Hi! I (F) am looking to make a costume for the first time and am new to the hobby.

for context, I'm making outfits for my girlfriend and I since we are going to the Renaissance Faire. (It's basically a medieval con if you're unaware.) I prefer feminine clothing and while she prefers more masculine clothing. we chose the theme of mushrooms and flowers. Me dressing with a lavender flower theme and her a mushroom witch of sorts!

I am looking for any suggestions or tips for costuming and or ideas for what kind of clothing we could wear! thank you in advance ❤️
