If you haven't already you should look into death with dignity. It allows people to die on their own terms. It isn't currently legal in every state but there are a number of states where it is and a number that are considering it. There is a map on there site showing the status of the different states.

I don't know if it's a positive thing or a negative thing that I have completely lost my will and ability to herd casual conversations towards more positive and constructive subjects. Sometimes, I think the people who say they are going to like walking dead and last of us that shit are just kidding themselves. My personal plan is probably to just live life as normal for as long as I can and if I die I die. Maybe if people around me are organizing a like survivor outpost or something I will go along but 🤷🏼‍♀️

I'm not gonna pretend that if a zombie apocalypse happens I'll be super competent and fight tooth and nail for my live. Act like a main character in a video game or something. I am chronically ill already, I'm not magically going to be able to do more in a zombie apocalypse and I'm not going to try either.

Knowing you and your limits isn't morbid. It's just realistic.

I feel like that could still be a curse though. Maybe the curse is that a piece of the sea was put in her/ger family line and the sea needs her to die to get it back. You know? Like the sea needs her to die but it's still because of something her family did resulting In a curse?

Obviously Van’s curse is that she’s gonna die at sea BUT her prosthetic seemingly ACTIVELY trying to DRAG her into the ocean forcibly is really interesting. Soooooooooooo??? It’s an odd curse for someone from a seafaring family, atleast in the way that it’s actively trying to kill her and maybe it’s just a rule that Chapman’s die at sea, so it might just be a supernatural payback? Because Van abandoned the sea for the sky, thus the ocean like an eldritch god shall it be payed what it’s owed and take her, even, by force.

i adore the image of this legendary outlaw who from the exterior appears as pure, stone-cold badass who actually is a huge dork with the oldest mans best friend youve ever seen. i think that its possible comfrey fell in love with a mask.

i think daisuke met this radiant, beautiful woman, who invited him into a new world, offered him solace from the persona he'd been performing his whole life, simply by being herself. but maybe daisuke getting comfortable wasnt entirely what comfrey wanted?
