I was reading Tower Of Nero and I got to the chapter where Apollo basically confirms that Jason is dead to Nico, and I finished the chapter and Will said "Nico only slips into Italian when hes really upset" and how come everyone in this fandom just glosses over the fact that Nico speaks Italian when hes upset???? Like what????? I can't stop thinking about this???? Helppppp 😭

I've always wondered why the Romans think demigods all of a sudden started getting claimed? They couldn't know about Percy's deal with Olympus, so what do they think happened?

The gods were probably like "as a reward for fighting in the war we will now claim you all!"

The Romans were probably pretty proud of that.

Then like a year later this conversation happens:

Annabeth: and then after Percy made the gods promise to claim all their children-

Jason: THAT WAS YOU?!

Percy: yeah. Why did you think the god suddenly started claiming everybody?

the way that luke tried so hard to get percy to join him in comparison to him plotting percy’s death via scorpion in the books is tbh so so good for story building. percy doesn’t understand luke’s motivations this early in the story so seeing luke beg percy and try to get him to understand is just so painful and makes the betrayal hit so much harder

Really shows how fandoms are welcome to change, as long as it's GOOD change, considering how different the amusement park scene was in the show vs the books. It's nowhere close to the book scene but we are all FOAMING at the mouth over it. It's not change that makes a movie adaptation bad, it's the way you handle it and the way you show complex character arcs that can't be shown on a screen the way it can be on a page

Obsessed with how Annabeth isn't spacial, she isn't a chosen one, she has no demigod magic powers, she is for all intents and purposes, a fairly normal girl.

But she poured her blood, sweat and tears into becoming the best warrior she could be. She trained hard for years because she knew she had disadvantages and she didn't want to be seen as weak.

She's literally known in Camp and by monsters like Alecto as the most powerful demigod alive and she doesn't have powers. It's almost as of girls don't need to be magical to be a hero!

Percy’s “I don’t think she’s like that” and Annabeth’s “He isn’t that way” are groundbreaking. Here are these two kids in the middle of this twisted situation of the gods just trying to survive and figure each other out yet they are willing to see the good in each other and know that they are better than the gods because of that kindness and optimism

I finished the tyrants tomb and now I'm on Tower of Nero and I was happy because yay I finally got to the book with Nico and Will and then I remembered that I have to read Apollo tell Nico that Jason died, I died inside (Just like Jason did) 😭

This has completely taken over my brain!

Almost everything is the same as it was in the show with some minor changes made by moi.

Obvi, Percy Jackson is Luke and Annabeth Chase is Julie. I struggled with which PJO characters would best fit Alex and Reggie before I finally settled on Will Solace and Leo Valdez, respectively. I was super tempted to have Will be Willie, but I decided Nico would be the better choice for Willie. Kronos is Caleb, cause of course. Thus, I made Luke Castellan Nick. As much as I do not like Lukabeth, he fits the best (especially after the season 1 finale). Drew Tanaka as Carrie, Lacy as Kayla, and Chiron as Mrs. Harrington. I struggled a lot with who I wanted Bobby to be, but in the end I chose Chris Rodriguez (don’t think too hard about him being Drew’s dad, it’s an AU).

I split Carlos into Bobby and Matthew and kinda replaced Aunt Victoria with Helen. In this AU, she is still Annabeth’s stepmom, but she’s not an evil stepmother, y’know? I’m thinking she and Fredrick both recently lost their spouses and decided to move in together out of convenience. Matthew and Bobby are Annabeth’s stepbrothers.

I have so many ideas for this AU and not enough time to draw them (I will as soon as school is over). I even found a way to make Unsaid Emily even MORE heartbreaking!
