The February 2020 Issue of Nakayoshi Magazine is now available! It contains the second chapter of Tokyo Mew Mew Au Lait and the first chapter and debut of Tokyo Mew Mew 2020 Re-Turn.

You can purchase your own copy at CD Japan. Tokyo Otaku Mode also appears to carry Nakayoshi magazine, however February’s issue was not available at the time of posting.

Which is better, Tokyo Mew Mew or Mew Mew Power?

both have their pros and cons. at the speed at which they talk, in Tokyo Mew Mew, i had to keep pausing and check what they had said. Mew Mew Power was better in that respect but it does not have all the episodes. I personaly prefered Mew Mew Power but if you want to watch the whole thing its better to watch Tokyo Mew Mew

Why do you like kisshu? I think his outfit and his ears are very ugly. But Ichigo is nice, very nice I like her and Zakuro very much. :) Purin and Taru-Taru are very cute. :D

hmm, its hard to pin down. its probably that his situation made my heart hurt. you cant help falling for someone but falling for the wrong person just happens sometimes. whether it was two people falling in love from opposite ends of a war or falling for someone who doesn’t love you. which in kisshu’s case was both. as to do with his outfit, i just want to hitch up those shorts and give the guy a belt. other than that i think it really shows him to be the young and cheaky type. i am a great believer that characters are designed to portray how there personality is. as for his ears, i don’t know why they did that when they made the anime. read the manga, his ears are small and cute - like an elf. i think ichigo is very nice. i believe its her heart that makes her a good character. Zakuro really grew on me throughout the series. i think she showed how dependable she could be as you found out more about her character. oh and pudding and taru-taru. they were just made for each other. but going back to kisshu. i think that i tend to like that type of character. the sort of misunderstood bad boy. or more to the point, characters that have been through pain play on my heart strings. so do you have any interesting parings or u strictly cannon on this one?

I don't dislike the 4Kids dub of Tokyo Mew Mew, but I'm glad it got cancelled. They already jumbled the story up quite a bit to make it kid-friendly, so imagine how much they would've had to butcher up later scenes that DEFINITELY weren't for kids. Plus, 4Kids made Quiche/Dren's attraction to Ichigo/Zoey much less obsessive in their dub, so Quiche/Dren losing his mind in episode 45 would've come out of nowhere to viewers who never watched the original.

I can imagine quite a few episodes would have been changed. Especially episodes 42, 43 and 51.

And now I can’t stop imagining Quiche going nuts with Andrew Rannells’ voice XDD.
