Why the fuck are TikTok FNAF fans so annoying. I know I’ve talked about this before but it’s every new game they come up again talking about how the new games suck and they miss old FNAF.

YOU CAN STILL PLAY OLD FNAF GAMES. You DONT have to play the new ones.

I honestly love the new games, I defend steelwool like the white knight I am. Help wanted 2 is literally my favorite game. Secret of the mimic was really fucking good. And I’ve been a fan since the first game ffs.

I think the biggest issue is that most fans don’t actually play the games. I’ve seen people talk about how sotm isn’t scary, which it can be for some people. I thought it was a little scary my first time because I had no idea wtf was happening and I didn’t have some stupid YouTuber in the corner of my screen talking over it.

But since they don’t play the game, they don’t get the lore from the source, and they listen to the bullshit people say online. It makes them not like the newer games cause they don’t experience it/ know what’s happening. I was fucking HYPED for fall fest cause I played hw1 and 2 and I knew sotm was gonna have connections to it, AND IT DID! But fans who don’t play the games, don’t really pay attrition to the gameplay from markiplier since he himself doesn’t know the lore (which is fine), they won’t understand why the new games are good.

Yes, sotm fills in a bunch of holes in the story, yes the mimic does explain things. You guys just don’t know cause you don’t fucking play them or just listen to whatever game theory said. Sorry Matthew isn’t here anymore to spoon feed you incorrect lore, you have to think for yourself now. I know.. scary..

I really hate this new era of FNAF fans, people who didn’t pay attention to the games 10 years ago and still don’t now. As a kid I was infuriated with FNAF 4 and people get pissed at me when I say I didn’t like it. If you were into theories back then, then you HAVE to remember how shit the lore was post fnaf 1. If you really wanna talk about bad lore, talk about how disconnected everything felt in 2015. New FNAF lore has to be the easiest shit to understand and if you don’t I genuinely think you don’t think you even knew old FNAF lore.

One last thing. If you want FNAF to be “scary” play an actual horror game. I’m sorry, no, none of the FNAF games have ever been scary. They’re all jumpscares, nothing with actual fear put into you. Play a real horror game if you want horror. Not five nights at Freddy’s.

I’m gonna say it. Fnaf games were always children games. I literally do not care what you say.

Notice the difference between horror games ACTUALLY not for kids and games that ARE for kids. No fucking kid is playing outlast 2 or amnesia. They’re gonna play the game with the bear on the poster cause they’re 10.

If you think I’m wrong, tell me what age you got into the games and how that happened. Maybe cause it isn’t scary and made for kids?

FNAF rant cause I love doing this instead of making art

Every time there’s a new FNAF trailer revealed i only see dumbass comments about how “I stopped following fnaf since ucn. I don’t even understand the new lore” I DONT FUCKING CARE. WE DO NOT CARE. GO BE A HATER IJ YOUR HEAD.

Like Jesus Christ do we really have to know every new game every new book every new WHATEVER, that you no longer follow fnaf lore?? GOOD FOR YOU? Literally no one cares. Most lukewarm take in the fnaf fandom

You can literally just be a fan of the first few games, most of the fandom is like that.

What really annoys me is when they’re like “the new lore is so complicated so I dropped out” yeah cause you listen to Matthew Patrick and don’t play the games or read the books (you don’t have to) so of course your fucking confused. You get your lore from a third party. And ALSO new FNAF lore really REALLY isn’t that complicated. If you were a fan from 2014- now, you would know how blessed we are now compared to back then. Back then we had NOTHINGGG and that’s why theories were so weird.

So yes, good for you you don’t care about the new games. Can you stop saying it every new game? We don’t care. I like fnaf, I like horror, I like sci-fi. I play the games and steel wool games are goated as hell.

Every time I talk to a fnaf fan I lose 6 brain cells. I’ll be dead by next week.
