Into the brass instruments, french horn is a disaster twink. Trombone is unlabeled but does love poppers. The tuba! A queer anarchist. Awww it's the euphonium. Trans baby, love them.

Controversial, but the trumpet is homophobic. I'm sorry I don't make the rules. Into woodwind now, I've spoken about the flute before on my tiktok page. The flute plays center in netball.

She's a high femme bisexual. She's nervous around girls. The piccolo. Hmm... pansexual, thirty minutes late to the orgy. Alto saxophone is an oblivious but polite straight man, but the tenor saxophone is a chaos bisexual.

Yes I did play a tenor saxophone, I don't, I don't need this from you. (pause) The clarinet's a terf. Who fucking knows what's going on with the bassoon. All I know is that that is a horny fucking instrument.

The oboe is pansexual, genderfluid, polyamorous, kinky, radical, sex worker, and yet, somehow has the worse politics you have ever encountered. Percussion time! The timpani is a wonderful flamboyant bear.

The xylophone is straight but a swinger and talks about it all the fucking time. The triangle is nonbinary, may also be on a tab right now. The cymbals are a straight man that's really into cunnilingus.]

Identity is something so personal and important. The journey of questioning, the discovery that other people feel this too, the joy of finding community and connection with other people like us.

There is such a large diversity of experiences when it comes to gender, sex, sexuality, romantic attraction, relationship orientations and variations. I love all of the terms, all of the words, all of the pride flags, all of the communities, all of the pronouns.

A special type of queer joy is being happy and supportive and thrilled when other queer people find the words to describe their own experiences, or when someone creates a new word to give voice to their identity, when someone finds the name or pronouns that bring them comfort and happiness.

I love everyone who feels like their identities are too complicated, too complex, too obscure, too much.

You are not too complicated, your complexity is beautiful, you are only too much for those who cannot see your magic.

Though the jokes that "since gay pride month is over, july is now gay wrath month" are funny and all, it's important to remember that July is ACTUALLY Disability Pride Month and y'all should really be focused on boosting disabled voices and issues this month! For instance, the fact that marriage equality doesn't actually truly exist in the United States for disabled people, or the fact that disabled people are forced to live in poverty or lose their disability benefits, or the fact that 1 in 5 people with chronic pain end up sufferring from alcoholism or other addictions, or how accessibility is still a daily battle for all of us, or how there are active hate groups on places like reddit who try to "call out" those they see as "faking" their disabilities.

This July, boost disabled voices. Talk about the issues that our community faces. Call out ableism.
