the mortifying ordeal of being known vs. when someone associates a specific scent with you because you've been using body wash/ lotion/ perfume with that scent for a while now
#i know it's like well DUH but yeah...#a few years ago i used this one lotion that had such a strong/distinct scent that it clung to all my clothes and my skin 24/7#and everyone just... knew it was me. it was nice. feeling known and being recognized and seen#maybe it's a little dramatic. dunno#scents as a sign of love#scents associated with people#the mortifying ordeal of being known#lampnotes

the "slowly lurching towards your favorite city" line in anti-hero is just so good because it's like, she's going to ruin your lives and she doesn't mean to but she can't stop it so it is going to happen. everywhere she goes she leaves behind destruction and pain and it just keeps happening over and over. she just can't stop it
