@eveyrthingenthusiast remember that Gatsby fic you bet I wouldn’t write and then had to pay me 20 for because I actually posted it onto Ao3, but then I had to remove it because a sad bugger here on tumblr thought it (the crack fic oh so clearly labelled a crack fic) was “inaccurate” and posted about it since they lacked joy and whimsy?

Younger me tried so hard to shove everything that made her, her into a little box to bury. All so that she could be liked.

Unfortunately for her, current me has dug up that box, broke the lock, dumped everything out and is nearly sorting its contents into a “keep” pile and a “put in the past” pile.

Sorry lil old me. Turns out the patterns you learnt and lengths you were unfortunately pushed to actually did some very harmful stuff for us in the long run. So now we’re sat slowly unraveling that knot in our development

Had Gatsby playing on my car speakers and was sat in my drive singing when this lovely event happened:

Me: TODAY’S THE DAY! *slams my hand down on the wheel, aka accidentally letting the horn beep out into my very quiet neighbourhood*

My neighbour: *looks at me for about five minutes before shaking his head and going to his car.*
