I’m not exactly active here at present, but reblogging this here would be the way for me to pass it on to as many people as possible. Keep fighting.

As of July 4th 2018, the Internet as we know it might be dead for good. 

The European Parliament is passing a new Copyright Directive.  Article 13 #CensorshipMachine will impose widespread censorship of all the content we share online. Art, fanfiction, parodies, remixes, mashups, memes, etc.. Anything that you do not hold the rights over will be taken down. 

Article 13 would force all online platforms to police and prevent the uploading of copyrighted content, or make people seek the correct licenses to post that content. Internet platforms hosting large amounts of user-uploaded content must monitor user behaviour and filter their contributions to identify and prevent copyright infringement. 

Such filters will be mandatory for platforms including YouTube, Facebook, Tumblr, Reddit and Instagram, but also much smaller websites.

This doesn’t just affect Europe. The content creators you love are going to be in hot water for sharing their art and writing with you online. Any and all content that doesn’t belong to us will be filtered. Even memes are at risk, as the person who took the original photo may want to file complaints against any platform that allows it to be used without permission. But it goes even further than that.

Last Tuesday (19th June 2018) a group of more than 70 people who have played important roles in building the internet and developing it (Tim Berners-Lee, Vincent Cerf, Jimmy Wales, Mitchell Baker…) into what it is today addressed an open letter to the members of the European Parliament:

“As creators ourselves, we share the concern that there should be a fair distribution of revenues from the online use of copyright works, that benefits creators, publishers, and platforms alike.

But Article 13 is not the right way to achieve this. By requiring Internet platforms to perform automatic filtering all of the content that their users upload, Article 13 takes an unprecedented step towards the transformation of the Internet from an open platform for sharing and innovation, into a tool for the automated surveillance and control of its users. […] The damage that this may do to the free and open Internet as we know it is hard to predict, but in our opinions could be substantial.”

Considering a heavy rebrand because my focus has primarily drifted to RP and Hypnosis with close friends primarily through discord, while my use of tumblr is largely relegated to memes. I’ve been using RP accounts to like/favorite posts which could lead to a lot of confusion, but largely just reblogging things to sideblogs and not really interacting all that heavily with the main/face blogs that i have.

I’ve also grown a lot in terms of writing and there’s something cathartic feeling about wiping a slate clean of work that you find not quite up to par.

Shining scowled, biting his lip. This was a trick of some sort. What did she expect to happen? Shining had nothing but negative emotions for Chrysalis, didn't he? But why, then, was he still walking towards her?

Chrysalis smirked, then prodded Shining’s scowl. “What’s swirling around in that clouded head of yours?~” Her eyes glowed a brighter green, aura spiking softly as she utilized her allure. “Or is it just still searching for clarity, whereeevver it can find it?”

"Emotions?" Shining asked, confused. "What... emotions?" Without realizing it, he began to approach Chrysalis. His heart was pounding in his chest.

“All of them. The good, the bad, and the ugly.” Chrysalis looked up at the prince, amusement in her gaze while twirling three stones with barely a hint of magic signature.

Shining raised a hoof to his chest, a look of fear on his face. "What... what did you just do?" Shining asked.

“Do you walk through spiderwebs, Shiny?” A slight bit of a jeer. “Do you step on the spiders that live there?” Chrysalis lays on the ground, a hoof holding up her chin. “If not, you should have no problem dealing with such a tiny bug.” The itching sensation moves around a moment, to that hard to reach portion of back, before stopping there, remaining dormant, slooowly fading away. Although, if it were to be endangered.. “It’s bite exemplifies emotion. Sort of a symbiotic relationship with us.. and mostly harmless in pony populations.”

Shining blinked, stunned. He found himself more than a bit confused by Chrysalis's behavior. "Distraction?" He repeated. "What?"

"I’ll just say.. don’t be too surprised if it feels like the love bug bites.” A slight itch in Shining’s fur, there one moment and gone the next. Probably not at all linked to the fact that Chrysalis just ran her hoof all over the Prince’s chest, right?

Shining shuddered as Chrysalis ran her hoof up to her chin. He grimaced a bit as she stared into her eyes. Was she seriously hitting on him? "I... don't... what?"

Chrysalis narrowed her eyes, and softly slapped Shining on one cheek. “Devious as always~” The first actual hint of a flirting tone, before twirling around once more. “One must always stay attached to the finer aspects of training. I must say, I still make one hell of a distraction.” Two eyes glimpsed from the shade provided by the closest tree, the queen’s cat-eye of green, as she stood her ground there.

Shining frowned. "Okay. Gross. Thanks for that image. Lucky I can't remember our time together."

“Awwww.” Chrysalis runs a hoof(?) along Shining’s chest and up under his chin, making innocuous eye contact and sporting a rich smile. “How unfortunate. I’m certain some alone time could very easily be spent rekindling those memories. The brain doesn’t exactly just delete information, after all, simply hides it- often in such ways we would prefer for it to.”

"You're pretty clearly a bug, Chrysalis. I'd know better than most."

"Hey, it’s not my fault. Your rectum was available and eggs were trending.” A much more feathered wing than before glides from Chrysalis’ side, baring itself as if for a charge, before flexing back in on the Queen’s body and resuming its chitinous-aqua appearance. “That is, unless you were looking for a different kind of demonstration.”

Something resembling a squee escapes from a happy queenface, before its smooching of Frau’s cheek. “Thank you, my dear~”

2. Are they sexually active?

Not always, but sometimes overly so. There’s only so much to be done without completely draining somebody, after all. Depends on the satisfaction that can be derived of the situation, but when she hits it off with someone or- for that matter- something.. there’s some shared enthusiasm, for obvious enough reasons.
