ah the angel au. like i mention in the author's note on that one, it started from a tweet that i saw. i just thought that the idea fit really well. and the image of Jere with angel wings on a sunny winter day was just so beautiful i couldn't pass it.

in all honesty, there wasn't a whole lot of plot in my mind when i wrote this one. i wanted the melancholy and the confession of feelings and then the happy ending, but apart from those core ideas i just went with the flow i suppose.

i loved the idea of angel!jere being himself but also having this underlying layer of sadness, because i think that any creature that has seen the human race across centuries would be sort of melancholic, even if he hides it under a goofy, happy-go-lucky persona. That's why the mention of having a 'bruised heart' is there a few times.

what else can i say. would be interesting to write sth more on this, how their relationship builds, how sensitive the wings are when touched, if jere has any other angelic/magical abilities. yeah.

OKAY so. picking something to talk about was more difficult than i had anticipated, because turns out i have a lot of thoughts about a lot of stuff i've written, but then i can't choose which one to talk about by myself.

so starting with an easy one because it lives rent free in my head, still. Even tho i guess it's rather old news now.

The original Midsummer fic. Just all of it. I was so freaking nervous to post it bc i was pretty sure it wasn't that good and the idea was silly and looook at what happened. I still giggle and kick my feet very uncharacteristically whenever someone mentions the fic, and I always wanna yell about it because let's face it i'm quite proud of it and by now the story has so many subplots and sequels and spinoffs in my head that I just wanna get them out. But like i said, i also feel like the whole fic is lowkey old news by now so i just. don't. lmao.

As a special mention, i gotta say the hammock scene in chapter 3 was my favorite thing to write and i'm still really happy with how it turned out. I feel like it really showed the charasteristics of Bojan and Jere in this verse in the way i wanted them to be. so yea.

eye rolling. i can deal with a lot of stuff and different opinions and verbal disrespect and have long and rational conversations, but someone rolls their eyes at me and the risk of me high fiving their face with something heavy grows exponentially.

disrespect towards customer service workers. i don't care if you're in a rush(poor planning on your end doesn't constitute an emergency on theirs), i don't care if they got your order wrong(we're all human and errors happen), they're still providing a service to you so behave yourself. and i don't mean that you can't point out the mistake and ask them to correct it, just be respectful about it.

after a quick google search my name has a few meanings, but i think my parents picked it mostly bc it rhymes with my older sister's name.

PuppetMasterOnAString originates from the Metallica song(Master of puppets). and then i ran with that, messing around with the idea that i puppeteer the characters i write about, but at the same time they manipulate me in the sense that they're stuck in my head and i need to get the obsession out by writing about them, ya know?
