i always kinda thought maybe clarisse knew it was percy’s birthday and was planning on being a menace but when they pulled up annabeth was already there then the kiss happened and everyone was like “holy SHITTTTT”

like maybe the plan was to dunk percy in the water but they couldn’t find annabeth so they showed up late just to witness the kiss some kids probably cried a little but clarisse was like “sick now i can dunk BOTH of them” so that’s what they did

to me i always loved that clarisse was the one to be the head of that bc throwing them into the water to celebrate wasn’t for her - personally i don’t think clarisse could give two real shits abt percabeth actually dating or not (not that she doesn’t think they should- it’s just not her buisness) but yk who did ?? selina

I have a dark Percabeth headcannon that Percy gets like cabin fever if he’s away from the ocean too long (bc the sea doesn’t like to be restrained), and when they’re older and married they have to move to a landlocked state for Annabeth’s job, and Percy goes scarily insane and just isn’t himself, they start fighting every night. This goes on for about 6 months and it gets so bad to the point of them almost getting divorced, but then they go and stay in NY for a week and suddenly Percy is calm and happy again, and Annabeth figures out what’s wrong with him and doesn’t hesitate to quit her job and move back to NYC with him so that he can feel better.

while we're on the topic of talking about changes the pjo show made that i love, im glad they didn't push the whole Annabeth saying she and Percy *have* to be enemies because athena and Poseidon have beef. Instead she's just this cryptid autistic strategist 12 yr old who stalks Percy and pushes him into the water. She's like "hmm this white boy will perfectly serve my purpose and schemes" and she's so real for that

I've always wondered why the Romans think demigods all of a sudden started getting claimed? They couldn't know about Percy's deal with Olympus, so what do they think happened?

The gods were probably like "as a reward for fighting in the war we will now claim you all!"

What if, the image that Percy sees in the mirror, the “cooler” version of himself, is like book accurate Percy. I just think that would be such a funny, messed up little Easter egg.

Obsessed with how Annabeth isn't spacial, she isn't a chosen one, she has no demigod magic powers, she is for all intents and purposes, a fairly normal girl.

But she poured her blood, sweat and tears into becoming the best warrior she could be. She trained hard for years because she knew she had disadvantages and she didn't want to be seen as weak.

She's literally known in Camp and by monsters like Alecto as the most powerful demigod alive and she doesn't have powers. It's almost as of girls don't need to be magical to be a hero!

ppl mad at percy for the “thought we could never be friends” line but from his perspective it’s actually so valid 😭 like annabeth’s been on his ass since he got at camp. “you drool when you sleep” was the first thing she said to him and then she straight up used him in capture the flag and pushed him into the water with no warning. this little guy has been burnt over and over from his school experiences and is clearly so wary of putting his faith and trust in people. besides, i think he also hadn’t realised that annabeth and him could actually relate to each other and get along well. this is just the beginning you guys. and tbh, the fact that percy and annabeth are so at odds with each other in the start is what makes their eventual falling for each other so poignant.

What did y’all name Percy and Annabeth’s kids in your head?

I headcannon that they name their first daughter, a baby girl, “Olympia” or “Oly” for short. I think she was born on Olympus because there are no medical fees there (What is America?), and so that Poseidon and Athena could definitely make it for the birth. Also, the series is called “Percy Jackson and the Olympians” and “Heroes of Olympus” and so I think it would be a nice way to reference that.

I also hc that she has one grey eye and one green eye, and curly black hair that she dies the tips of blonde. She is both rlly smart and has water powers, so she wants to be a Marine Biologist. Her birth was what finally ended the feud between Poseidon and Athena. She was definitely homeschooled, and came to camp at an early age, where she was allowed both in the Athena and Poseidon cabin.

Less sure about their second child, but they probably had at least two. I had a hc that he was taken by monsters as a baby, which put a rift in their family. Percy and Annabeth, grief-stricken, took a step down from the demigod life after that, but Olympia never gave up hope that he was alive, and swore she was gonna find him one day.

I should probably write a whole fic of this, so lmk if you’d like to see that.
