Title: Hot Stuff . Mako: Is it just me, or is it really warm these days? And whilst I'm in the middle of a complaint, can someone turn this fan on for me please? . ******* . Looking out across the city, Mako the Great Conqueror sought for a reprieve from the heat. The planets' multiple suns did nothing but add to the heat of the day. He plodded between the cities, trudging his weary self across the open plains, and spied the windmills scattered around the various cities. . Some of these were creaking with age. The blades wobbly and threatening to fall off at the slightest nudge. Some however, looked serviceable enough to provide a slight breeze when the blades turned. Deciding to take his chances, the made his way to the nearest windmill he could see, and lay down in front of it. He was soon fast asleep. Tired, from the heat that sapped at his strength. . As his luck would have it, a giant came creeping silently up on him. Standing tall above the Great Cat, the giant reached down towards him. Unaware of the danger he was in, Mako continued to slumber on, feeling the weariness in his bones. . Suddenly, a loud click resounded! Mako the Great Conqueror jumped in fright, standing on his toes with his tail upright. He cursed inwardly at his carelessness. At allowing someone to sneak up on him when he was most vulnerable. . Then the giant turned towards Mako and said, "Relax Mako.
