literally in the first book grover was constantly stressed out about being responsible, and like sure annabeth was too but the SECOND percy is doing/coming up with dumb shit annabeth is like "ok, fine, but here's how we do it right."

I sleep very well knowing that even after Hercules ruined her life, Zoë still had a relatively good life as Artemis' lieutenant and she found peace after dying, and became a constellation, while Hercules had a shitty life and when he died, he got turned into a bitter minor god who hated both his job and his eternal life. Call that karma or some shit.
