Enjolras fights a battle against Grantaire's depression, giving everything he has to keep them both afloat. But is love enough? The harder Enjolras fights, the more Grantaire feels like a burden, dragging Enjolras down. He wants Enjolras to be free and thinks breaking up is the only way to do that.
