i saw this video. it was surprisingly neutral, but you could tell the creator has an inherent bias towards their antiqueer participants. one of the "radqueers" they brought on was not even radqueer.

🤍: my history in the rqc hasn't been exactly good, but i think my favorite memory has been spending time in my server and laughing alongside my friends. i think this is the happiest i've ever been here, even if i'm not always well-liked.

hello everyone. i've seen a lot of confusion here on rqblr regarding the difference between a blankqueer, a stance, and a political ideology. i'd like to clear the air up a bit:

blankqueer: a term, or ideology label using the format of "[noun/adjective]queer" that briefly describes a set of stances in a bulleted or organized list, usually separated by pro, neutral, and con. usually focused on aesthetics and personal identity. e.x.: radqueer, warqueer, citrusqueer

political ideology: a clearly defined and in-depth term describing a set of political ideas and concepts. typically more organized, detailed, and does not follow a naming format. e.x.: xenosatanism, consistent progressivism, xenoanarchism

stance: a brief, shortened political idea, typically only encapsulating or focusing on one specific concept. e.x.: contact stances, critharm, medpunk

i hope this clears the air a bit.

FINALLY somebeing is speaking up about this. consistent progressivism sucks and you should look into alternative terms.

where would be good communities to find consistent progressives? i just learned about it and it sounds really cool ><

I would typically delete this ask but just using it to make things clear for anyone in future who may wonder why their ask wasn't answered: I will not be platforming pro-consistent progressivism content here because it is a very pro-harm ideology that priotisises advocating for use of violence against those who disagree with it rather than productive dialogue. As a victim of gun violence, I can't stand for it.

This ideology advocates for harm against me and billions of others in the name of not being a consistent progressive. I do not want people on my blog, which encourages productive discussions despite differences of opinion, if they're wishing harm or death upon people with those differing opinions.

Please do not reply with answers to this question. If you want this kind of info, as much as I wish you wouldn't go down this route, go and ask consistent progressives.

i would also like to add, anon, that words have several meanings. like all the time. why is transrace any different? it can mean multiple things.

and tbh, very few people used transrace as its original definition even before the rqc came around. it was always used by non-trace individuals to describe random trace people. most of the time it was a label that was forced onto us.

My issue with trace/transrace is that transrace is already a thing and it describes something completely different. Transrace is a term for people who were adopted into families who are a different race from them. The radqueer community has co-opted this term from actual transrace people.

This is why several years ago now, we opted for trace as a replacement, though I sometimes use transrace as a tag since the trace tag is also full of artists lol (and the other term is transracial, not transrace).

The pre-existing term that you're referring to is interracial (or transracial) adoption, and interracial is more often used now, but I'm glad we changed it to trace so transracial could continue being used in this way. Non-transid people spreading transracial around claiming we stole it is only making it harder to move to trace, which we've been trying to do for years as I said.

It's a very easy mistake to have made, I'm not sure why people seem to think it was a purposeful act to name the transid transracial, but if non-transid people could just let us use our replacement name in peace, that'd be great.

Your chrono age post is the realest thing ever btw. Never stop speaking the truth. We think it was the one that partially inspired us to try to establish a place where everyone can be their true IDs, while we were all alone and not fitting anywhere because of exclusion and ridiculous standards, and i think we succeeded in doing so.. So we just wanted to thank you for speaking out.

as someone who is transage, fighting back against transageism isn't an excuse to spread sexphobic rhetoric. there's nothing wrong with casual sexual interactions online with beings you don't know very well, so long as those beings consent
