Today is Mao’s birthday 🎂

Here’s a doodle from about a week ago.

More fangans have been coming recently along with my resurgence on Danganronpa as a whole, so I will try to update here. (Key word try)

Oh yeah speaking of which, I’m working on sleepyronpa stuff so I definitely want to get to my own fangan class designs for that!

Decided to practice the actual art style on my girl Mao.

Used Kaede as a base at first, then I freehanded from sketch. This was actually hard to do lol

Akira loves to study the human body, especially the blood stream. These studies would help him in his desire to help those who suffer from some of the worst blood related diseases and possibly find a cure for them. This progress did lead to an effective medicine he created, but it will still take a while for a cure all to be made. Given his family history of blood diseases, as well as the patches of bruises on his skin that he hides under his clothes, it makes sense why Akira would be dedicated to help others with the same issues.

Kane grew up in a small lodge in Canada, watching many lumberjacks chop down many trees. He knew that he could be a lumberjack just like them, but his scrawniness was subject to teasing. This only fueled his love for chopping trees, but the anger he never unleashes is instead taken out by said trees…with his bare hands. Overtime, his stress reliever led to him chopping down over thousands of trees, again with his bare hands. Then the invitation arrived at his mailbox, and he was surprised. Of course, Kane would never turn down this opportunity to show off his tree chopping skills.

The ocean life called to Josephine while she lived by the lakes in Wales as a child. Studying the hundreds of species that swim the waters not only drove her to study them, but to protect them. These many discoveries strengthen her research and physical ability to swim deeper into the shores, leading to her earning her invitation to Hope’s Peak. The only problem, however, is that Hope’s Peak has yet to make a functional aquarium specifically for her so she can communicate with the sea animals more.

The Miyoga Family Circus is one of the most largest circus shows in Japan. Anri, the oldest of over a dozen children, manages to lead the entire family while also being one of the main performers. It’s a lot of work to impress her elders, who are looking to see which of the children that will take over the family business after they pass away. Anri managed to get an invitation to Hope’s Peak after one of the heads saw her sword swallowing performance-while in a cage with a white tiger. She was honored by this, hoping to spread the joy of her craft to her other classmates.

He calls himself “the human meat shield”, and for very good reason. For every fight he gets himself into, he walks it off with a few bruises. But this is nothing. Daisuke loves the thrill of getting himself hurt, to the point where he has gotten himself in situations that should have killed him. He somehow survives so many of these instances, thus earning him his Ultimate title. The heads of Hope’s Peak did show concern for his multiple injuries, a few of them looking fresh. But again, he says he’s fine.

Baking has runned in the Manabe household for quite a few years. There’s even local shops owned by Kokoro’s father. Kokoro, however, specializes in baking at the comfort of her own home rather than working under corporations. It has done wonders for her and her family business, as she has sold many copies of her recipe book. She couldn’t be more honored to not only get accepted to Hope’s Peak, but to eventually make new friends with her special recipes!
