On this episode of "Purfy decides to play with fire via-filling out a tier list-"... aka, here's what I like to do most when I'm bored out of my mind 😭lmao. Thought it'd be fitting to start off with a tier list of Ancients/Beast-related ships 'cause I know they're among the most popular rn (template's from here if you wanna try it too!), sooo here we go~ 🍵🍵

Obv. keep in mind all these are just my own personal opinions, so pleeeease don't come at me if you disagree @ anything here, thank you- 🙏

Explanations below ('cause boi, do I love to yap- lmao):

Red Tier =

-Goddddd the world is SO in need of more PVanilla x DCacao, they're the cutest pair of Ancient hubbies oml 🥹💞With PVanilla's golden sweetheart nature & DCacao's stoic protectiveness, there's alot of wholesomeness to be had with how well they click/care for one another (ex. the letter scene). Just....aaaaaa~ 😭💛💜

Orange Tier =

-WHYYY is there not more love for HBerry x GCheese?? 😭Two kickass, beautiful queens always up for fun, adventure, and keeping their loved ones safe. Similar in many ways, while still different enough to keep things engaging, need I say more?~❤️🧡

-HBerry x DCacao is a ship that definitely snuck up on me here & there (esp in the Odyssey story bits I've caught thus far); the headstrong, cheery HBerry always trying to make the ol' flustered soldier smile is too cute for words lol~ 💕🤭

-PVanilla x GCheese is like?? SUCH a surprisingly cute ship idea yet I barely see much fanworks for it?? 😭💛Like c'mooon- two leaders of fallen kingdoms trying to rebuild what they lost, always striving to be the "lights" for their respective followers yet not immune to their own flaws (PVanilla's passivity + GCheese's pride), the potential of PVanilla being the cutest hype-hubby + GCheese lovingly keeping this doofus safe with her whole-being? Sign. Me. Up. 👏👏

-HBerry x WLily is another pair I'm surprised is so sleeped-on atm, esp given their kingdom overworld dialogue~ 🥺🩷 HBerry being shown to accepting back WLily no problem, knowing that she messed up BUT at the core, she's still a valued friend to HBerry & should keep her chin up high anyway, dawww~ x3

Light Orange Tier =

-Much like the previous pair, I feel WLily x DCacao is an underrated dynamic that could work as well! Both cookies carrying alot of inner-guilt (yet well-meaning at the core) in themselves, growing alot as individuals overtime, and with DCacao implied to also be open in forgiving WLily (according to their overworld dialogue), I think it'd give them great bonding potential imo. Plus the lil AUs I've seen of WL becoming a mom-figure to DChoco is pretty wholesome as well~ ^^💚

-DCacao x GCheese is another pair I don't always see around, but dang is the idea of the playful GCheese teasing a smile out of DCacao a cute one~ lol ;p Do I think it'd work realistically nowadays, given their different lifestyles/kingdom responsibilities? Prooobably not… but I could imagine them having a cute lil "fling" in the past (during their younger traveling days with the other Ancients), hehe~😉

-PVanilla x HBerry is a pair I've only seen sparingly in passing, but that scene of HB crushing PVanilla in hugs in their Odyssey reunion was too dang cute~ lol :3 Also love how their overworld dialogue implied HBerry keeps a close eye to make sure PVanilla eats/takes care of himself, very very wholesome~ 😊🩷

-Ooooooh WLily x GCheese... the potential for angsty yuri is quite strong here ngl 🥺 While yes, GCheese has every right to not trust WLily, given how much she suffered losing her kingdom... its clear deep down GCheese doesn't truly hate her, if she feels this strongly/conflicted as she does? Plus GCheese IS known to ultimately be a forgiving soul when it all comes down to it (aka: how she handled Smoked Cheese's betrayal in Crispia + let him help her in Beast Yeast), so I think... given enough time, and WLily easing her way back into the Ancients' circle... perhaps there could be a chance for these ladies to reconnect, maybe? 🙏💚

-BSpice x MFlour is prob my favorite BeastxBeast ship atm; while they may be pretty contrasting personality-wise, the fact that they do share similar ideals (wanting to turn all to flour + wanting everything destroyed), both being among the least-explored of the Beast cookies (fandom + lowkey-canon wise), and just their overall vibe of being an "unhinged menace & graceful menace" duo spells for some fun ship potential, imo~ 👀❤️

Yellow Tier =

-PVanilla x WLily is definitely among the more "classic" CRK pairs from what I've seen, and I can see why! :) Good ol' childhood friends who went through alot (even back in their school days) to become heroes, separated by dire circumstances (aka: Dark Enchantress) as they grew up, but then finally reuniting in Beast Yeast (+still wishing eachother well when they had to separate) was quite a compelling journey to watch with 'em imo~ 🥺 Admittedly, I think I've grown to appreciate them a biiiit more in a friendship-sense lately (at least for my own HCs w/ other ships I have), but they're still a sweet duo when it all comes down to it~ ^^

-SMilk x SSalt is an interesting pair I've seen floating around more lately; esp with the HCs people made of them being like the "PVanilla & WLily" of the Beast Cookies (pre-corruption wise). Granted, we don't know a whole lot about SSalt yet for me to rank it-fully (so this may change later with his future release update); but I think here's a good spot to place 'em for now! 👍

-MFlour x ESugar has some fun potential for bonding imo, esp with them being the only girl Beasts + their cute battle quotes lol ;p

-SMilk x BSpice was the first BeastxBeast ship I was exposed to in this fandom, and I'll admit to still finding some of the fanworks for 'em funny & cute lol (plus I mean... SMilk did call him "hot stuff" in one of their battle quotes, sooooo- lol 🤭)

Light Green Tier =

-The Ancients x Their Beast Counterparts all seem to be among the more "popular" combos of their respective groups... in more ways than one lol. And as a whole, I can definitely get the popularity; given their whole setup as having each pair tied to the same Soul Jams (even if split apart/formed to different Virtues), fated to clash & fight while also helping in the Ancient heroes discovering their true power (aka: their Awakened forms). A story rife for some great development on both hero AND villain-ends, if you ask me 👀🍿 Now, all that said, do I ship the Ancients & Beasts together? ...Weeeeell, it kinda depends on my mood some days ngl 😅. Often times I just see them working as enemies, other days I'll admit to finding the shipping fanwork cute, then I'll be conflicted, then imagining some fun HCs of them eventually redeeming into friends, then back to enjoying the fanworks again, rinse & repeat.... you get the drift lmao Soooo, with all that said, my own individual ranks for each "canon" Ancient/Beast duo goes like so: 1) HBerry & ESugar (I first played the game around the time of their featured Beast Yeast update(s), sooo I've got a lil soft spot for their dynamic & characters as a whole ngl👉👈) 2) GCheese & BSpice (GCheese is my fave Ancient & her story arcs have been my faves to rewatch, so her & BSpice's dynamic (even if most of it is just fighting/GCheese not taking his crap lol) had grown on me alot more than expected ngl; fingers crossed for a killer duo-costume set for 'em in the future! 🤞🤞) 3) DCacao & Mystic Flour (surprisingly similar in alot of ways & rather emotional in their individual backgrounds, I feel like there's some unique potential (esp thanks to their costume gacha AU) for them to connect somehow ngl) 4) PVanilla & SMilk (Definitely seems to be the canon + fandom's faves, and I can see why from how emotionally driven & personal their Beast Yeast arc's been; tho ngl, part of me does feel a teensy bit put off by the fan-hype at times (tho that might be the rarepair-enjoyer in me talking lol), esp when it lowkey-cuts into the other Ancient/Beast focus... buuuut even still, kudos to those who can genuinely explore them well regardless, no matter the relationship angle!👍) 5) WLily & SSalt (Only the last by default since... well, SSalt's not here yet so there's not much to go off of, dynamic-wise lol 😅 Miiight end up changing my mind in the future tho, depending on their release chapters 👀🍵)

Green Tier =

-SMilk x ESugar I feel is a pair I proooobably shouldn't like... both in a canon & fandom-sense lol. But I mean?? I can't be the only one getting major "petty/bitter exes" vibes from their interactions in the garden... right? lmao Especially with SMilk's implied-saltiness towards ESugar's "lovey-dovey" state w/ HBerry... it kiiiinda makes me wonder if these two might've been a "thing" in their pre-corruption days, but through one circumstance or another (such as SMilk's "tricks" in ESugar's garden), things fell apart as they hit their villain-arcs? Idk, just a vibe I'm feeling there >3>

-GCheese x ESugar is like... weirdly interesting me alot, lately? Not so much in a "ship"-sense... but moreso I'm just oddly curious how both ladies would interact if they ever met 🤔 (esp with them being my fave Ancient & Beast Cookie, respectively). Both being winged-goddess figures to their respective realms, knowing what its like to want to keep their followers close (albeit to different levels) no matter what, and with GCheese having broken that mindset to move forward as a hero... perhaps she could offer a helping hand if ESugar (+the other Beasts) got a chance at redemption? Maybe? .3.

Cyan Tier =

-PVanilla x SMilk x WLily is an idea that I... can somewhat see the sentiment behind, given the latter two's importance in PVanilla's story atm. But in terms of imagining it actually working longtime... hmmmm, I'm not really sure? .w.;; Esp on WLily's end which I'll get to in a sec...

-All of the Ancients x All of the Beasts together in one big poly-pile... an amusing idea in-theory, buuut idk my brain's doing a mush trying to imagine the logistics ngl ghlklj- 😭

Light Blue Tier =

-DCacao x BSpice is a ship I'm surprised has grown fairly popular lately... but like, I don't rly get it tbh? .x. Outside of them being big buff dudes, I feel like they'd both find the other too exhausting in their own ways ngl (DCacao being too "stiff" + BSpice being... well, "alot" lol). But that's just me-

-Sorry, but as much as I've tried... Iiiii just don't really see the SMilk x WLily ship working, in the grand scheme of things? 🤷‍♀️ From SMilk causing so much mayhem in the Faerie Kingdom (leading to Elder Faerie's death), to how much he toyed with/broke PVanilla's mind... I feel like WLily would just have too much resentment on her end to fully-trust him, even if SMilk does redeem himself down the line (think that one scene from ATLA if you know what I mean-).

-I mentioned already before in a previous post... buuuut yeah, can't say I get how PVanilla x BSpice came to be, still? .w.;; No hate to any shippers ofc (as with the previous ships mentioned), I just... can't really picture BSpice tolerating much of PVanilla's "softness" for long (nor vice-versa for PVanilla handling BSpice's violent nature, no matter how forgiving he may be... 😓😔).

Blue Tier =

-All The Ancients as a whole I will always love their overall friendship for one another; regardless of ship preferences, the bond between these five needs to be protected, forever & always 🥺👏

-Same goes for the Beasts as a whole ngl; even if we still don't know much about SSalt (& the Beasts overall not really getting along, present day-wise), I like to think at the core there's still some flickering of friendship there... all the way back from their pre-corrupted days 🙏🙏
