accept It to feel the love you so desperately grasped for.
Well, you have Killua now. Despite Your family not liking how much he rebelled against his own. You paid no mind whenever they mentioned it, you wouldn't let them take him away from you.
The warmth filled your face, bringing a hand up feeling around. Did you feel warm because of Killia or was it your new found cold? You slowed your pace—sickness was still a foreign feeling. Fever maybe?
When you finally reached home it was eerily quiet. Living in an estate wasn't the loudest by any means. That didn't mean that it would be completely silent either though. A few moments later, your mother faced you. Angry? You weren't sure. She always had the same look on her face.
“Go now. change your clothes and make yourself presentable. Then come speak with me and your father in the third wing immediately."
Her tone was similar to usual too. However, it was obvious that you were about to be punished. You knew her well enough. You didn't dare speak until after she was done. The cold room started to mix with the warmth you felt. You shivered when you responded.
“Yes ma’am.”
Once in your room, your body folded into itself. Seems like your knees gave up on you. Now that you were finally just taking it in, it all just came full force. Not like it was painful or anything. No. You had been through worse.
Reluctantly you got up from your position holding onto the nearest thing possible.
‘Shower, change, and…’ you couldn't think straight. How was it possible to feel so hot and so cold at once? Why did your bones feel like jello? Why did you feel so exhausted?
The shower was just long enough to catch up with your thoughts. You didn't have a phone. You weren't allowed to have one. There was an ipod and headphones to your name though, so it wasn't all that bad. Maybe you could use one of the house phones to call Killua. You couldn't take a punishment right now. Not when you felt like this.
The warm water felt nice, it ran down you soothingly. If you wanted to leave this house, it would have to be sooner than later. Begrudgingly you got out quickly drying yourself off. Slipping into something simple, comfortable, and warm. You threw a few things in a tote bag including your headphones. Killua liked listening to your music.
Your door slowly opened as you slipped through. A phone. One was right across the hallway. At Least having your own wing of the house had its perks. This phone was usually used to call the workers and butlers but you dialed his number instead.
The phone placed next to your ear was just ringing. Your eyelids felt like they were getting heavier by the second. You nervously tapped your foot gently against the floor while looking around for anybody.
“Hello?”
Killua had decided to pick up despite the unknown number. Usually he ignored the calls but you had mentioned once that sometimes you tried to call and he wouldn't pick up. It confused him because from his prior knowledge you didnt have a phone. You had quickly explained that it was a house phone, not a personal one. After that he picks up just to make sure it's not you who he's ignoring.
“Hii killua, sorry that we haven't spoken in a while. I've been caught up with things…” A soft sigh escaped you before continuing with a hushed voice, “Where are you? Can we meet up?”
He responded rather quickly. “Yeah..yeah we can meet up. I'm free.” He then answered your other question, “I'm far so don't worry where I am. Just tell me where you want to go, idiot.”
Your lips curled up, you haven't heard his voice in a while. There was no denying you had missed the sound of it. He always made you feel better, perhaps he would make you feel better during this fever of yours. ”That view you took me too, next to the city lights and all. I wanna go there.”
A smile was worn on your face, your words seem rushed. Well, You were rushed. You were rushing to see him and to leave your house. Your fingers found the wire of the phone fiddling with it soon after.
“Geez. There? Are you in trouble or something?”
Killua spoke questioning your choice of place. It made him feel nervous, embarassed. The first time he took you there, it was nervewrecking for him. And he would feel the same meeting you there again. Though, He couldn’t get himself to say no to you. It's not like he was thinking about it in the first place.
“About to be! Meet me there as soon as possible, ‘kay? I love you killua! byee.”
You had been whispering by the time the call ended. But he still caught it. And his voice got caught in his throat as he thought to himself.
‘She said it..! I heard it, she loves me..?!?’
The boy's face was a flushed bright pink. He gulped, his grip on his phone getting awfully tight. There was definitely something wrong with you! How could you say it so normally? Did it not make you nervous? Why didnt he say it back?! He would never have the guts to say it without covering your face or pushing you away first. Well your words certainly had an effect on him.
Killua had run with a small amount of godspeed activated.
Now it was time for you to get out. The phone was put down as you walked back over to your room. You swiftly slipped through closing the door behind you. Your balcony. That's where you would leave by. You pulled one of the doors open, not enjoying the breeze you felt. Any other time you would've liked it, but it just made you feel beyond freezing.
After closing the door you had jumped off the balcony. You could be thankful your parents taught you these things. Sure, for different purposes but still useful at the moment.
When you had landed, you immediately bolted through whatever was in your way. Through the trees, around the decorations, and sneaking past the wall separating you and the outside.
It took you longer than Killua did to make it there. When you eventually got there, you were breathing deeply, not paying much attention to your surroundings. He watched you before moving from the tree to stand in front of you.
His gaze softened as he looked at you. He seemed..nervous? What for? His hands were buried in his pockets. A smile appeared on your face when you finally registered his presence. You felt even more feverish just being around him.
9:25pm
“Hi Killuaaa,”
He took one more glance at your face.
“You’re sick aren't you?”
“Maybe, it doesn't matter. You're immune to poisons right? Sickness…poison..same thing.”
Killua rolled his eyes, holding back a smile. He had followed suit when you passed him to sit against one of the trees. You leaned your head back, closing your eyes.
He took a seat next to you, scanning you fully. You breathed deeply before opening your eyes to look back at him. Killua had quickly looked away. Obviously from being caught staring at you. It even annoyed him that you noticed it.
There was a sudden weight on his shoulder that made him glance back just to see the top of your head. You felt the immediate tense of his body before he finally eased up.
“Killua? Want one?” You held up the other earbud. The other was already in your ear. His hand grazed yours when he had mumbled a yes you assumed. He was cold, his hand was cold. But being cold when you had a fever was a good thing right?
You clicked through the songs before eventually choosing one, shoving the device back into your pocket. His shirt felt soft..his breathing would hitch occasionally since he was still a bit awkward with your touches.
9:48pm
Eventually your head started to fall. You had fallen asleep. His hand quickly moved to keep your head in place.
“Hey..hey.” He spoke softly like he didn't want to wake you up. Killua just wanted to see how deep in sleep you were. He poked your forehead scanning over your features. That got a small reaction out of you, your face scrunching ever so slightly. He sighed, rubbing where he poked you trying to sooth you.
killua proceeded to grab your sides swiftly moving you in between his legs. Laying you against his chest with a loose grip on you. His hands hovered over you before resting one at your waist. The other caresses the back of your head. just to make sure you were comfortable.
His breathing was uneven and his heart was pumping faster than normal. He seemed a bit paranoid looking around before finally settling down himself. This kind of proximity with you made him flustered despite him initiating it.
12:47am
You had woken up, your eyes slowly readjusting to the scene. Killua had laid his head on top of yours, breathing softly. You could guess He had fallen asleep not too long after you. His arm was still around your waist, the other grazing your hair.
Yes, you could wake him up. Did you want to? No. Not at all. It was rare moments like this that made everything else in life irrelevant. Instead, you wrapped your arm around him. The other hand ran through his fluffy white hair.
He grumbled at the feeling, hiding his head in the crook of your neck. His grip around your waist tightened trying to pull you closer. You could hear the crickets and trees rustling against each other. You felt him wrapped around you keeping you warm.
His head lifted from your neck, meeting your gaze after his eyes adjusted. You tilted your head at him, a small smile resting on your face. Killua stared back, deciding to be a bit out of character, just for now.
He checked your forehead and you were burning up but not as much as before. Well..it wasn't like you could get him sick anyways. He sighed tilting his head back at you before going for it.
His lips pressed against yours as his hands held your waist for security. You reciprocated, your hand balling up the fabric of his shirt. His lips were soft and warm, yours might’ve been too because he just leaned into you. Intentional and sweet was what you could expect from kissing him.
Killua was always hesitant and nervous to kiss you. But when he finally did, the embarrassment would melt away. He would try to keep you there as long as possible. A small plea in his eyes if you dared to break away. At the moment, that was the last thing on your mind.
The fever added to your exhaust, making your kisses softer. Slower. Much slower. You let go of your grasp on his shirt instead using it to hold his face. Killua felt warmer when he was kissing you. Maybe it was your heat rubbing off on him. Was that possible?
After, you parted from him with a long deep breath. This was your favorite part, the way he looked at you afterwards. Unlike how he usually acted, he just looked at you like you were an angel sent on earth. There wasn't much talking after the kisses. Most of the time, he would cling quietly to you. Leading to the two of you falling asleep intertwined.
This night wasn't any different from those. Except for the fact he waited until you succumbed to sleep. Just before he fell asleep too, he kissed your forehead murmuring.
“I love you too.”

Angel

FOR A MOMENT I WAS HEAVENSTRUCK...
Synopsis: You caught a certain white haired boys attention! This takes place during the Hunter exam arc. Inspo from Kokomi Teruhashi :) Its hard being so perfect. The blossoming of something new. Meeting killua in the hunter exam.
Ridiculously pretty. That's what Killua thought when he saw you. His eyes widened so much you thought that you had accidentally committed a crime.
It wasn't unusual for eyes to linger on you. In fact, if someone didn’t look you would assume something was wrong. But this gaze was different. The bluest eyes you’ve ever seen stared right back at you when you looked across the room.
You were picture perfect. An angel on earth could be debated to be an understatement. You were the kind of girl others tried to replicate. There were girls with some of your features, sure. But on you? They just made sense.
Of course, you always defended them whenever you heard these comparisons! Kindess to everyone was one of your priorities.
Your eyes reflected the sunlight and shined despite the lack of sun. Your hair, face, energy, it was unbelievably perfect. You had a strong aura surrounding you before you even knew what nen was. His eyes lingered on your face before slowly scanning you as a whole. The tunnel was long, and you kept a soft, practiced smile, looking straight ahead. The typical stare never bothered you, but his was... different.
‘Geez..even her bodys nice.’
Killua shook his head, looking down suddenly finding his skateboard way more interesting. He was embarrassed at how obvious he was being.
‘So many poor people are struggling to keep up..maybe I can help motivate them! They’ll be so appreciative.’
You thought to yourself glancing around the exam. The smile-and-wave combo was a classic of yours. It always seemed to brighten the mood.
‘They look so happy! Honestly, I should be thanked by the hunter corporation..’
Despite the interesting crowd, boys would always act like boys. You heard the soft whir of skateboard wheels before spotting him again.
When you'd first entered the exam site, you saw him drinking a soda. Tonpa had offered you one too. You took it politely, saying you’d drink it later. Lucky for you, someone warned you not to, said it was dangerous for a girl like you.
You heard Tonpa ask for his name to cheer to a new friendship.
Killua? If you remembered correctly… he’d drunk two.
Unlucky for you, you zoned out looking at him. He definitely noticed. You tried to recover by waving at him.
‘Oh shit, Me?’
He blinked rapidly, cheeks tinting pink. Killua had stares you down for a moment before trying to save himself and gave a halfhearted wave back.
Was this is his way of trying to act uninterested? That irritated you… not that you’d admit that out loud.
‘How dare you take for granted something other people would die for—‘
Your inner rant was cut off by a boy suddenly next to you.
“Hey, what’s—how—uh…”
Damn, The poor boy regretted even approaching you. He cursed at himself for thinking he could be normal around you when he never talked to anyone. Let alone a girl he found attractive. He fell silent so you decided to step in.
“Hi, my name is (y/n) , what's your name?”
(Y/n)…(y/n)…it suited you. He gulped, eyes darting away from you.
“Killua,”
it came out more passive aggressive than he wanted it to. He was nervous and the poor attempt at acting cool didn’t help. He didn’t want to look at you, but you caught him sneaking glances every few seconds.
“Nice to meet you, Killua. I’m glad you said hi to me.” You offered him a small smile.
He blinked, surprised by how easy you made it sound. No teasing, no pressure. Just genuine warmth.
A beat passed before he nodded, almost to himself. “Yeah. Me too.”
It was quiet for a second, not awkward, just enough to make the air between you feel different. You looked forward again, keeping pace with the crowd, and for the first time since the exam started. Killua found himself slowing down just a little - like he didn’t mind matching your pace.
“You have a nice name,” A second later you added, “I’ve never heard it before.”
The smile plastered on your face only grew. His face twitched as you spoke. It seemed like he didnt recieve much compliments… You almost felt sorry for talking so much.
Killua was cute. His nonchalant attitude intrigued you. But you weren’t here for that.
You were here to become a Hunter. To prove that you were more than perfect—you were one in eight billion. Not just a pretty, pampered girl. You could pass this exam. And you’d do it with ease.
He opened his mouth again, trying to find the words to thank you or say something. But before he could, he noticed… the intruder.
A girl had slowly drifted to your side.
Pon. Ponzi? No—Ponzu.
You’d approached her back when the first phase started, and now she was talking to you. You made easy small talk with her. She seemed comfortable, even a little nervous, avoiding eye contact with anyone else. Odd.
Killua, meanwhile, was practically shooting daggers at Ponzu.
He had clearly talked to you first. And she had the nerve to interrupt?
With a huff, he pushed off and skated to where he eventually stopped near a green-haired boy.
You noticed his absence. Eyes scanning the crowd until you spotted him again. He was beside the other kid, but his gaze flicked directly to you before looking away.
You smiled to yourself, this exam was going to be more entertaining than expected.

Late night calls

Killua isn’t exactly happy you didn’t pick up tonight. You usually do. Did you fall asleep? He tries not to overthink it, but a tiny grudge starts to form in his chest. You missed the call, his call. One of the rare times he actually gets away with calling from the Zoldyck estate.
With a quiet groan, he dials your number again. It’s a number he knows by heart now, one his fingers move to almost instinctively.
(Y/nn) - (2 missed calls)
An extra letter he added to the end of your name that he insisted was an accident. He always said it was a typo, he was just too lazy to fix it. So he kept it that way. Though, the thought lingered of the way he felt his cheeks warm up when he purposely typed it in after contemplating for a few minutes.
He sighed, tossing in bed, the silence of the home pressing around him. Between the training and his family. He never liked being home much. You distracted him from that, even if just for a few minutes, just until you said you had to sleep. His phone long forgotten, thrown at the edge of the bed after his unanswered call. With a final groan, he closed his eyes. His frustration slowly giving way to the exhaustion.
‘She’ll pick up tomorrow’ he would murmur in the pillow, tucking himself back into bed.
-
The music hummed softly in your ears. It was on a low volume, it always seemed louder at night. Usually killua would call at this time. ‘Weird..’ you thought to yourself. There was no denying how much you enjoyed those late night calls. It was you and him talking about everything and nothing at the same time. He always acted like you were the one bothering him with his annoyed sighs and grumbles. But the way he stayed on the line told you otherwise. The thought made you smile just a bit. He was one of your closest friends, you supposed. It didnt feel right though so you would prefer not to say that in hopes of… in hopes of what?
The music was still playing in the back. It would make you think about killua. It didnt matter why you thought of him. Compared to other people, who are you? Gon and Killua were bestfriends but what you and him had was different. It felt more personal, closer in a sense, something that only existed between the two of you.
Unlike the ex-assassin, your phone was on do not disturb. However, bored out of your mind but refusing to sleep. Your finger dragged the screen down to check for any new notifications.
Killua?
A small grin formed on your face as you stared at it. Atleast he called, maybe you should call back? Ten minutes ago. What if he was asleep? It wasnt like Killua had ever considered that, he would wake you up without a second thought to talk to you.

Incoming call - (Y/nn)
Killua didn’t really fall asleep. Sure, maybe he was nodding off but he was still waiting. And it came. The soft glow of his phone shining due to your call back. He would smile to himself before putting on an annoyed act.
“What took you so long?” His voice would mock annoyance but it wasnt quite all the way there. He would let it go as soon as he heard you laugh quietly at him. A small tinge of pink coated his cheeks and his eyebrows furrowed.
“sorry kil, my phone was on dnd. Besides, I could’ve been sleeping y’know?” The white haired boy immediately tensed a bit, clearly frustrated. Honestly, it was entertaining hearing it radiate through the phone. It was kind of cute to listen to. “Well, you should remember I call you at this hour practically everyday..” You could see his eye twitch in your mind. He used that same irritated tone whenever he did. “Plus, you never sleep on the weekends. So just answer. I almost fell asleep from how long it took!” Killua was dramatic for when it counted. Which was all the time. Both you and him knew he was awake waiting for you to answer.
