I feel like people these days are literally unable to find a balance between their moral standpoint that something is either just really bad or really good.

I feel like I should be transparent on my opinions on pro/anti shipping

I am anti censorship because I study history and politics and I know media censorship of taboo problematic art always includes silencing queer/radical/poc art because that too is lumped into the label of taboo. I just don’t think you can legally censor things in a way that won’t silence queer art in the current status quo. You see that pattern still with a lot of current bills being introduced.

But in being anti censorship I also think criticism is important and shouldn’t be discouraged either. I think representation of sensitive topics matter and don’t exist in a vacuum of fiction. I don’t think the harm done in fiction is identical to real life but all ideas come from places and some are places are reminiscent of real life violence and oppression. Critiquing problematic fiction as a way to transition to discussions about real life issues is great in that way. I don’t think having a conversation about how art is offensive = censoring people.

I also am anti hostility, I think threatening people with violence only polarizes everything. I don’t think one group is “anti harassment” and the other is “pro harassment” I think both have the capacity to be cruel and hateful.

But tdlr, I think media should be free and I also think because things are free people can be free to be offended, uncomfortable, and upset. I’m also media literate (I like to think at least) and am generally uncomfortable with incest, rape, and pedophilia- and think it’s not crazy for people to be sensitive and uncomfortable around those topics. But I think it’s dangerous to stop creation and discussion on those things as a whole.

Most the time I just block and move on though. I don’t know what that makes me exactly.

Second of all, I wanted to ask how you got your undertale au art ‘out there’ when you first joined the fandom? Do you have any tips for beginner UTMV artists who want to share their drawings with the world? Sort of just, how you started out and got to accumulate such a great fanbase right now?

Hmmm for the question, I'd say when I got back into the utmv fandom I was simply just posting on TikTok, people found my unique style and stylistic choices for the sanses eye-catching so they chose to follow me! P sure I already built a slight fan base from my old fnafsb sun/moon art but I just really started hitting it off when I started posting utmv art...

For tips, id say just honestly be your authentic self, creative, and original. People love a new face to come to the table !

Shattered dream design plus some shattered dreamberry

First and last image are basically the same thing, paper ver was just a concept except dream was like freshly corrupted

My shattered Dream is similar to how his brother is, vampire based but instead surrounded by positivity obviously, he uses the radiance of positive aura to attract his victims into his trap. He feeds them positive energy till they start to get addicted to him, developing a codependency on just being around him until they eventually start going through withdrawals and physically cannot be without him, they'll basically overdose on happy chemicals.

Everything he is is like a drug, the goop, his saliva, ect. A drug with terrible consequences.

He feeds off the dependency that his victims have on him, and absolutely loves it.

I'm not sure if I'll make this exactly canon, but the black swirl on the goop of his eye is actually his socket melting into the goop, my boyfriend actually drew that on there :3

I'll probably elaborate more on him later if I feel like it he's been on my mind for the past few days<3

A portion of how I write him is a projection of my own struggles with the aftermath of trauma , and what I've researched upon from others. This is just me talking about Asy and the other alters in the system+ their purpose

Asylum sans Rework!

Asy is a system, osdd-1a due to the fact that said alters are simply just different versions split off eachother all with their own purpose. They have fragmented because of severe and repetive medical/experiment trauma from an early age.

Asy, nicknamed Bunny. He is the host of the system despite how the body ages they are permanently stuck to be the age they were when they experienced the trauma, the body itself is around the age late 20's-30s. He is completely unaware that they are a part of a system and the other system members hide that from him to keep their innocence. Papyrus is still infact a hallucination, he fully believes that he is real and tends to fall into meltdowns when he 'disappears'. Bun loves to talk when they get a chance to and really loves animals facts , esp facts about bunnies and different types of rabbits.

Sans is someone who rarely fronts, and when he does he is completely alone and when he is not he fades into 'non existence'. The others are unaware of his presence but he is there, he is the age of the body, he remembers everything and is aware of what he is and is a part of, he knows he cannot stay for long and that hes just going to be stuck in an endless cycle. He's pretty depressed, and usually fronts either to numb emotions or just literally out of the blue. He tends to take off all the stickers n random crap that Bun has plastered all over the body.

Thorne, they are a prosecutor/protector of the system they front if they feel the body is being threatened n some way, or if they feel like the body needs to be punished somehow. They are very aggressive and it's easy to tell when they are fronting unless they're heavily masking. He's a heavy influence on bun, because he talks to them and guides them to do certain things, to protect them. He isn't bad, he's just as hurt as all of them, he's also just a kid as well. He's hurt and filled with anger and feels that aggression is the only way of protection, if he bares his fangs then he cannot be hurt again. I still need to draw what he looks like

Syringe is a mania holder/prosecutor he fronts during psychotic breaks and manic episodes. He is filled to the brim with euphoria to the point where it hurts, he presents himself as the most energy and cheery one but it's not the case at all. He constantly goes back in fourth from getting traumatic flashbacks and just immediately forgetting them. He feels the need to inflict harm on the body because it's what he knows it's comforting to him almost to replicate his abuser, it keeps him at ease. Syr, is usually the one who needs to be restrained the most or put under when he is fronting, he is severely unstable.
