i wanna watch alien stage, seems very interesting but it also seems to have major character deaths, which im not really a big fan of, but i wanna watch it for ivan, he seems to be my type of fictional men 😉 but is it worth the watch? i think so, but im not entirely sure if i wanna be emotionally invested in it, considering all the things i see on twitter and tiktok lol
#primal talks#alien stage#i got very much interested when i was a tiktok where someone noticed the type of instruments use for the characters' heart beat#and ivan was the drums and i love me instrumental based heart beats 💓 😌#but im like debating if i wanna watch or not

cold hands, warm heart
jing yuan x gn! foxian! reader
theme: fluff, little angsty not so much
warning: none
summary: (name) had been feeling kind of down lately. anywhere they go with jing yuan, they heard unkind comments about themself. usually they never bother them, but now they asked themself; did they deserved jing yuan and his love?
notes: been craving more jing yuan lately~! someone please talk to me about him 😫🙏 lol also here's another read for jing yuan ( ´∀`) enjoy, and any feedback, reblogs, and comments are appreciated!
(name) was a quiet, reserved foxian from the xianzhou luofu. they liked being alone. they don't like being around people. people were annoying and dull-witted. they hated crowded areas and loud noises that hurt their fox-like ears. or people with invasive hands grabbing at their tail without permission from the foxian. people were truly troublesome. but (name) never met a more infuriating person in their entire life than the divine foresight of the xianzhou luofu. he was a bother. always following them around. making embarrassing comments about them. dragging them to places where there would be loud crowds, just to wrap an arm around them and pull them closer to his side while letting his hand linger on their waist. jing yuan was someone (name) wished to avoid. yet a little part of them liked the attention. made them feel less… lonely.
the loneliness disappeared whenever jing yuan was around (name). the foxian acted irritated at his presence, refusing to admit they liked his company and their little conversations. refusing to engulf themself further into his warming touches, his gentle caressing on their ears and tail.
it didn't take long for the foxian to learn their true feelings for jing yuan, causing them to grow distant and more mean-spirited towards him. but keen were the eyes of the dozing general. he saw through their little rebellious act, as he liked to call it, and took his time with them until they were comfortable enough to come forth and spill their hidden feelings to him. jing yuan smiled, so dazzling and handsome, eyes closed. listening to his favorite little fox ramble on and on about how annoying he was to them but came to love that annoyance wholeheartedly. he loved the way their cheeks burned as he caressed it with the back of his hand.
from that moment on, jing yuan stuck by their side whenever they were around each other. whether they were walking around aurum alley or resting lazily in the seat of divine foresight, jing yuan's touches would find their way around their body. and he would let out a laugh here and there whenever his beloved gets flustered and embarrassed about the public affections, gentle swatting at his hands but never fully pushing him away.
but not many see it as playful banter. (name) was known to be pissy callous and mean growing up, a way they thought for people to leave them be. they never cared what others think, what they say about the foxian behind their back. but it didn't mean that sometimes (name) didn't feel bad about themself whenever they heard about how unfit they were to be the divine foresight's lover.
“i don't get what he sees in them. they're nothing special.”
“they're so mean to the general! what is he even around someone so rude and nasty?”
“tch. the general deserves to be with someone beautiful and elegant. not this despicable, horrid fox.”
such comments never bother him. until this time.
“they're so clingy to the general. i would be sick of having them around me if they were this clinging and rotten. i wouldn't be surprised if the general just kept them around to relieve some stress.”
(name) liked being alone. and they sometimes wished they were left alone. so they never had to hear such comments like that. they tried not to let it get under their skin. jing yuan wasn't that kind of person. he loved his darling fox, happily showing them off despite getting scolded lovingly. but it was comments like those that was enough to make the foxian question themself.
did they truly deserve jing yuan?
the foxian stared down from the bridge in the central starskiff haven and watched the starskiffs fly in and out below them. maybe jing yuan deserved better than them. someone who wasn't harsh with him and returned his affections without making a fuss over it. (name) sighed, their eyes shifting over to the general, who was speaking with some people from the palace of astrum. his gaze met theirs, startling the foxian as they huffed and quickly looked away, focusing once more on the starskiffs below the bridge.
“feelings hungry?” a deep, husky voice asked behind them. (name) clicked his tongue, tensing a bit when an arm wrapped around their waist. “or are you tired? we can go back home if you wish.” of course, home was the fox's but jing yuan visited so often, it felt like they lived together.
“don't you have work to do?” they asked, relaxing into the embrace jing yuan pulled them in. he shook his head, smiling at them.
“it can wait. right now, my dear fox needs me.” jing yuan pressed a soft kiss on their temple, grinning when he heard (name) stutter out a small complaint about the kiss. his golden eyes glanced over his shoulder when he heard a passing comment about the way his foxian lover reacted to his affections, degrading them at the same time. hearing such a comment, he turned to his fox and wondered if they heard it as well. they wore an irritated look on their face. “let's head home. there isn't much work today, yanqing and fu xuan can take care of the rest.” he added, taking their hand and leading them away from the bridge. (name) didn't say much, following their lover back to the starskiff that would lead the couple back to aurum alley.
(name) wondered why jing yuan was still stuck by their side. and they asked whenever they felt lonely thinking about it. his response always caused him a light smack on the back and a shy kiss on his lips.
“because i love you, of course.” the words tickled their heart warmly. “i cherish and adore you, dearest. i would be a madman if i didn't.” jing yuan continued, earning a scoff of a laugh from the foxian who laid beside him in bed. the general grinned, caressing their cheek lovingly. “why did you ask? are you thinking negatively?” (name) shook their head, an arm wrapped around the general's waist.
“no… i was just curious… i love you, too.” (name) said quietly, their cheeks burning up and darkening. pressing a side of their face against jing yuan's chest, the foxian snuggled closer to their partner. “go to sleep, i know you've been wanting to doze lately.” they said, closing their eyes. jing yuan stared at them, watching for any telltale sign of discomfort or sadness, but none were there. he laughed lightly, settling more comfortably in the bed as he pulled his foxian lover closer.
“sleep well, little fox.” jing yuan muttered against their head, his arms secured around them.
(name) was quiet and liked being alone, but having jing yuan by their side made their life more thrilling. no matter what anyone says about them, jing yuan would be there to erase those inferior thoughts and comments about the foxian who captured his heart. and (name) would do the same, because no one else had expressed such love to them like jing yuan had done and they would make sure to return the mutual feelings of protectiveness tenfold as their heart loved jing yuan.

cold heart, warm hands
jing yuan x gn! foxian! reader
theme: fluff
warning: none
summary: jing yuan took a day off and decided to spend it following a certain foxian with a hot temper. if there was one thing he hate, is those speaking ill of his little fox.
notes: i've never written for jing yuan before, so! sorry if he's a little ooc haha~ anyway, i couldn't stop thinking about reader being annoyed with jing yuan following them around whenever he's off or not super busy and making snipe comments about it, but it never really bothered them in the first place. they just can't handle a very handsome man like jing yuan putting all his love and attention on them, so they can't help but feel super flustered lol~ anyway, enjoy, and any feedback, reblogs, and comments are appreciated!
“what are you doing?”
“hm? i can’t follow my dear fox around?”
“you’re a general, aren’t you busy doing something?”
“hmph— not today.” jing yuan said with a light laugh as he trailed behind the hot-tempered foxian. (name) clicked with their tongue against their teeth. their fox ears pulled back, twitching whenever the general spoke their name in that deep, husky voice of his.
the foxian was out in the central starskiff haven, planning to do some shopping to restock their little café back at the aurum alley. but they found themself being followed by a certain dozing human they came to love very much. (name) glanced over their shoulder as they crossed the bridge, raising a brow when they spotted jing yuan looking over the rail with his hands behind his back. The foxian tilted their head before walking over quietly, standing a little behind the taller man.
they studied his face, admiring the light complexion and the little mole under his left eye. it was like falling in love all over again.
“if you keep staring at me like that, i might not hold back, little fox.” their eyes locked with golden ones, full of playful teasing. (name) let out a sharp huff, cheeks burning at the fact they were caught. usually they would throw an insult at the general for making such teasing comments but today they decided to spare him such silly little jabs. for a little while. jing yuan chuckled, continuing to follow his beloved the second they turned around to hide their embarrassed gaze and walked away from him. strolling through the haven was something the general rarely did and when he did, it was to tag along with his partner in their little errand days.
jing yuan stood behind (name) as they checked around the grocery stand in the haven, placing the orders they would need for their own business.
“woah, it’s the general!” a few voices gasped at the sight of the white-haired man. jing yuan didn’t turn around, his gaze still focused on his foxian lover as they huff and puff around the poor merchant, jabbing at his chest with little strength as they complained about something jing yuan failed to hear.
“you’re always out of protein rice! who the hell would buy all hundred protein rice at once!?” (name) said, their arms spreading out to make their point. The shopkeeper only scratched the back of his head, swearing he knew someone with gray hair who always came by and emptied out his shop. (name) didn’t believe him and continued to scold the shopkeeper for being unprepared. jing yuan chuckled at the sight of the foxian’s frown, but his laugh died down when he heard a scoff not too far from behind him.
“i don’t understand what the general sees in them? they’re so rude and mean-spirited.” a bystander commented to his friends, not realizing he was being slightly loud. “i’m surprised their café still stands with such a distasteful attitude.” he added with a scowl on his face. jing yuan kept quiet, his arms crossed over his chest as he listened to the conversation about (name). The others in the group agreed, expressing their sympathy for the shopkeeper and the general for having such a difficult partner. jing yuan wanted to turn around and shut down their judged comments about the foxian, but he felt a tug on his sleeve.
“c’mon, i’m hungry.” they said, waving at the shopkeeper who smiled back at them with a bow of his head.
“did you sort your issues?” jing yuan asked, curious about the agreement they came to.
“Yeah, next time he restocks, he’ll keep half of the products i want to be stored away until i come over and take what i need.” (name) explained with a nod of their head. jing yuan smiled, looping his arm with his foxian’s. “anyway, are you gonna be busy later?” they asked, to which the general shook his head in response. he freed today to spend it with his beloved. “then let’s have a date tonight. it’s been a while since we had one.”
“that would be wonderful. a nice evening alone with my little fox.” jing yuan teased, smirking when (name) smacked his arm, but not too hurt, as they stammered through their bashful words. jing yuan took their hand in his, bringing it up to his lip to press little sweet kisses on their knuckles. such a gesture made the foxian’s heart spread warmth all over their chest and beat rapidly. their timid gaze looked away, letting the general continue to hold their hand.
those judgmental bystanders never met his partner to make such unnecessary, impudent comments about his (name). they were a flustered fox, but also caring and understanding (to some degree). jing yuan would defend the foxian until his last breath, but he knew that (name) never cared for anyone’s opinions on them. except for their boyfriend’s. and the only cheeky comments jing yuan would make always tend to be playful and endearing for his dearest, never meaning any ill-mannered in his words or tone. “i’ve heard that short auntie has a new recipe. should we try it out?” the foxian nodded, giving the dozing general a little dazzling smile. “then let’s dine at the delicacy pavilion.” jing yuan chimed, leaving them back to the seat of divine foresight, wanting to sleep in a bit before their evening date. their hands intertwined, swinging gently as they walked side by side and chatted along the way. Well, jing yuan mostly listens to his fox, admiring the features he came to love deeply.

xiao x witch!gn!reader pt. 5
When I'm around slow dancing in the dark Don't follow me, you'll end up in my arms You have made up your mind I don't need no more signs Can you? Can you?
theme: fluff
warning: none, probably a slight ooc xiao
summary: the flashback comes to an end. paimon wanted more but aether needed to go back to verr goldet to report their findings on their friend's disappearance. finally alone, xiao and (name) spend their time together in peaceful silence.
notes: finally finished pt 5 of spellbound~! ngl i miss writing for gi lol i haven't play the game this month or last. i've been playing more hsr and fortnite lmao also work and school were on my ass. anyway! hope you enjoy this one! reblogs, comments, and other feedbacks are appreciated! ty <3
the walk back to the main path was relatively quiet. there were no more monsters around to attack them. (name) followed behind the dark teal-haired yaksha, the basket and their vision in their hands. their eyes looked over the anemo user with curiosity. tracing the tattoo he bared on his right arm. it looked beautiful. the color suited the yaksha. the witch heard about the yakshas from his father. how there were five but four of them were lost to time and the tragedies surrounding liyue. xiao was the last surviving one. (name) couldn’t imagine the pain he must have gone through all these years. they understood the feelings of losing a loved one dear to them.
“watch where you’re going.” his sharp tone had the witch pausing right on their tracks, looking up at the yaksha with a blank expression. their eyes followed his gaze, looking down at the ground. there was a puddle of water on the path, the witch walked around it before meeting up again with the other vision user, this time walking by his side but keeping their distance. the two rounded a corner where the path split into two different routes on each end of the main path. (name) pointed out they must have come from the path that led to the ruins behind them. turning to the yaksha, the witch gave a small bow of their head before pointing ahead of them.
“my home will be this way. thank you for guiding me back to the main path,” they said, a smile full of gratitude beamed at xiao. xiao only clicked his tongue and looked away.
“just stop getting into trouble. next time i won’t be there to save you again.” xiao told them, but the witch laughed as they could see through his little lie. xiao turned his back on them and readied himself to disappear again but the voice of (name) froze him on the spot.
“i’ll come visit at the wangshu inn with a bowl of almond tofu! as a way to further my thanks to you.” before the yaksha could protest, (name) made their way farther into the path leading up to the broken bridge. xiao sighed as he watched from his spot before vanishing once they were out of sight. untrue to his words, he helped (name) stay out of trouble, letting them call him by his name in case they were in serious danger.
“after that, he wouldn’t stop following me around~!” teased (name) after recounting their meeting with the last yaksha. xiao scoffed, a faint hue of pink decorating his cheeks. The scoff caused the trio to turn their heads over to the short man, startling them. paimon yelped at the sudden appearance of the yaksha.
“you just wouldn’t stop getting into trouble.” countered xiao, arms crossed over his chest as he stared down at the witch. paimon pointed at him with her narrowed eyes.
“hey! when did you get here!? weren’t you just out and about collecting materials for (name)?” questioned the flying little girl with a tilted of her head and her small hands behind her back, floating over to the demon slayer. xiao huffed. the traveler and the witch greeted the yaksha’s return. xiao placed the basket full of the requested materials on the nightstand beside (name)’s bed before standing by their side once more.
“it was no difficult task. the materials were quick to find.” xiao answered, looking over at paimon and aether. “now, i might ask you to leave the residence. (name) still needs to get some more proper rest.” he added, hands moved to rest on his waist. paimon pouted, her own hands on her tiny waist. aether chuckled at her reaction before giving xiao a nod.
“what!? but we just finished hearing the story of how you guys met! paimon still got loads of questions for (name)!” paimon argued, earning a small laugh from both aether and the witch. aether tugged on her scarf gently, urging her to move along with him. “ooh, fine! only because we got to go report back to verr goldet since she had been worried about her friend’s well-being, hmph! but once (name) gets better, paimon would demand to hear more about you guys!” with those words out, paimon grumpily followed the blonde traveler out the entrance of the cottage house, closing the door behind them and finally left the yaksha and his witch alone.
(name) chuckled. they had never met anyone like them before. their (color) eyes followed the dark-tealed haired adeptus with the basket into the kitchen connected to their living room. the cottage wasn’t that spacious. the only separations in the house by walls was their bedroom and their bathroom. A soft hum left their lips. the witch was tired of being bedridden. their back was starting to ache from laying down all day. moving carefully over the edge of the bed, (name) slowly stood up. being sick sucked. their chest hurt from coughing so much, their nose was runny and stuffy, and they suffered headaches when the light was too bright or the noises were too loud. their body suffered the most, aching every second of the day and night.
walking into the kitchen, their quiet movements didn’t manage to escape the adeptus’ keen senses.
“you shouldn’t get out of bed.” xiao stated without turning his attention to the witch. yet he didn’t make a move to get them back to the bed and confine them under their blanket. a small notebook was in one of his gloved hands. (name) pouted and recognized the notebook as being their spellbook. it seemed xiao was trying to make the elixir for their sickness. the thought warmed their heart. they walked up to the yaksha, standing by his side with curiosity. the witch didn’t make a move to help him out, wanting to see how he intended to make the recipe without knowing proper knowledge about the witchcraft. xiao shifted under their gaze, clearing his throat as he flipped to the page marked with the recipe for the elixir. “go back to bed and rest. i’ll wake you up when the potion is ready.” the yaksha said, finally looking over at (name). but his gaze wasn’t the usual cold, distant look he always had on to intimidate anyone trying to get close to him. no, he wore a soft expression, only reserved for the witch before him.
(name) stared at him, staying quiet for a moment before a faint, tender smile crossed their features. “don’t blow up the house, kay?” they teased, laughing lightly at the deadpan look on their yaksha’s face while turning around to head back to their bedroom. of course, they weren’t worried about the adeptus getting their home destroyed for making a mistake in the small pot. (name) trusted xiao, and it was enough for the yaksha to start working on the recipe with no fear of doing any harm in the household and to his partner. there was no need for them to make conversations. they had silence bring peace and comfort into their home with the adeptus. it was all the witch needed and all what xiao preferred. even being in a separate room was enough for the two. hearing the cluttering outside the bedroom lulled the witch into a deep slumber, a well rested and needed sleep.
xiao checked on them after a little time had passed since he didn’t hear any more movements from their room. his eyes softened at the sight of their sleeping figure. walking over, he stared at their face. he didn’t have to devour their dreams to know they were having a good one, their tender expression alone said all of it. with the urges rising, xiao took off a glove and gently ran his hand through their hair, the sensation bringing out a relaxed sigh out of (name).
not sensing anyone around the perimeter of the house, xiao leaned down and placed a sweet kiss on their forehead, leaving behind a lingering feeling on them. a faint smile graced his looks before quickly vanishing the second it came. not wanting to leave the pot on alone any longer, xiao walked back to the kitchen and left his partner to sleep peacefully.
