the gateway experience: kami's notes 1
many people in the shifting community are already familiar with these declassified meditation exercises.
nevertheless, i've only begun exploring them myself, and i want to document my journey here.
for anyone new to the tapes:
the gateway experience is a training program designed to help individuals explore expanded states of consciousness through guided meditation and sound frequencies (hemi-sync). it utilizes a series of exercises aimed at enhancing focus, coherence, and brainwave output to facilitate shifts in awareness.
the program is structured into waves, with each wave building upon the previous one, guiding users through various states of consciousness.

i'm doing this because i've always been into spiritual development. and i'm a very curious person. and i've found that this program kinda helps me stay sane these days.
oh and, i think it might aid me in my shifting experience as well.
below the page break are listed all the tapes, because i love a neat coherent list!! and then below that are my notes on the first recording (the orientation).

now let's get into my experience with the very first tape.
GATE 1: DISCOVERY, orientation
this recording introduces hemi synch, resonant tuning and focus 3. supposedly, by the end of the exercise you are meant to wake up to enhanced senses and improved overall sense of wellbeing.
i did this several times to truly digest it. maybe five times in total.
first few times couldn't stay awake. then, even when i managed to remain conscious throughout the exercise, i would always feel dehydrated after it. you know that feeling when you sleep for like 12 hours and you wake up feeling horrible because you just slept way too much? that's the feeling.
the first time i listened to this i also experienced increased heart rate, but after that first time—never again.
i don't feel like my senses improved any. but i do think my nervous system might just be adjusting to the new states of awareness.
when i did the exercise most recently, my body kept twitching. i had random images popping up in my mind, and my body acted upon them (e.g.: for some reason i had a mental image of me lifting up my foot to reach out and take an autumn leaf off the sole of my boot. as i lifted my foot in my mind, my physical foot twitched. very random).
my body felt heavy and relaxed for sure, and i didn't mean to move my limbs at all. but i suppose my body wanted to move together with my mind as if by instinct.
my experience might be very unique—i didn't see anyone mention the symptoms i listed here. if you've tried this meditation as well, please share what you went through!

in this post i reflect on tapes 2 & 3 of the discovery gate.
intro focus 10: mind awake/body asleep
advanced focus 10: expand perception, learn greater control of personal energy
GATE 1: DISCOVERY, intro focus 10
establish the state of mind awake/body asleep
during one of my attempts, i tried doing this meditation sitting up as to not fall asleep, but still found myself nodding off—i would just be snapped back to wakefulness upon feeling my head fall to the side. ultimately, i think it's best to do these exercises lying down.
after all, the objective is to have your body asleep while the mind stays awake. and my body simply will not sleep with my head upright.
i experienced accelerated heartbeat again (during the sitting up attempt). strong feeling of thirst as per usual.
in this recording, we go through resonant tuning and focus 3. then it introduces focus 10, through which the body is guided to a state of deep sleep.
my body felt heavy and warm, but didn't sleep. however, i'm happy i managed to finally go through the entire recording with my mind completely lucid.
there's a few extra bits of information that the narrator provides. little exercises.
tap the back of your neck (repeat, 'one') and you'll become alert and focused.
tap between your eyebrows and you'll be able to recall anything you've forgotten.
i'm still exploring these little tidbits. apparently the more you do them, the faster they work. can't expand much on that yet.
GATE 1: DISCOVERY, advanced focus 10
expand perception and learn greater control of personal energy
(potentially important to note that it's been at least a week, maybe two, between my last attempt and me writing the below text—struggled with finding time and mental willingness to do this.)
(since it's been a while, i don't recall if i've done advanced focus 10 once, twice, thrice. but whatever the number is, i'm fairly certain that this attempt was the most 'successful'.)
this attempt probably got me into the deepest state of relaxation. still, i wouldn't go as far as to say that my body was asleep.
if my mind isn't fooling me, this recording guides the mind to the state of focus 10, then back from it, and then back into it again.
i experienced some body twitches, but way less than i had with my other attempts with earlier tapes—like five instances of twitching at most. i lost awareness somewhere between entering focus 10 and coming back from it. but after that, my mind was fully awake.
this is definitely a good meditation for restful relaxation, but there's not much else i'm getting from it. although, the more you do it, the more it will be beneficial is what i deducted...
oh and! almost forgot. in this recording i was also guided through a visualisation of personal energy flow. this is the part that gets me quite excited—improving my ability to control my energy body. (an accurate visual for this is the picture i added to my first gateway experience post. fun coincidence.)
i will keep at it (and try to do this more often), and see where the following tapes take me. this so far still sort of feels like introduction.
