I hate art of the trinity that shows God the Father as a sant claus of a man with a big white beard and old hard eyes and printer paper white face. God the Father is THE Creator— He is the sky and the stars and the black holes and Jupiter’s spot. He is fungi spores and moss on a rock in the sun and lichen in icy tundras. He is canyons and redwood forests and mighty desert wonderlands and elephants and mice and wolves and cats and and and. so large and so small and so wonderful that He cannot be comprehended, let alone painted! enough with old faces and long beards and lily white skin. God is in His Creation. Show that to me instead!

another tiny!max papa!charles drabble

Max is feeling tinier than he ever has. His head feels fuzzy and warm, and his sentences keep getting jumbled and messed up because he’s at the point where Papa says “words are too big for such a small boy.” Max misses Papa terribly. He wants snuggles and story time. He misses Papa’s arms around him, the snuggly blankets, the soft plushies, and the little stories Papa reads to him. He feels hot tears well in his eyes. He wants Papa back so badly. He clutches tight onto his Nijntje plush, hiding his tears in her soft fur. Another gift from Papa.

Before Max had a caregiver, he didn’t have any soft things. He was always so alone, and sometimes he cried himself to sleep because he just wanted someone to hold him and love him. Now… whenever Max needs love, or attention, Papa’s just a call or a few steps away. Papa loves Max, says so over and over and doesn’t let Max forget it. Max loves the way Papa kisses his cheek and calls him “lionceau” and “mon petit ange.” Max loves Papa. He sniffles, trying to find a way to keep himself together until Papa comes back from shopping. He’s wrapped in a blanket, cuddling with his plushie and chewing gently on his thumb even though Papa tells him not to because it’s icky.

He glances at the little whiteboard on the fridge that reads: “Papa will be home in when the oven clock reads 13:45!” He glances at the oven clock and frowns. 13:40. He sits on the couch, staring daggers at the clock and kicking his feet to try and get some of his energy out. He watches the time tick by, babbling nonsense to Nijntje because she understands.

Finally, Max hears the telltale sign of the door unlocking. He bolts towards the door, so incredibly happy that Papa’s back. The door opens and Max nearly tackles him in a hug.

“Papa!!”

Charles lets out a noise of surprise, dropping his bags and wrapping him in a hug. “Hello, petit! What a nice welcome!” Max is practically jumping up and down, he’s so excited. His smile is huge, just like every time Papa comes home.

“Missed you, Papa!”

Charles presses kisses to his forehead, picking the bags up again and setting them on the kitchen table. Once they’re out of his hands, he picks Max up, setting him on his hip with a smile.

“I missed you, too, lionceau! You’re such a brave boy, why didn’t you text me and tell me you were tiny?”

Max shrugs, still clutching Nijntje tight. Max giggles when Papa presses another kiss to her forehead. He loves when Papa pretends his stuffies are people too. Papa smiles at his giggle, squeezing Max for a second.

“How tiny are you today, Maxie?” Papa asks gently, and Max thinks for a second before holding up one finger and curling the other. Papa looks confused, until Max clarifies.

“One an’ half, Papa.” Charles smiles and nods, hugging his baby even tighter.

“Wow, little one, you are truly teeny tiny today!” Max giggles again and nods at his Papa’s words. He clings to Papa’s shirt, the big red Ferrari hoodie that he loves to steal when he’s tiny because it smells like Papa.

Once the groceries are fully unpacked, Papa carries Max back to the nursery. Max goes happily into his bed, snuggling nice and warm into the blankets and pillows. Papa kisses both of his cheeks, making Max giggle. He holds out Nijntje, and Papa kisses her cheeks too. Those soft blankets are wrapped around his shoulders, and that fuzzy warm feeling makes him cling to Papa. Papa is safe.

Papa makes a bottle quickly and Max can feel his eyelids drooping. He babbles a bit just because he wants to, and Papa coos and pets his hair. Before Max falls asleep, he can feel the way Papa holds him close and he knows he’s always loved.

!! big people talk !!

one of the most important things to me when I make moodboards is NEVER using real children because it's just insane to me. They're not your kids. You didn't get their permission, and they have their own lives. It doesn't matter if someone else already posted them. Two wrongs don't make a right.

I'm in a sports fandom so RPF is a bit of an inevitable thing but if I haven't said it before, I want to make it clear that my moodboards and drabbles and art are not headcanons for any real person. I don't believe they're regressors in real life, I don't think any of them probably know what age regression is.

Headcanons for real people are weird. For anybody. Good rule of thumb: if you wouldn't be comfortable with a stranger doing it about/to you, don't do it about a stranger. At the end of the day, celebrities are strangers. It's best to treat them as such as much as possible.

i think someone has to say it that it's odd to make age regression headcanons about real people. celebrities are real people. you would not make headcanons about john down the street

Hi little friend!! I’ve got a very important reminder for you!

There was someone a long, long time ago who God sent down on the Earth for you. Yes, for you! Some people were very mean to Him, but He kept going because He knew that one day, you would be here, and He loves you so much. He died for you, sweetheart. He knew you centuries before you were born. He knew you, and He loved you. Now, He’s up in heaven with His Father, looking down at you, and He is so proud of you. Not for anything in particular, just because of the wonderful person you are. Every moment you’ve spent on this planet, good and bad, He’s been right there with you. You’re not alone, honey. You never have been, even at your darkest moment. He’s been with you, and He loves you beyond comprehension. He knew He’d die. He knew He’d be crucified, but He took each step for you. For His child, who He loves so much.

Even when you feel unlovable, when all the bad thoughts are weighing on you, know that someone loves you enough to call you His, and fight for you. He left the 99 for one little lamb. So chin up, put on your best brave face, look the mean thoughts in the eye, and say “I am a child of the King. I am loved. I am good. I am cherished. There is nothing I can do to make Him stop loving me. There is nothing you can do to make Him stop loving me.”

Know that He counted all the stars in the sky, every single one! And He still knows you by name. Knows every little part of you, and loves you for it. His love isn’t supposed to be scary, it’s not supposed to be something you have to work for. It is given freely. He will never abandon you, never give up on you. When you fall down, He’ll pick you up, make sure you don’t need a bandaid for those skinned knees, and keep walking with you. His angel, His child, His star. He’ll never give you more than you can handle. He’ll always listen to you, even when you’re all alone.

He loves you, sweetheart. Always.
