It’s 4am and I’m doomscrolling in bed but I just realized weekly maintenance ended for IdolLand…

(It also had its own selection sprite, which I thought was neat)

Trying to figure out the basics of modding the PriPara switch game.

So far I managed to implement a 2D sprite… except it’s not where I want it to be.

(Btw I’m using a mod by 梦幻雪之声, a BiliBili user who I admire. I managed to get the mod with the help of a Reddit user who can access Baidu cloud files)

Pic on the left is where the sprite should be, pic on the right is where it ended up.

But then again, I’m figuring this out slowly, and surely enough, I’ll be able to add a custom recolor with a custom ID slot.

By the end of the day I’m hoping I can help assemble a team of people who actually care about modding this game, and we could make a modded and fan-made “Plus” version of the game.

IdolLand finally has the Paradise Lavender Coord, which is/was イザベラ’s “default/go-to” Coord in the Switch game.

With the same MyChara parts and (almost) the same Coordination, イザベラ remains the perfect Princess Idol!

BONUS: A comparison between the Switch game and IdolLand using the same characters and Coords (the most notable difference is the shading in each idol’s hair)

My A!RM Pride Month 2025 Fanart!

I drew all of this (except Trixy) in one night.

This is also my first major artwork done on my desktop PC instead of my 9yo MacBook

Fun Fact: I drew front-facing Gromble without a single reference/out of memory, and I’m really proud of myself for how he turned out

As of June 6, 2025, I have officially graduated high school!

To commemorate this eventful milestone, I made this pic in IdolLand!

My high school colors are/were Green and Gold, and the female seniors wear gold gowns when graduating. So, I dressed イザベラ in an outfit suiting the occasion!

Background was made using various stock images, no generated-by-computer content included!

Here’s a pic I did of my IdolLand MyChara (left) and my 3DS MyChara (from the first 3DS game, Idol Grand Prix No. 1)

I took a pic of the QR code image (aka the one to scan with another 3DS system) with my 3DS, transferred it to my PC, then to my MacBook, which then went to my phone for editing with a MyChara-less version of the background, and went into IdolLand to create the picture!

Call it “Isabella Generations” if you want (Sonic reference)

There is a good chance it will be region-locked without a VPN, but the official King of Prism channel is planning on hosting a SUPER MARATHON of legacy stuff leading up to the release of Your Endless Call in June 2025.
