Marauders or Hogwarts legacy era fics with good disability representation?? Doesn’t have to be Remus or just Ominius !!! Love most ships but I am very new to marauders so I have no fics.

"what did students do before chatgpt?" well one time i forgot i had a history essay due at my 10am class the morning of so over the course of my 30 minute bus ride to school i awkwardly used by backpack as a desk, sped wrote the essay, and got an A on it.

six months later i re-read the essay prior to the final exam, went 'ohhhh yeah i remember this', got a question on that topic, and aced it.

point being that actually doing the work is how you learn the material and internalize it. ChatGPT can give you a short cut but it won't build you the the muscles.

Wip fic update!

The seb/ominius/disabled!mmc fic has a name! (For now) it’s ✨Requiem ✨ sparkles not included

We are officially about half way (unless I yap more) through writing the first chapter of the fic! I will be loosely abiding by the cannon storyline. Also doing my best to be at least kinda halfway period accurate but … They are wizards I can tweak things okay (/j)

I have mayyy fallen victim to main character syndrome and a few tropes you find in most hgw legacy fics but only with the mmc I swear!!

As a sneak peek I shall introduce you to (Mr.every12yldsfirstocmaincharacter/j)

Modern diagnosis would be: Pots, lupus , and Arthritis.

These three are known as common comorbidities and I will do my upmost best to portray them accurately

((Sidebar: I do have pots so I will be portraying my experience with it and my mysterious autoimmune disease. I have heavily researched lupus and arthritis and am free to take criticism once the fic is posted))

Here’s a picrew I did that roughly portrays him at the beginning of our story! It is important to me that he actually grows as the story progresses and this includes actually getting scars and such from the hell he will be put through!

people who don't experience hyperfixation don't know what it feels like to hyperfixate so much on something that it becomes not only your subject of obsession but also your source of happiness and literally the main reason why you still keep going; literal source of strength and life.

Let them read how much their writing effected you!!! I was absolutely horrid about not leaving comments even when the fic rewired my brain (I getting better I swear). But getting to speak with the authors and letting them know you love their writing is fufilling for both sides!!! DEW IT!

One of the coolest parts about being a fan of fanfic is you can actually contact the author. And they will respond. And then you can message them nonstop until they allow you into their lives and then you’re becoming their beta reader and suddenly you know multiple authors of all types of fiction books and fanfic authors who will drag out their deleted fics for you to read at a moments notice.

Anyway. Comment on fics and message authors. It’s absolutely worth it.

My fellow Hogwarts legacy enthusiasts and fic readers. I’ve been brewing up some fig ideas as I want to start writing again.

How would we feel about disabled!mmc x ominis and seb?

As a disabled person myself I love writing disabled characters I think it would be fun to find a way for them to navigate in a magical environment! If I did it would be a mobility issue as that’s what I’m familiar with. The true views and medical understanding of the time would have to be slightly bent so mmc wouldn’t just be slapped with the label hysteria and sent off but we love a little tweaking!

Just a bit of a word vomit post to get ideas out (and opinions if you so choose to leave one they are appreciated)
